• Anne (10/5): A perfect country retreat - The location was lovely; a quiet, picture perfect country setting only five minutes from town. We were welcomed with the smell of freshly baked bread. The cottage contained everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

It was cold at night so we lit a log fire and it was very cosy. It was also very peaceful as the cottage is just a couple of minutes drive to Richmond and situated on beautiful farmland. We cannot wait to return. N/A

• Sophie (10/5): Daisy Bank Cottages are absolutely beautiful. We loved our stay. - Such a great location and a beautiful farm. Friendly and helpful hosts. Lots of great little touches that didn’t go unnoticed, felt very cosy and homely. Freshly baked bread that was still warm when we arrived, a well lit fire and beautiful flowers. The views are amazing and the farm animals are adorable! We loved learning about the history of the cottages and the current design, beautiful classic decor throughout. Hope to be back one day! Our favourite stay while travelling around Tasmania.

• Cang (10/5): It was amazing and wonderful! - The location is amazing with beautiful views. So much attention to details in the house. The place is clean and has been decorated with tasteful touches. Love the bath tub outdoor , the availability of yoga mat and bean bags to be fully immersed in the environment. The place is awesome, these are more of not picking: Outdoor and indoor throws blankets need to cleaned, smell funny. No tissue box. Would be good to have some sponge for washing dishes/ cleaning the kitchen stove/ bench.
• Robert (10/5): Country house gem - Loads of room, well laid out, and a great country location. Very quiet. The pillows are all too thick. Same as the Hilton Hotel in Hobart. We wanted thinner sponge pillows, but none were available. Otherwise very good.

• Chris (9/5): Away from the rat race, includes lots of great peaceful additions with this Tiny House! - This was a surprise package. Things were a bit tight but we loved the big additional deck with lounge, bean bags and bathtub with a valley view. Kitchen was well set up and having a washing machine and line between trees to dry was great. Did not miss having a TV. Waking up with a beautiful sunrise through your small bedroom window was great. Of all our seven stays in Tassie...this one is the most memorable for many good reasons. Was handy to drive to beautiful Richmond town. Access to the Tiny House on the big property could have been better organised. There wasn't really space for storing your suitcases. Hannah needs to keep her mobile phone on at all times.
• Tracey (9/5): Great place to stay would recommend it. - The location was amazing. Bread on arrival butter and eggs thank you so much. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Loved the accomodation. Real farm stay with all the trimmings. The bed was really hard and uncomforable and there was no airconditioning upstairs and it was a really hot few days we were there. No not alot of sleep.

Kitchen facilities are also brilliant and had everything we could possible need. Situated on a beautiful farm with plenty of friendly animals to see. Nearby town Richmond was great to visit. Wish we stayed much longer than 3 nights and we hope to come back!

Everything for a comfortable stay was provided including fresh little vases of flowers. Frome the large windows there were views over the farmland and the location is very handy for sightseeing around Richmond and the Eastern Bays. The wood heater was a real bonus and the cottage stay was a highlight of the trip.

A beautiful cottage, perfectly presented from the outside with gardens and sitting area. Inside is everything you could want ... spacious, beautiful bathroom and wonderful kitchen. Everything we needed was there and the host was very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay there again. Only thing negative was every sound from the bedroom upstairs could be heard downstairs and squeeky floorboards in the bedroom were loud at night. But not much can be done about that. Overall though, excellent stay.

The welcoming touches such as fresh milk, flowers in the cottage, firewood provided in the afternoon were unexpected and very much appreciated. The family (working) dogs were very friendly and energetic. Wonderful venue and lovely hosts. Hope the property is able to remain in family for many more generations. Would definately book again.

We appreciated the cooking facilities and the little extras such as herbs and spices, pod coffee and plenty of crockery etc. It was a relaxing setting on a farm with a lovely view but we were still close enough to walk into town.

• amit (10/5): Country at its best! - What a discovery! Glad we found this gem of a place in country side. Close to Hobart and Port Arthur. It’s really a lovely rural farm experience. The house is perfectly equipped with lovely garden upfront and Bbq facility available. Loved the fireplace. Hanna, the host was pleasant and welcoming. She helped us start the fire late at night and shared tips to wander around. The pet dogs and farm animals made the whole experience interesting. 3 days weren’t enough. Would have loved to stay longer. All good things come to an end though! Highly recommended.

Enough towels for a woman , One for body one for hair 👍 loads of personal touches like , throws on couches , nice dinner sets , toys for kids , books . Perfect for couples or families . Definitely the best place in Richmond, I’ve stayed in Other places in the past & nothing compares. A lovely young energetic family , passed down from generations. From the 1800’s , they have definitely perfected good old county hospitality . • Verified traveler (10/5): Absolutely lovely place to stay! - We absolutely loved our stay at Daisy Banks. We stayed 2 nights in the Spa Cottage at the end of our recent trip to Tasmania. There is a lot of activities to do and restaurants nearby, but the cottage is also a great place to relax and hang out. We loved the breakfast provided by the host, the farm setting, and it's location to Hobart/the airport. We hope to return again!
