Guest Reviews
- Shakara (10/5): - It was clean and convenient. Nothing it had all that we needed
- crankydoc (6/5): Overnight stay to break up the drive - The bed was comfortable and the shower was fine. There was satellite television which had a wide selection of programmes, which you might not expect to find in a small rural town. The main issue for me was the noise of traffic from the Bruce Highway, which was pretty intrusive, and was essentially constant the whole night long, so didn't sleep well.
Also, my room was up a couple of flights of stairs, which could be a problem for those guests with reduced mobility.
- stimson (7/5): -
- Anne (9/5): Brief overnight stay, with all the things needed. Surprisingly little street noise for a room adjacnt to the front stree - Great off-street parking, clean & tidy, with all the things needed for an overnight stay.
- Warwick Thomas (6/5): Convenient basic value for money - Convenient for 1 night stay to meet train. Typical country travel accommodation Very basic accommodation
- John (7/5): Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, soundproofing not great. - Close to everything, easy to find, onsite parking, reception staff very helpful Enjoyed everything except soundproofing is not great, could hear traffic during the night and also could hear talking from the next room at 4am when they were getting up ready to leave, did not get much sleep
- Lucy (8/5): -
- Conrad (Brett) (6/5): Convenient, clean, cosy. - It was nice and clean and good value. The rooms closest to the highway are a bit noisy with truck traffic at night, but for a stopover, it’s ok.
- Ian (9/5): -
- Nick (5/5): - Room clean. Shower Arm broken.
- Susan (8/5): -
- Diane (8/5): Overnight in Miriam vale - Easy access, very comfy for our night stay. NA
- Joanne (9/5): -
- James (8/5): -
- Shannon (6/5): Was nice but we will find other places to stay - Was good quiet area That we had to share same house as other people. Even though doors were locked we still felt very uncomfortable

- Konnie H (8/5): Value for money. Perfect for stop over while long distance drive. - Distance from Bruce highway. It's on it. Fresh milk for coffee/cereal. Shower is due for renovation. Water pressure is low although it was clean. Room size was for one. A bit challenging for two.

- Ian (9/5): - Great Location and easy access. n/a
- Timothy (9/5): enjoyable quiet overnight with evening & morning food close by - nice quite location where our room situated, short walk to pub for a meal & bakery or cafe for breakfast next morning close by. maybe a wider/ larger parking space may have been more the size of our vehicle though
- Robyn (5/5): There are other rooms which look quite nice on the property. We got maybe the last one which was very old, dirty, run d - Not much. To be fair, I think there were not many rooms left or we got the last one. Shower was good with plenty of hot water. Bed was pretty good as well. Very old. Very few power points. Tiny room. Dirty. Curtains ripped, ill fitting. Old style push out windows that didn’t
actually latch shut. Over priced for what was presented.

- Philip (2/5): We wouldn't stay there again. - It gave us an overnight break on a car journey. We had to chase up a second bedlamp.
The door to our room couldn't be locked, so we had a change of rooms after we had settled in.
The second room had windows that wouldn't lock.
- phil (5/5): -

- Ilonka (8/5): - Very comfortable and clean. Quite modern. Could NOT get the TV to work.
- Kym (4/5): Disappointing at the very least - location and a super comfy mattress, On one of the coldest nights of the year, it would be reasonable to provide at least a blanket or two in the room as there was no heating nor any electric blanket,

- Wayne (7/5): Very good - Clean & Tidy Touch small
- Desmond (7/5): - Close to the city centre
- Kym (7/5): Overall I had a very comfortable stay - Location excellent with regard to traveling south on A1.
Very easy access to local hotel or store for food and great little coffee shop.

- PETER (8/5): Comfortable overnight pit stop - Nice sized room with a comfortable bed. Even though close to the main highway we were not bothered by the traffic noise. Although the bathroom looked in need of an update, it was sufficient for our needs. We were woken at midnight by a stranger knocking on our door wanting to know what time we were leaving the next morning which was both weird and unsettling.
