Paris (4/5): - The place hasn't changed since it was built in the sixties. the shower in room 18 was leaking water through the wall onto the bedroom floor, no exhaust fans, the bathroom vanity doors were falling off. Very disappointing for $250 per night.

My room was extremely musty smelling, and the carpet was old and smelly - you will want to keep your shoes on while in the room. The bathroom was tiny and unkempt. The air conditioner did not work. The rooms are not a place you want to spend any time in. It's a real shame this once iconic motel in such a dire state. Staff were pleasent to deal with.

Kane (8/5): Affordable accommodation in outstanding location - Modest and comfortable motel in the heart of Eden. Directly on Main Street so a short walk to cafes, antique stores and bars. Also, just a short (200m) stroll to the main beach which was amazing. Saw a large pod of dolphins swimming 50m from our family which was amazing!

Elaine (2/5): - We booked and paid for one night through wotif.com at $155 a night but as we were going to be in Eden earlier than expected we rang to book another night and we were charged $265 for the extra night. I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the motel as it was very rundown and did not seem to have had any maintenance done in a very long time. The bathroom had mould and the room smelt old and dirty. I feel that for over $400 for the 2 nights we were taken advantage of. Would not recommend this motel to anyone else.

The room was neat and tidy with a massive bed & all we needed for self catering. The only downside was that the walls are a little thin and our neighbour snored very loudly!

David (6/5): - When I booked the room, it stated that both a restaurant and breakfast were available, neither of which turned out to be the case. While good meals were available nearby, it was still disappointing, since these were the main reasons I chose this motel as distinct from others in Eden. The room was quite small, but was clean and quiet.

Verified traveler (6/5): Expectation dashed - I booked a king bed with bath but on arriving there was no bath in the room. After questioning this fact at reception, we were told it was advertised incorrectly on Hotels.com. Why was this acceptable? In the end she offered us a suit at a reduced price but we didn’t want to spend the extra $$. The room really needed a new bathroom sink & carpet etc. The bed was very good.

Florence (4/5): Family trip - I booked two rooms for us and for my sister and husband. I and my husband stayed in room 14 . The room was smelly and I turned on the air conditioner . But the air condition had water dripping down and we turned off during the night . The bathroom was worn out and the soap holder had a big area of black surface . The bathroom door was difficult to close . The towels were old . However the location is excellent and close to supermarket and restaurant. I hope the hotel manager can pay attention to room 14 for the next guest
Verified traveler (4/5): This place needs a major revamp - This place needs a major revamp. The bathroom vanity is water damaged and wood is fraying on the edges. The carpet is very old - there is a smell. Most fixtures are old, dingy and dated. The bed was comfortable at least. I know it is a 3 star motel but when paying over $250 per night (no breakfast), you kinda expect a certain level of quality.

Katerina (6/5): - It was a quiet place and a great location! So close to everything with only a couple of minutes of walking to everywhere. The rooms were very much in need of improvement though. The curtains were green and so was the carpet. There was a massive crack on the ceiling and behind the door there was paint that had come off that needed painting. On the hinges of the door there was masking tape that was covering the cracks. It’s only cosmetic changes but it would’ve lifted the room and not made it feel like your in the 70’s. We had the family room and our bed was rock hard which was very uncomfortable. Our kids beds were the same. Overall, it was clean and well stocked and a great location.
