- Bolton (5/5): . - . .
- Garfield (1/5): Shit Tip - Nothing, Booking.com needs to remove this tip from it’s site Awful, walked away without staying here. Do yourselves a favour do not book this place
- Benjamin (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - The room was nice with all the features such as fridge,toaster,tea/coffee,sink etc.Location is very good and staff are friendly Nothing in particular. It was pretty good
- Robert (8/5): Clean and comfortable accommodation in an excellent location. - location, cleanliness Would be nice to have soap at the hand basin rather than needing to fetch liquid soap from the shower.
- Jim (8/5): -
- Milanovic (6/5): - Location Other occupants
- Milanovic (6/5): - The location Some of the other occupants made me feel a little uncomfortable
- Neil (7/5): Old-style quiet accom - Quiet. Easy walk to transport and food options. Stairs but no lift.
- Bannon (9/5): -
- Kathryn (5/5): Definitely needs updating it’s a very tired property -
- de Riviere (7/5): - Everything Too short but will come back.
An elevator would have been perfect.
- SHANE (10/5): -
- Benjamin (2/5): This place has the potential to be really good. Just needs a clean and I’d concider coming back. But next time I come up - What a location, right on the water, next door to pubs and a very short walk away from the station. The room was filthy, blue soap scum in the shower, the draws in the ‘kitchenette’ was full of hair and bits of what I assume to be old food. That’s the same surface the miss matched cup where placed face down on. It was advertised has having a kitchenette but had no plates or bowls. We ended up using the tray the tea and coffee was on.
- rainchook (6/5): Satisfactory but not what we expected -
- leaney (10/5): - clean
- Tamanna (7/5): Customer Service - Location N/A
- Kristy (5/5): Meh - The location, nice view, close to cafe and restaurants Limited towels and toilet paper, heard our neighbours word for word through the door, including shrieking children til midnight, not really value for money but it was a long weekend to be fair, quite old fashioned and could really use a paint
- Margaret (6/5): Best location but very run down staff very friendly - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very tired looking
- Keith (4/5): - Clean comfy bed + microwave in room.
Would be acceptable for 1 to 3 nights if price wasn't so expensive.
Would say this type of motel should be more in the region of $140 or less.
Very old building, 28 stairs to climb, no lift. Tiny wooden table, top very sticky.
No coat hangers at all.
No comfy seat only 2 chairs at the little table.
Noise from car park below.

- Scott (10/5): -
- Danny (7/5): -
- Gloria (9/5): - Location was central, great water views from our room
- Chris (7/5): Basic, but functional. -
- Lisa (7/5): Great view, cheap and basic. Lots of stairs and no elevator. - Great view of the waterfront The room was very basic and was not serviced at all while I was there. No hand soap, tissues or water glasses. A bit shabby.
- Helen (9/5): The things I mentioned above were only minor annoyances and we would definitely stay here again. - The location was excellent, just a few streets away from where we were going on Christmas day. The room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of hanging spa but no hangers were provided.
There was only one dessert size spoon.
No dessert/soup plates so we had to wash out and use the one that held the tea, coffee and sugar sachets.
The water was only lukewarm.
- Laura (8/5): - Location, staff are on site Oh the stairs
- Alison (5/5): - Location and friendly helpful staff Outdated, in need of refurbishment and was lacking in kitchen equipment
- Kelly (5/5): Older motel just seems to attract a rough crowd. - Great location. The motel is old but our room was clean. Bed was comfortable .The gentleman at the front counter was friendly. The issue wasn't with the motel per say. We were in the room by the balcony upstairs and people ( multiple times, different people) would go out and I'm assuming smoke on the patio area and talk very loudly. First one was shouting at someone on speaker phone from before 10pm till around 11.30. Then a group of people about 2am. Another different group at 4.55am for over an hour talking about being on bail and a different group again just after 6am. All talking incredibly loud right outside. Barely slept at all Friday night. It was better Saturday but I'm guessing all those people from the night before had left.
- Antonio (7/5): A bed in good location - Location and price Very old and. Stair access difficult
- Natalia (5/5): -
- Wendy (9/5): - Friendly helpful reception by Sunny. Good location near my function next day. Near shops for food etc. Many new appliances all working . Shower recess cleaner please
- Stephen (8/5): Great - Clean
Close to station , pubs , buses, shops
Good communication with staff
- Laura (10/5): - Location Stairs
- Laura (9/5): - Very relaxed great location No biscuits lols
- Kevin (8/5): - I dont do stairs weel as I am slighty impaired
- Laura (9/5): Beautiful Woy Woy - Views are great, close to all the shops. Staff are very nice. They don't give you biscuits.
- Jason (7/5): -
- Lawrence (5/5): No complaints regarding the room - Clean. Please advertise about the surrounding noise. - The room was clean, the bed was clean, the bathroom clean, the linen was clean. The late night noise from the surrounding establishments such as the pub ? underneath my room. Saturday night from around 12.30am - 2am constant loud music and singing from one or two individuals plus other residents who stayed at the hotel would have a get together on the 'balcony' outside room 1 and 17 to smoke and talk all hours of the night/morning.
- Fuery (7/5): -
- Fuery (7/5): -
- Fenech (7/5): I used this motel for a place to sleep and I didn’t spend much time through the day but it was comfortable at night, goo - Decent room and bathroom, working amenities and closet space, close to shops. Shared parking with Pub/Bar across the lot, some issues with other tenants.
- John (9/5): - All excellent, great service.
- Susan (7/5): Waterfront location - The location - right on the waterfront. The kitchenette was handy. Close to shops and transport. The light in our bathroom didn't work, which was disappointing. The large window that overlooked the waterfront had a big crack through it, and the tint film had been scored with graffiti. There was no sink in the kitchenette, washing the dishes in the bathroom sink was kind of gross. The building wasn't very well maintained. Our room opened onto the smoking area, we had a guy sitting right outside our window for a couple of hours which was a little unsettling. Whenever anyone smoked, it blew back into the building so you could smell cigarette smoke in the corridors.
- Graeme (6/5): An overnight stay that could have been so much better. - The view over the water No wifi in room
Very hard and uncomfortable bed.
- Leanne (10/5): -
- Garry (7/5): Good location, reasonable price, quiet and comfortable. - Good location in the centre of town, room and bed good. All rooms upstairs and rooms could do with some maintenance to fittings.
- Jaimey (2/5): Not worth the money, hidden fee, needs renovation - The view of the room was lovely, close to stores, restaurants. 1) Not worth the money, plus a hidden fee, staff says it was booking. com fault for not informing, however didn't see it on booking.coms sites?. The man at reception said he has the problem all the time but doesn't do anything to fix it.
2) Stairs, tight staircase so will be difficult for mobility disability & elderly. no lift
3) Bed was hard, 1 flat pillow each, till we found the rest of the pillows in the cupboard.
4) loud music, bongo drums, early mornings late nights
5) Room was dusty, unclean, not enough ventilation
6) bathroom not cleaned, not enough ventilation, not enough toilet paper, shampoo or soap, towels, dirt and mold around the bottom of the shower.
7) strong smell of cigarette smoking outside
8) felt uncomfortable to be outside alone
9) uncomfortable with all the video cameras in each corner outside.
10) red laundry bags left outside for 3 days, eye catchers on balcony
11) Reception wasn't there when we tried to book out, had to call, to get the attention to book out.
12) had a door in the kitchenette room but couldn't open it, at start thought it was a cupboard, till realised it was another room with lock on their side.
13) Felt unsafe to have our personal belongings, left in the room while we were out. So we left them in our car instead, besides our clothes.
14) paper thin walls, the place needs a renovation.
Uninviting look.
15) hard to find place, drove past it twice
- John (6/5): Cheap, what I expected. - Felt ultra-entry level. Access.
- Frank (5/5): Clean, basic but functional - Clean, located right in town near cafes, etc Minimal plates and cutlery; stairs only which didn't affect me but you wouldn't want to have a disability or be elderly.
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb -
- Gary (7/5): Good -
- Paul (7/5): Wo woy highlights - The space in the room.
The kitchenette
The air con The noise from the pub, but I knew that before I stayed there.
- Helen (5/5): Passable -
- Judy (6/5): Location inVery basic however - Location
- Michael (7/5): Good - Right near everything you need. Was a bit dusty in the room.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chamara (1/5): Bad -
- Maxworthy (4/5): Very disappointing - Room was in desperate need of renovating. The bed was clean and comfortable as was the kitchenette.
Unfortunately the shower had dirt /mould around bottom edge and between some tiles.
The kitchenette table was unusable ,very sticky and marked. I tried cleaning it but it stayed the same.
When I booked i didn't see any mention of access to rooms having many stairs to climb.
My husband who has a disability had difficulty climbing them.
- Patricia (8/5): I loved my stay.everything was excellent for me. - It's location....the comfort that I felt..the welcoming staff who provided all information I needed to know.well done for the good work.i would highly recommend others. Thew fact that there is no WiFi..at least put sugar and milk for us to make tea.
- Carolyn (9/5): great location and easy to find plus lovely surroundings - very close to buses and train station. shops right there and across the way beautiful watersedge. cant see from room i had because of trees and the pub/motel next door. comfy bed and everything you would need in the room. good sized room too. pleasant staff. heard nothing from other people there all night. didnt get to use the shower as i was there late. there was a generator or generator in a truck in the car park next to the motel and hard to know why. it was going all night and if u r a light sleeper like me thats not good. maybe something this motel could do nothing about. I got no sleep. there was also goods trains going up and down the line a lot during the night. daytime these things are not noticeable.
- Benjamin (5/5): Passable -
- Kathryn (7/5): Good -
- Bow (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mathew (4/5): Disappointing -
- Matt (9/5): Break by the Bay, 2025 - Assistance from the gentleman at reception. Delivery of a parcel I had ordered directly to my room. Nice touches like that, somewhat the exception these days, are very much appreciated. Nothing. Was all good.
- Morsley (7/5): Good - The location The bed and the steps
- Kathryn (7/5): Good -
- Alexander (4/5): Wouldn’t stay again - Nothing Smelt bad, undesirable people hanging about.
- Melanie (7/5): Good - Room was spacious and comfortable. It was very smokey as, although smoking isn't allowed in rooms it is allowed on the nearby balcony.
- Katherine (5/5): Passable - Good location The motel in general and the room in particular was not clean.
- Warren (5/5): Passable - The view It was dirty
- Rosemary (9/5): On my way to Sydney. - Had private shower facilities. Would have liked water view but decided the extra money was a bit over priced.
- Dennis (3/5): Poor -
- Greg (1/5): Bad -
- Duncan (2/5): Very poor -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (7/5): Good - Position For the facilities provided there was not enough crockery and cutlery. No plugs for the sinks. No screens on windows
- Revkev60 (5/5): Passable -
- Kerry (6/5): Good - Great location No daily housekeeping
- Harley (7/5): Good weekend - Good location in centre of town; clean room with good view. The premises are old but comfortable.
- Leonie (1/5): Don’t bother. - The view was lovely. The place was a hovel. It was old, dirty, broken and uncared for. Way overpriced for the facilities.
- Gerard (8/5): Very good -
- Jeffrey (6/5): Will not stay there again but not saying it is the worst motel we have stayed in though! - Room comfy enough. Clean as was the bathroom and bed was comfy too! Room comfy enough, there is no elevator due to the age of the building, a fair number of steps, not great at all for elderly folk or people with mobility issues. Bathroom shower pressue so weak, and hot water took awhile to get hot! Location difficult to find initially, had to call the reception. Where it was/is was not in line with maps unless you have been there before.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (4/5): The property was well situated and our room had a great view of the waterway the overall state of the property is in nee - While the room we were in was very spacious and had a lovely view the window had a large crack and the couch needed a steam clean. The whole property is very old and tired.
- Jeanette (8/5): Easy access to places to visit in Woy Woy. Staff was extremely friendly - Location ideal for my visit. Close by to where I had to go in Woy Woy. Value for money as I didn’t have a lot to spend on accommodation. My accommodation didn’t have carpet in the room which actually thought was a lot cleaner because of the vinyl flooring.
- Elisabeth (6/5): It was a bed. - I liked that it was close to the water. I liked that we could leave the keys on the table to checkout. I didn't like that it was so close to the pub. The music was loud on Saturday night when we needed to be up early the next morning. The room could do with a really good clean. The table was sticky and the toilet door was dirty.
- Deborah (7/5): It was average, but we paid average price. It had everything we required so not complaining. - it was close to the venue that we were going to.
It was cheap.
It was a great location right next to the water It wasn't very clean when we arrived.
The plumbing issue was weird and I felt terrible wasting water (tap in sink in bathroom had to be turned on to access water in the shower).
It would have been nice to have some tables and chairs outside on the big undercover patio that all tenants had access to
- Chris (5/5): Location - Location Bed
And staff
- Grant (1/5): DONT DO IT, I’m amazed how they can let people stay in that place - Nothing Everything, it smelt like piss in the hallway and I requested a refund for the second night due to it but was denied
- Damien (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tracy (4/5): Disappointing - The size of the room was good.
Comfy bed
Great little kitchenette.
Great location, close to a lot of eateries and shops
The manager was so lovely to carry my suitcase upstairs The shower was either boiling or freezing, no in-between
A guy across the hall was having a fight with himself several times in the early hours of the morning. No one wanted to call the manager on this fried chicken. He could have hurt the manager. But he should have been kicked out.
Every time it rained their was a contant dripping from the roof into the ceiling space. There is no wet patch on the ceiling.
- Cheng (8/5): overall it is ok to stay for one night for occasion. - good location and tidy room. hot water tap on the shower base is not so smooth to handle.
- Sharon (5/5): Overnighter - Location Smelly outside, dirty bins cleaning bags left out overnight. No lift. Should have cancelled. Not happy.
- Graeme (10/5): Pleasant overnight stay - The location, size of room, cleanliness. Lack of wifi
- Oliver (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrienne (7/5): Good - The view Bathroom smelt. Paper thin walls. Only I flat pillow each. No wifi!
