- Greg (10/5): Would have liked to have stayed longer. - Perfect location and facilities Inside the cottage has been fully renovated with quality fixtures and fittings. The external gardens are being extended around the cottages and should look great when finished. Good maintenance plan in place for the external facades of the cottages. Not much
- Sergei (9/5): One of a kind near lake Eildon - Picturesque view: fields, hills, mountains, lake, and lights of the nearby town, all visible at once. Lots of real farms around with all kind of farm animals, that kids would love to peak at right from the balcony. Clean and modern interior of the cottage. Perfect fit for exceptionally comfortable summer stays (ac and ceilings fans). I’d say again that the overall stay was 9.5/10, and we were totally satisfied with everything, however the internet access or a good variety of dvd’s to fully cover those 1-2 hours of downtime before midnight could have made it 10/10.

- Dianne (7/5): Stunning views at Burnt creek cottages - The views were amazing, stunning, breath taking. We had such a peaceful relaxing time. The cottage was ok, had everything we needed, except wifi. The gravel driveway was a bit scary. The older cottages looked like they needed a bit of a spruce up, painting inside & out, clean windows, spray for insects and clear away cobwebs.

- Hannah (7/5): Comfortable but not fancy. - The views were lovely and everything was provided. Communication was good. The water was brown which made me wonder about hygiene. I understand water levels in the tank are low but it’s still unpleasant. Also there were so many different kinds of insects. Thank goodness for the Mortein spray provided. The place is quite dated and needs a bit of maintenance like loose handles.

- Iryna Brtsyieva (10/5): - This was our third time here, and I like everything about this place: how cosy the cottage is and how peaceful the scenery is. This is the place to slow down, relax, and enjoy. To more practical details: cottage has everything you need for a short stay: kitchen with pots, pans and cutlery. Laundry with dryer. Everything works perfectly. The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that none of the DVDs in the collection worked. Kids wanted to have a movie night but couldn't. Some don't even start, and others stop working after a short time. Worth updating the collection.

- Joseph (6/5): Great views of the Highlands. - The views are fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped and loved the heat the windows absorb through the day. Cobwebs in high to reach places, the vents are filthy...the water pump is too loud and too close to the house. The linen is great but the mattress and pillows terrible. The bathroom needs updating and the shower is super temperamental with the hot and cold taps...big dislike!

- Ray (9/5): Very comfortable, very convenient location with easy access to Mansfield and a really good getaway - The location was within very easy driving distance from Mansfield, well equipped and great views. It was nice and quiet which was just what I was after. The kitchen setup was good, it had more than the usual level of cooking utensils and it was all in good condition. The fireplace (stand alone) was great, it was more than adequate for the room and the supply of wood adequate and of good quality. There was nothing that really jumped out at me as a negative.

Cooker hob (electric-old) and took a long time to heat up. Otherwise bed was comfy and the cabin very nice. Great location.

- Amanda (10/5): Amazing and 100% recommend staying there if you are looking for a restful place to unwind. - LOVE LOVE it here, this is both mine and my friends second time staying and cannot rate it highly enough. The plan for us is to relax and rest while catching up so no need to be super close to town. They are picturesque cottages and are more than comfortable with all you need for a really amazing stay. Not so much a dislike but more of a side note, there is a really steep gravel driveway and my car wasn't amazing at navigating it otherwise I cannot complain.

- Mark (10/5): Family Fun - Peacefull country property with outstanding views of Lake Eildon and surrounding mountains. With wildlife and farm animals roaming the paddocks. Great hosts who were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay. The kids loved it and enjoyed the tennis court and pool. I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Would recommend at least a couple of nights stay. Come prepared for self catering as the town of Mansfield is at times very busy. It’s not 5 star, the cabin was clean and adequate in its offerings.
