- Pote (10/5): - Tash was very helpful
- Neylan (10/5): Very comfortable - Home like
- Sri Prasad (9/5): -
- jill (8/5): pretty good value for money. - Facilities. No actual bike storage - bikes had to be locked to a post in the rain.
Oven not clean
Visitors helped each other settle in and navigate the place, saw manager once.

- Chris (10/5): All your needs covered, Si and Tash (managers) make it all so easy and always contactable. - The breakfast selection, snacks, tea, coffee, hot choc and fruit were fantastic. All the things you really never bring to a lodge or hard to find at a destination were provided and part of the package nightly rate.
For kids this is so good, it just fills a gap for their peckish needs.
Having boiling water unit at the ready for tea and coffee rather than a kettle also a big win. Everything was just right and made it a very easy and relaxing trip.
The drop off point for luggage was a relief, the bathrooms have everything right there for getting ready to go out, the water pressure fantastic and hot water supply.

- Jittralada (10/5): Great place to stay in Thredbo. We’ll be back again! - Cosy and clean lodge. Well organised, great kitchen & utensils, excellent breakfast provided, close to shops and hiking tracks. Really enjoyed our stay here. No parking but not a big problem
- Paras (10/5): A cozy, well-located lodge with stunning views—an unforgettable Thredbo experience. - Thredbo itself is a magnificent place—truly one of the most beautiful spots in Australia. Nestled among hills and mountains, it feels like a peaceful escape into nature. Waking up in the morning with the hills right outside your window and balcony is an incredible experience.
Aneeki Lodge is perfectly located on the side of the hill. It’s cozy inside and well-equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The shared kitchen and living areas are a real highlight. You can cook whatever you like, as the kitchen has all the necessary tools, and the dining area is also very pleasant.
The living room is a great place to relax and socialise—whether you want to chat with other guests or step out onto the balcony just outside the living area. From there, you can enjoy stunning views of all of Thredbo, the hills in front of you, and the mountains you can hike, bike, or take the chairlift up.
If you’re planning any activities or looking to book restaurants, it’s worth giving the manager a quick call. He and his wife are incredibly kind and always happy to help—often going out of their way to find discounts for activities or restaurants whenever possible. Nothing significant—everything met our expectations and suited the stay well.

- Binnie (8/5): It was pleasant - Clean good view Small room not shared bathrooms
- Jessica (5/5): - Good location Cold not much heating
- Cooper (10/5): - super friendly owners and managers
- Pavel Ocovaj (10/5): - The whole place had a great vibe, helpful and friendly staff. The whole chalet was nice and tidy, with all the amenities you could ask for with amazing views of the slopes from the balcony. Rooms were nice small but warm and comfy. Plenty of bathrooms there, never had to wait to get in. The price but it's Thredbo..
- Damian (9/5): -
- John (8/5): - Heated rooms were lovely
Kitchen is well equipped
Easy access to village shops restaurants and village bus
- Bevan (9/5): -
- Zore (5/5): The steps outside are a hazard, the price tag of $1000 a night for a shoe box - The communal lounge area was nice, heating could have been warmer in the mornings. The rooms are absolutely just not suitable for 4 people plus luggage and ski clothes. Just tiny, given the $1000 + price tag per night.
No coffee machine. No towels for that price tag is mad
- Juanita (9/5): Very convenient. - Close to everything. Good facilities. Convenient. Hard to escape other people’s children.
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Alister (6/5): It did the job. - Open fire place and living area was great when fire was going. The heating was poor when the fire wasn't going. The kitchen area was very cramped.
- Jens (7/5): Super cozy and met a lot of nice fellow travelers. Has everything that you might need -
- Nana (9/5): Superb -
- Graham (6/5): Aneeki met our needs and was an enjoyable communal experience. Needs maintenance. - Nice setup and design, everything comfortable. Hosts were friendly and relaxed, always helpful and not intrusive. They were quite new and were trying to deal with the maintenance issues - so not their fault. Many things were worn and broken - eg in our short time - leak in two places in the kitchen, tap coming out of the sink, exhaust fan switch not working meaning it was always on (loud). Window winder handle fell off in our bedroom.
Some instructions on how to use the dishwasher (cycles/switches etc) would have been helpful, and a place to hang teatowels with a clear dirty/clean pile location marked to make sure people are not drying dishes on dirty towels.
- Yani (8/5): Very welcoming team, and owners! Great location, easy to find. We enjoyed our stay. - The pillows.
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, super warm and cozy. Tash and Simon were awesome hosts!
- Sally (10/5): Home away from home - The lodge is a home away from home. Very relaxing and has everything you need. The staff are lovely, very friendly and went above and beyond for our family of four. It is very small and doesn't have much room in the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas. We were lucky that most people left after our first night (Easter was over), otherwise it can feel a little cramped.
- Carol (10/5): - Aneeki had a warm vibe about it.....hosts were very welcoming...comfortable warm beds....lots of food available for breakfast....full kitchen ....great views
- Claire (8/5): Very good -
- Jinky (8/5): Very good -
- Malcolm (7/5): Good - Staff were great kitchen was awesome Car access but no big issue
- Brigid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kylie (5/5): Not comfortable unfortunately - Managers were friendly and accommodating when required - The rooms are cramped. Barely place to put luggage when using all beds.
- Bedding needs to be updated. Our beds were hard and uncomfortable, quality of linen poor, pillows need updating. Top sheet would be nice. Beds/ rooms just felt old. It made for a pretty uncomfortable sleep.
- The place seems like it needs a good deep clean. Bad odour in kitchen and bathrooms.
- the climb from the village to the lodge is steep and gets a bit much if you have to do a few times a day which most people do.
- the free breakfast is basic. I threw out mouldy bread/ some of the fruit was old.
- while it is one of the cheaper places in Thredbo, it doesn't mean it's cheap for what you get.
I hate writing reviews like this but when you can't wait to leave to get to a clean and comfortable next stop, it's not good.
- Andrew (7/5): Good -
- Art (9/5): Superb - Great hosts, really looked after us. Cosy living room to relax in after our run. Large kitchen with free breakfast to keep us fed.
- Darryl (10/5): - Great property. Lovely hosts. Would recommend
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brook (7/5): Good -
- John (9/5): Great stay, warm and welcoming - Impeccably clean, rooms comfortable and lodge cosy and warm. Hosts are welcoming and attentive and all facilities are well maintained.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Jake (10/5): - Hosts we’re wonderful sweet people, made us feel at home and the fireplace is unreal, views from our room were great really warm cosy place too stay
- Julian (2/5): - Never been in a room so small, fell like in a jail I think
- Jeff (10/5): Fantastic place, great location, clean, warm and friendly, helpful staff. - Fantastic stay, the lodge was very clean, great location, we had a excellent time and will definitely go back. Thanks to Sandie and Matt, appreciate your efforts.
- Sam (8/5): Great stay at a great price. - Aneeki Ski lodge is located in a great location in Threadbo. The buses come right past the door to pick you up and drop you off after a day skiing. The lodge is warm and well set up for living, The drying room is great and works well fits all your gear. Entry is a bit tricky when there is heavy snow falls but this is to be expected. Drop off and pick up of luggage was a little frantic with only one park available.
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joshua (5/5): Passable -
- Kirstie (9/5): Will be back - Spotlessly clean and warm with a fire going all day. Sandie and Matt were lovely hosts and so helpful. They even bought my daughter some pencils and paper to colour with when they restocked their supplies. Juice, milk, tea, coffee, fruit, cereal and toast supplied for breakfast. Bus stop 50m away. Stunning views from the balcony. Comfortable lounge. Kitchen had everything you need. Sadly no parking onsite! But totally ok as the bus dropped me next to the overnight parking and Sandie and Matt helped me with my things when unpacking the car (I could park in a neighbours driveway to unload) - I was travelling alone with a toddler.
- Cullen (9/5): Great location and very friendly hosts. - Great location and very friendly hosts.
- Lesley (9/5): It was a great homelike Lodge very comfortable very clean. And the hosts were incredibly helpful. - Sandy and Matt are wonderful hosts. We had a great time. And we felt very much welcome and at home. I would happily stay here again It’s not something that could be changed. But I did feel the bedrooms were a little bit tight. But there are plenty of spaces to sit outside of your sleeping room. So overall it wasn’t really a problem. We probably had too many bags. I would limit what you take. If you can.
- Alison (7/5): Nice place - The fire and Ian our hosts. Hot shower and clean kitchen. The room was very cramped for three of us in a room.
- Min (10/5): Great value cosy place - We made our journey late to the lodge and arrived past midnight. Ian the lodge manager left some instructions on a map to show us where we can park that night as street parking is limited. We really appreciated this as we were exhausted while having to unload our luggages.
The lodge was clean and cosy with a great little balcony to enjoy the view. The kitchen was also organised making it easy to grab some toasts or cereal. Possibly inform guests that towels are not provided so they can pack ahead.
- Joe (10/5): - Ian the manager was awesome and the property nice and relaxed.
- Liz (9/5): Wonderful accommodation for our family of 5 - Very clean, welcoming, clear instructions, friendly manager

- Zhang (10/5): will be coming back ~~~ - excellent location, nice view and great managers:)) NA
- Seamus (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (5/5): Passable - Hard to load and unload car
- Art (4/5): Not acceptable in particular given the cost I guess that’s Thredbo now - Snow Access unsafe, room cramped and unclean, staff intrusive and rude
- Áriam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabella (10/5): Sandie and Matt went above and beyond for us. - Sandie and Matt manage the lodge and are very welcoming. This stay was very comfortable and the common areas were a great place to get to know other people and hear about all the activities they got up to during the day. 10/10 stay.
- Charlotte (7/5): Good -
- Qun (9/5): Like the homely feeling of the lodge and will be back. - There are good choice of breakfast and fruits and very-well stocks of kitchen utensils. The lounge room with wood fire are very comfortable with beautiful mountain views. The staff (Sandie and Matt) are very friendly and helpful. The room is a bit small for a family of us four.
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- Melanie (10/5): Cosy, clean and comfortable lodge with great hosts - Great location, clean and very comfortable rooms, Sandie & Matt were the best hosts ever! The place was very cosy and we had such a great time! -

- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts Matt and Sandie are absolutely amazing people! Made our stay in Kosciusko!
- Maria (8/5): We really enjoyed the Interschools sporting event, it would be great if stay was cheaper - The bushwalking, cleanliness of the area. Staff friendliness. The staff at the bike workshop where amazing and helpful. Staff at the mountain biking hire shop amazing as well. Medical team and care amazing too. The high cost of everything, food at pub ridiculous portions for what you where paying. Limited activities option if you where not mountain biking or bushwalking.
