• Leonie (4/5): Wouldn’t stay there again - It was clean and quiet . The shower and hot water good. It was tired and needs a renovation . The gardens were unkept ..the reception area was in front of closed off junk rooms. It was further from city area than I expected
• Dimity (5/5): Very average, would not choose to stay there again. - Location Room extremely small and cramped. Bedspread and blanket felt like they needed washing. Crockery mismatched and not sufficient for 3 people. Cutlery mismatched and several pieces missing. Car parking extremely cramped and difficult.

• Denise (4/5): We wouldn’t stay again - Its location near the river The bathroom in particular the floors, doors, door handles & wall tiles need replacing or a good scrub to remove mould, dirt & grime. I understand it’s a budget room but it doesn’t cost much to scrub bathroom floor etc.

• Neil (10/5): Comfortable bed, great showers, very spacious rooms - Amanda is a great host at Murray River Motel i have stayed here for work a few times and they look after me and upgrade my room so nice in normal rooms but upgrade is great and very kind to a loyal customer nicest place i have stayed in swanhill hill and most other places travel for work around Australia thank you Nothing to not like

• Maigen (9/5): Lovely clean motel! - Very nice motel and super clean and fresh! Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nice and spacious and quiet. Good value for money. We both found the beds a little too soft but still fairly comfortable. Water temp in shower was a little hard to maintain but the pressure was great.

• Roman (8/5): Murray River Motel credit - Good location. Excellent staff. Amenities clean and perfectly adequate for a moderate priced motel. Quiet and functions flawlessly. It would be really good to have a simple breakfast ie Continental as it seems to accommodate through travellers rather than just overnighters. Not a criticism, just a suggestion

• Terence (9/5): - The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is decent. Deeper than I expected, which was good. The place is not flashy, but it's quiet and the people were nice. It's a little walk from town, but that works too. It's in a nice part of the town. Decor is dated, but that is not going to affect my choice about staying there again.

Location was perfect beautiful walk along the river to great coffee shops, and walk into town at night for dinner and a drink Nothing negative to say.
• DK (8/5): Good basic hotel room - Room was spacious. Beds were fine. Bathroom was adequate. Air conditioner worked. We were upgraded apparently. Yes I would stay again in the upgraded rooms. The state of the garden seat, path to office and window sill of the private residence was really off putting and I nearly walked away prior to booking in.
