- Fabian (9/5): Worth it, great trip! - Nice spa, very fun to jump in the cold pool then back into the spa. The location next to the park meant we could enjoy some local sports teams playing. The front office had a few things we could purchase, snacks etc. Plus we really appreciated the free fejoas :)

- Alison (10/5): Loved the location and facilities. - Would stay here again in a heartbeat. On a cold rainy week in NZ, the cabin we booked, whilst smallish, was cosy, warm and comfortable in terms of beds. The lady at the front desk was welcoming and helpful, we had a lovely view and the restaurant across the road served great food with a smile. This holiday park beat out several more expensive motels we stayed at in terms of the pleasantness of the stay. The cabin had a double bed in the main room and bunk beds in a small bedroom. It had its own bathroom and a decent kitchenette. There was a great pool and spa. The dining table/lounge chair area was very cramped and with three suitcases the space became tighter.

They are not soundproof at all, and when you have a family with two active kids in the other part of the double cabin, it can be loud. Interior has a bit of wear and tear.

- John C (10/5): Perfect location, nice price and facilities - We visited twice within one month. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. The facilities are very well maintained, and the kids loved the warm pool. We really enjoyed our stay. The bunk bed looked a bit aged, and some of the kitchen stove burners were not functioning properly.

The accomodation is excellent, clean and comfortable bungalows. And not to forget the helpful and friendly staff. I really recommend this park to everyone.

The cabin, bathroom and kitchen were absolutely spotless (any time we went in there) - we could have eaten a fried egg off any surface , everything was sooooo clean. Fabulous . You deserve a medal. If this is an example of what tourists get when they visit NZ they must be very impressed. We were. Thank you so much.

- Joel (7/5): All right for Waitomo Caves - Easy to find, great location, enough parking space. The staff gave us a nice welcome. The hut had nothing but a bed inside. It got hot and there was no CA to fight against it. Also, the shared bathroom was a bit hygienically questionable.

- 99anitam (10/5): Ideal escape from Auckland — the staff are fantastic and the facilities are clean and well maintained - I’ve been coming to this spot for years, but the new management team has completely transformed the experience! The grounds are immaculately maintained, the bathrooms are sparkling, and there is a genuine sense of community. You can tell they care about their campers—they were incredibly welcoming and helpful with our setup. It’s clear this place is now run with passion. Highly recommend a stay here!
