Very convenient location and we particularly like that it is near a great walk on the Lake They is a bit of a smell coming out of the drains in the bathroom

• Bill (8/5): Great stopover motel. - Good value motel. It was comfortable enough. The property was clean and everything you need was there. Yes, it is an older motel but well maintained. The pool area looks nice but we didn't use it. Would use again for a short stop. The Blamey Hotel is a 5 minute drive away and was recommended by the motel, there was a Monday special when we were there and it was a large portion. Nothing.

The keypad entry was a good idea, but someone in a nearby unit got locked out in the morning and didn’t have his phone so he couldn’t get back in without the code. Everything you need was there. Shower was good. The kitchen and bathroom floors were covered in a sticky layer, so our shoe soles stuck a bit to the floor. Counter surfaces were very worn. Beds a tad hard but ok, body wash smelled a bit cheap and nasty. The walls, while made of brick, seemed pretty thin as I could hear the person in the adjoining room snoring. Not close to town and food options locally are limited. We ordered uber eats.

The room, however, was spacious and comfortable for our overnight needs. We did not meet any staff members as access was by a touch code. Communication with motel was good. • Kapila (9/5): Cozy room - Good size cozy room and also, avalable everything needed for a tourist. Saw couple of insects and small spider on the down light which scares my wife.

Unlike other places we had been staying the freezer actually worked - we were carrying items that had to be kept frozen. Nothing to complain about

We didn’t cook so can’t comment on the kitchen area. But we will definitely be back.

The location was fairly quiet and the local country club had great meals and outlook. The noise from the hot water systems when rooms on either side had showers. It would have been nice if the kitchen had included a sink.

Motel room was large and clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchenette had everything needed to make coffee and toast. Small issue, it was noisy in the room when our neighbours turned their water on, had a shower etc. The motel is older so I'm assuming not very good sound proofing. The bathroom is older however the shower pressure was excellent. This wouldn't turn me off staying there again. Communication was good from the owner, I liked the key pad for entry into the room, no keys to worry about. Easy check as I had already paid online. The pool was nice, has been updated and modernised with nice comfortable outdoor furniture. when our neighbours turned their water on, had a shower etc it quite noisy in the room. The motel is older so I'm assuming not very good sound proofing.

Loved the check in service. - It was very clean and if we were there for a longer stay, the self contained facilities would be very useful. Great pool area and it was kept very clean. Really easy check in. A little dated but still very comfortable and clean

Short walk to Lake Albert but a bit far from CBD. - Beds were comfortable, air-conditioned room at perfect temperature on arrival, especially considering the weather. The pool was amazing & very clean. The kitchen was drab & aged with minimal utensils/crockery & white goods supplied only (i.e. toaster, kettle and microwave) however it was sufficient for our stay. The ceiling fan in the bathroom could do with a good clean. The main entrance driving down to the accommodation could do with some maintenance.

• Tanya (7/5): We choose to stay here as we were watching our pennies and the location was good for our needs. I had heard that it had - Staff that we encountered were exceptional, beautiful garden and pool area. Clean? Yes Outdated badly, from torn, rippled stained carpet to peeling bench tops. Bathroom vanity needs replacing. Cracked tiles, please the shower curtain ought to be replaced regularly along with the rod that is rusted. We had no dish cloth nor tea towel. This is no means a 4 star and would just clear a 3 star. The beds itself were not really comfortable unless you like super soft bed. The doona ought to be washed as I found a mark and crust on it.
