• Maryanne (9/5): Location with a view - The apartment was fantastic with a great view of the bay and its surroundings. The sunrise is amazing to see in the mornings and the pool is very refreshing. If your looking for relaxation and peace i highly recommend this property. We will definitely stay here again. The property is about 15 minutes from Airlie Beach so you need a car but the shute harbour marina is about a 5 minute walk which is handy for the boat tours. There is a extra fee for room maintenance which we did not realise while staying there so ask for the amount of the fees and inclusions before confirming your booking.

Definitely recommend if you’re visiting the withsundays.

It is positioned in the hills overlooking Shute Bay, with Airlie Beach a short drive away and a ferry to Hamilton Island a 5-minute walk. The only very very minor thing I would change is the outdoor light over the steps down to the pool. This needs to be movement-sensitive only. The light prevented us from seeing the stars at night, which are fantastic.

I feel like this should be mentioned in booking description for travellers that come from overseas. There is only an infrequent bus that takes you into Airlie. The apartment had not been cleaned prior to our arrival, with dirt & dust across all of the rooms on floors & surfaces. With how much we paid, we were disappointed not to receive even a partial refund for this. It is unacceptable really. It's not nice to arrive to & we shouldn't have to spend time cleaning up. Very pricey too, can get a 5 star elsewhere for cheaper. They said nothing could be done in terms of the above
