Due to the lack of understanding of booking online for 2 rooms for 2 adults in each room with free breakfast included but on arrival I was told my booking was for 2 rooms and 2 adults only. My final party was 3 adults. Our 4th adult was unable to travel because of work.

We had a standard size small balcony overlooking the water, a microwave, iron and all the essentials. Only took us 10-15 mins to walk to the main strip of shops / restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here. Slight road noise, but that is to be expected when on a main road.

We were disappointed that we didn't get to use the bbq with our friends. The Gas bottle had run out and although they did bring another one it had a new attachment which was not able to be used with the bbq.

Over all The Clan was a well chosen place to stay for a couple of nights with our Spoodle in one of the Pet Friendly rooms. Very good slections on the breakfast menu with the beach right at the back door of the property. An added bonus was the Terrigal Hotel just a short walk away

Itâs a lovely location on the beach and close walk to the town! The staff are absolutely amazing and were all so helpful and friendly to me and my grandmother during our stay! Would highly recommend! The breakfast was also amazing and the oyster lunch too!

- georgia (6/5): - Location for our needs Shower head was leaking and not heigh enough for most people to shower under. It sat at our shoulders, had to duck to get under. The âpet friendly roomsâ that we booked wasnât the full cost, weâre told on arrival we needed to pay another $75 to have our pet there. This wasnât noted or communicated properly at all. Very disappointing. If we knew the only room available for a pet was the family room bringing the room to over $300 for 2 night we wouldâve booked somewhere else.

When I went to reception to request that the mildewed chair be removed, the receptionist said we will see what we could do! Our room was booked as strictly no pets and we were put 2 doors away from a couple of dogs. Dirty carpet. Filthy dirty chair and underneath was mildewed. Next morn to our dismay discovered sheets was dirty and the comforter had a large brown stain that was used around my neck. The door had problems shutting close! So old and dated the room. Omg, seriously how can one rent out the room like that. They actually downgraded us as they over booked, wasn't a king room so next morning checked out!

Free breakfast within booking period at the cafe. Very good price point for how good the facility is. Super close to the strip of shops for anything we needed. Wasnât sure if the tap water was fine. So we just purchased a pack of bottled water. Also there should be noise restraints at night, people were talking on the phone up and down balconies, which isnât great for people that are frightened easily, they should just stay in their rooms if they wanna talk at night.

Seriously impressed with the wonderful staff and hospitality provided. Breakfast options were flawless. Mum, me and son had a fabulous getaway with our little dog. I think the beach infront could have been racked to remove sharp braches and twigs washed up and rubbish removed from passers by. I donât think itâs the hotels beach but as itâs depicted as part of it, it would be nice if it could be made safer for kids to run around as we constantly had to manage where we walked. There is paddle boats that I thought were part of the hotel but appears they are private hire. I wish I knew this as I would have pre booked so my son donât miss out, which he unfortunately did as the operation was non existent.
