Guest Reviews
- Vittoria S. (10/5): Magic stay in the glamping pod - We stayed in the glamping pod. Very beautiful and cozy. We loved it. Clean, quiet.
Towels, microwave, tv, kettle and parking next to the pod.
- Tara (9/5): Can’t wait to go back - Clean, affordable, beautiful location
- Catherine (8/5): -
- Shane (1/5): I don’t think I would stay here again - The staff were quite friendly The accommodations
- peter (1/5): Dreadful - Did not like it at all We didn’t get what we wanted
- Susan (5/5): Chinaman's Cottage - The setting. It was peaceful but would not have the advertised view if the campsites were occupied. The water was hot. No blankets supplied for the bunks and offered at a price of $30 when requested. The reverse cycle heater stopped working and only blew out cold air. Only 2 burners on the stove worked and the microwave didn't function correctly when trying to heat on high with timer. The cistern on the toilet needed fixing. We were able to manage it but someone with arthritis in hands would find it hard. The fact that it was assumed we were a couple, hence only one bed being prepared.
- Patty (9/5): - Great location only a short 5 min drive to town centre. The bathroom was very small but we managed fine as only stayed 2 nights. Otherwise a very cosy little cabin, perfect for single or couple.
- Jessica (8/5): -
- Olga (9/5): Great location, well maintened family cabin and good value for money. Exceptionally clean! - Exceptionally clean! Didn’t get to experience much of it as we only slept the night.
- Niels (6/5): I would not stay there again. - It was close to the town centre There was nowhere to put yoursuitcase or anywhere to hang clothes. A written threat to charge up to a hundred dollars extra for cleaning.
- Predrag (8/5): -
- Rachael (9/5): -
- Kathy (6/5): The family cabins are old and rundown - Beechworth is beautiful in Autumn The family cabin is old and rundown. Not what I expected or worth the price they charged us.
- Michael (9/5): Nice stay in a beautiful location - Neat and tidy in a beautiful location Wi-Fi no good
- Ross (9/5): -
- Graeme (6/5): Not much too say - It was a bed for the night Too far from town
- Adam (10/5): -
- Toni (9/5): -
- Sohail (7/5): - Clean facility,
- Jaman (6/5): -
- Malinda (8/5): - The cabin was lovely and comfortable and the shower had good pressure. There was less grass area than in the photos.
- Anthony (10/5): -
- Logan (7/5): - Location was great. Nice trees around the property and handy to town. Good shower amd aircon. Balcony view nice. Beds werent overly confortable. Couhes where though.
- Robbie (9/5): -
- Kevin (5/5): Serves its purpose but was very small - Availability Quite small for a “family” cabin
- Philip (4/5): - Beechworth! Such a nice place. Great bush walk from the accom into town. Nice and quiet. Beechworth! Such a nice place. Great bush walk from the accom into town. Nice and quiet. Beechworth! Such a nice place. Great bush walk from the accom into town. Nice and quiet. Booked a Family Room for 4 people. Turned up and was told I had a small cabin with one bed. Challenged the information and was told I was incorrect.
- diego (5/5): -
- Christine (5/5): Glad we only stayed one night - When you pay for a family suite and you have to bring your our bedding, as they only cater for two people. The bathroom was so tight and no where to put anything. Lounge only had a two person sofa. And the price for what you got was to high.
- Glynis (2/5): It was total crap. - Nothing it was crap. Too much noise early from tree loppers.
- Rhys (6/5): - Nice sized accommodation Beds weren't made, insufficient number of linens to make ourselves. Only partly set up space
- Anna (8/5): -
- Peter and Mel Hammond (8/5): - Great experience, quiet surroundings, relaxing vibes. Maybe a little dated, but made up for by the beautiful manager, so helpful
- Shane (9/5): -
- craig (3/5): very average - very old and dilapadated stairs to the tree house public ammenities were as bad as they were 30 years ago
- Nicole (1/5): -
- Deborah (9/5): Perfect forest break - It had everything we needed, clean and comfortable. The location is brilliant with the bike and walking trails connected to the camp site
- craig (3/5): VERY AVERAGE AT BEST WOULDNT RECCOMEND THIS PARK - Location was good Old dilapidated toilet bock it was at best average 30 years ago its definitely not any better now
Stairs to the tree house were average at best definitely need replacing
- Paula (4/5): Service good from staff but cabin was a disgrace. - I liked the service provided by staff when asked for extra knives as there was only 2 in the drawer for 4 people staying. I asked for extra blankets because we got cold the first night and was delivered exceptionally. The showers in the toilet block were great. The Cabin needs to be torn down and replaced. The showers and toilet were crap. The shower fluctuated hot and cold, the toilet seat would not stay up, the boys couldn't pee without holding the seat. There was no privacy for the main bed, could easily have a curtain the same as the other room, to enable privacy between friends. There was no toaster for our breakfast. Not enough hanging spaces or shelves (no wardrobe). Needed to live out of suitcases and all our outfits got creased. Cobwebs in the corners above the bunk beds.
- stephen (1/5): - Nothing Toilet didn't work. No sheets onbunk beds $30 charge to hire!!!
Shower nozzles kept falling off ,A/C not working..Lounge cover on both sides torn towel/cover required to sit down. Generally very poor not recommended.
- Christel (4/5): The accommodation was used for what I needed it for but nothing else - The bush land Not enough room to park the car .
Not easy to get around the ground every where signs said wrong way , go back but nothing clear saying which way to go.
The reception was never open so I couldn’t find out any information .
- raven (7/5): - I was able to cook our own meals and as we were on tight schedules it worked perfectly for us I felt slightly cramped as the park was full over the weekend, but that was to be expected as it was a holiday weekend.
- Carolyn (10/5): Would definitely stay again - Clean and close to town Everything was good
- Rhonda (7/5): - Bed was comfortable. Pod was well cleaned. Good facilities within the pod. Lovely location amongst the trees and still close to main street. I did not like the size of the pod. I have stayed in other glamping accommodations and got a shock at how small this one was. Would be uncomfortably cramped with 2 people. Check-in was via booking website which I could not access on my phone. When I did ring for check-in the lady was abrupt and unfriendly.
- Vickie (9/5): Very clean and was what we needed for 1 night. The park had everything you needed. -
- Marcella (9/5): -
- Donna (6/5): -
- Nick (9/5): -
- Michelle (9/5): - The accomodation was great for the 5 of us. The cabin had everything in it we required. There were ants Al over the bench and stove in the kitchen and also in the shower.
- Imogen (7/5): Great for a short stay visiting family in the area. - Location
Easy to book
Bed comfy
Air con
- Kelly (5/5): - Quiet location Very outdated for its price
- Melissa (7/5): Good value - The quiet location, helpful staff, close proximity to town The air con. It was not functioning properly meaning the room was exceptionally hot in hot weather
- Narelle (1/5): Never again. - Nil Unable to check in on time - 2.5 hours late - cleaning rushed. Destroyed groceries.
Pool was green and unavailable during a 40+ heatwave. Only advised of this the day before so no chance to cancel
- Sharmaine (10/5): We will be back - Villas where great an location was great
- John (9/5): Relaxing and comfortable stay - Clean , space efficient Always enjoy the stay
- Samuel (5/5): Need to invest/ update cabins - We booked pod accommodation with onsuite and kitchen facilities. On arrival was told that there was none available. As we had travel 4 hours and 365 km
We accepted a cabin suite.
The cabin suite was dated, but comfortable..
- Ross (4/5): We have stayed in parks all over australia and unfortunately this is not one of the better ones. - Bed comfortable, electric blankets. Unit was clean. Hot Water ran out both mornings just after starting shower. Toilet and shower too small, cramped. Unit is very old and needs replacing.
- Kevin (8/5): - Quiet
- Mark (3/5): Didn’t enjoy our stay - Nothing Beds, bedroom, bathroom and cleanliness
- Sophie (4/5): The photos on booking.com don’t reflect what you’re really booking, I had to double check that we were at the right plac - N/a The photos on booking.com don’t reflect what you’re really booking, I had to double check that we were at the right place upon arrival. The entire place needs updating.
- Gemma (5/5): -
- Robin (2/5): -
- Claire (3/5): Disappointing -
- Rhianna (7/5): -
- Ben (1/5): -
- Peg (4/5): Disappointing - It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The actual park looks like no one cares .. very run down .. the location was not good. Too far from the town and the walking tracks seem to be overgrown.
- Craker (1/5): - Nil Service , privacy, cleanliness, park conditions
- julie (8/5): Good small cabin that is dog friendly and well located - Great location very clean and friendly staff The fridge wasn’t great, on high almost everything froze but on lower settings the freezer section did not stay frozen
- simon (8/5): -
- Alena (10/5): Awesome dog friendly stop over - Great location and dog friendly
- Hogben (10/5): -
- Louise (7/5): Lovely clean cabin and outdoor environment - Very clean, functional cabin with all the necessities. The quality of the toilet paper was very poor. We had some issues with the air conditioner not working properly sometimes. No concrete outside door so dirt trampled inside, not great in wet weather.
- Wright (7/5): Clean, quiet and spacious. - Clean, quiet and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious. Great shower. There was nothing in the cabin to say WiFi was available. Very flat lighting. Very poor TV reception.
- Shantelle (10/5): -
- Lynn (8/5): - Very quiet location
Full kitchen supply, of crockery and cutlery No bathroom products for the price
Floor felt like it was sloping, some maintenance on the cupboard doors wouldn't go astray, it would stop damage to cupboards
- Elliott (10/5): . - Everything .
- Keith (7/5): -
- Allitt (5/5): - Cabin was old, bathroom cramped, beds need upgrade
- Robert (7/5): Reasonable place to stay for a couple of nights while visiting Beechworth but a bit expensive for 2 - While the cabin was old the bed was comfortable. We had good night sleeps. The kitchen had what was needed for making meals, good size fridge and table & chairs. The rooms could do with a paint job, lighting was more than adequate. Shower had very loose taps & hard to control hot & cold water flow. Cistern was badly cracked. The two seater couch has really seen better days.
- Suzanne (8/5): Great stay - Location, accessibility
- Sacha (6/5): Beautiful nature location close to town, rather be camping there than in the family studio. - Very close to town in a beautiful bush setting / friendly staff - would be great to be camping there. I would not choose the family room for a holiday but for a one-night-driving-through- it is just okay. It is clean but needs a little update. I am sure the friendly owners are aware; these things take time and money...
- Kim (5/5): -
- Keegan (7/5): -
- Carla (3/5): - Cabin was tired but clean. Staff responsive to concerns. Fellow resident, possibly a permanent resident of the park, showed disturbing behaviour and sat in her damaged four wheel drive staring into our cabin. When we shut the blinds, she beeped the horn several times. We ended up leaving the site and stayed elsewhere as we didn't feel safe.
- Rheicel (7/5): Overall great experience. Safe and quiet. The location is very convenient! - Beds are comfortable. Rooms are okay clean. Location is quiet but convenient. Will definitely stay here again. Price is higher than other similar accommodation.
- Alicia (6/5): The stay was pleasant and the accommodation adequate for what we needed, despite being small. - Beds were comfortable, the place was clean and had all the basic necessities. The cabin was very small, but given we didn't spend a lot of time in it, as we were out and about, it was fine for us. It did get very cold at night.
- Kym (10/5): -
- Shane & Evelyn (7/5): Nice place to base yourself for tourist things in the area. - We were 3 friends and the 3 bedroom villas gave us the opportunity to stay in one building but have privacy. We could park all our motorcycles on site, next to the villa which was very convenient. Villa was clean and served its purpose. Although in Beechworth township, it is a bit out (2 km); so walking into town for a dinner and drink is a bit of a stretch. Really need to drive in and there is the issue - drinking. Having said that, it has kitchen without an oven, so there is that.
- Pam (8/5): -
- Finn (8/5): -
- Adele (6/5): Old cabin but updated inside, neat & tidy. Did the job - It did the job. Was tidy and clean.
- Michelle (7/5): -
- Mobourne (10/5): - beautiful place
- Jason (7/5): - Was a beautiful.spot.to stay lovely quiet good little play area for the kids Went to use the bbq just outside our villa but unfortunately it was covered in thick mould very unhygienic would of loved to have been able to use nothing beats a bbq on a night away
- Rachel (10/5): - The glamping pod was fantastic, very comfortable, sparkling clean and in a beautiful setting. Will definitely be back.
- Stephen (2/5): - Nothing staff was helpful though Everything facilities needed upgrades pillows we're old had head indentation look
- Keith (7/5): Won’t be back - Price Distance from town on roads without footpaths. Very small bowls. Nowhere to hang clothes.
- Matt (9/5): Excellent, what a location, we will be back. - The size of the 3 bedroom Tree house was fantastic Look, its old but the kitchen is new and equiped extremely well.
- Yramezor (8/5): Winter Wonders and Wet Weather - Loved the town. Historic buildings and the convenience of the dog friendly accommodation. The staff were very helpful also Hope to visit again in warmer weather . The weather was cold and wet, but having a carport was wonderful.
- Rhys (7/5): -
- Shelley (10/5): 7 of us were pleased that the accommodation catered for all of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay - Spacious house, lovely park, self contained, wifi, affordable, close to town, great facilities, quiet
