It was clean, warm and comfy and close to local places to eat. No complaints, really. I think some people expect way too much! This place does need a bit of sprucing up in places, but it was clean and, for the price, was good value.

- Dawid (4/5): - W pokojach było w miarę czysto a, zameldowanie i wymeldowanie przebiegło bez problemu. Hałas od drogi był słyszalny ale nie przeszkadzał we śnie. Przy bookowaniu była informacja o śniadaniach i z tego powodu wybraliśmy te miejsce. Na miejscu okazało się, że śniadań nie ma. Gdybym o tym wiedział zarezerwowałbym inne miejsce. Na terenie motelu późnym wieczorem głośno krzyczeli pijani mężczyźni, a jeden z nich próbował wejść do naszego pokoju. Zamek w drzwiach się nie zamykał ale na szczęście drzwi były zabezpieczone łańcuchem więc mu się to nie udało. Mimo to i tak obudziliśmy się spanikowani.

- Kenneth (8/5): Nice stop off on the way to Melbourne from Adelaide. - Room was tidy and very clean. The hotel is close to the town's shops and also a fauna wildlife park. The corellas flock around the area at sunset and create lovely Australian ambience. Air conditioning was good also. Some minor maintenance on fixtures would have helped the appearance in the room.

- MJGR (1/5): Very very rude staff and run down place - The location is good next to the freeway. Otherwise nothing else is good, it's a run down old shabby motel. Staff or the people working there are extremely rude, arrogant, impolite. Our family with 2 little kids drove from Melbourne after work on Friday, we reached there around 11.55pm at night. An old man with bread came out very angry and upset because we were trying to look for the keys at the reception and disturbing his sleep. We had informed them through booking.com that we will be late, arriving only around 12am, and I asked them how to check in on the booking.com chat, no reply came about keys on the chat. Reply to this message came from an unknown mobile number as a SMS which I missed since I was driving. Back to the story, that man had absolutely no consideration for us and that we had 2 little kids( 5 &2), he just kept repeating I have done my job of informing you about the keys and now I have been disturbed. And he banged his door on our faces while going back inside. The motel room is a below average run down place, milk in the fridge was ice, sugar packets were hard as rock, shower had green mould and draws broken and rough. WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE.

Holes in carpet. Grubby shower. Handles missing from tables, torn chair in corner which was covered with a blanket. Door didn't lock properly. Dull drab and overall dingy.Neve

We did notice that the room could benefit from a night curtain for the window next to the door to improve privacy. The window sill and tracks could also use some extra attention, as there were some dead flies and bees present.

Clearly they didn't change the sheets. We slept on top of the blankets instead of in the bed. Shower old and dirty. The toilet was disgusting and not secured to the floor

- Nicole (3/5): Short and not very sweet - Just the location really. I mean it wasn’t great, but it was ok. Central. The room was very dark, gloomy. Outdated and not very welcoming. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the room smelt like an old toilet.
- Nat (5/5): It’s a good place to stay if you are in a pinch and need some where to rest your head. - We stayed in the family room was quite spacious and the bathroom was huge and newly renovated Downfalls was kitchenette was small, can’t drink the tap water - jug of drinking water is supplied, if you have young kids are sleeping in the other room it’s hard to use the bathroom as the only door to access it is in that room. Also there needs to be a door between the shower areas and bathroom basin so multiple people can use the bathroom at the same time. Curtains in main room need to be replaced also let’s a lot of the sign lighting straight into the room. We also had a courtyard that needs to see a little love.

Bathroom could have been cleaner but it was OK for a 3 star. We found a ring in our bed, so if anyone was looking for one that they lost, contact the staff. We handed it in on checkout.

I wanted to discuss the fact that I had booked with breakfast but they did not serve breakfast any more. I have to say when we got there the manager gave me a $20 refund without any questions asked. The only other thing I think the photos may have been a bit old because the room looked a bit tired and needed a lick of paint.I didn’t like that. The communication wasn’t good. The staff were helpful. You couldn't drink the water but they supplied a big jug of lovely distilled water which was nice. The bed was fairly good. We brought our own pillows. It was pet friendly so that was the best point of it all. It's great that they are pet friendly . I would return there again. The room served its purpose as we were on a Flying trip to Adelaide. We weren't on holiday. Great shower with great water pressure! It was right on the highway and quite noisy with trucks passing by all the time but once asleep they didn't bother either of us. The carpet was a bit dated as was the entire room but I guess that's what you get for a budget stay. There was a left over bathroom soap dispenser or something that the previous tenant had used it was sitting in the soap dish when we entered so that made me think was the room cleaned properly?

Our Room had a stuffy musty smell. We found live and dead moths in the room. The toilet was not secured to the floor and moved every time you sat on it. Advertised as having Foxtel but wasn’t working in our room, when we inquired with the desk clerk he pretty much just shrugged his shoulders and said oh I don’t know. We should have travelled another half hour up the road and stayed in boardertown.
