• Carleen (8/5): A great place to stay! - Wonderful big room with 2 double comfortable beds! A kitchenette, coffee pod machine ❤️ and a bath with jets! The car was parked outside our door and we were on the bottom floor so we did not have to deal with stairs, but there are, so ask or request a room if this an issue. No overpowering fragrances or cleaning products. It was a fabulous place to stay and the value for money for both nights were appreciated. The meal was delicious, as I was craving vegetables, so I had the roast, and I “inhaled” it. Book a table as they get busy. Only a couple of downsides. The front of the room is right near the hotel parking on the road and footpath, so when a few people had had a few drinks and getting back into cars it was disturbing. Plus keep curtains closed for privacy. Plus only internet TV channels and one night (we stayed 2 nights) the reception was terrible. Guest car park is accessible to the passing public which just made you wary. There is a sign to NOT leave anything valuable in your car for the attention of guest.

• wayne (10/5): One of the Best . - Everything😃 !!!, very large rooms , very comfortable beds , absolutely spotless clean rooms ,! a large tv , very secure ,and so quite for sleeping , absolute value for money , great location ! ,coles and woolworths a 2 minute walk , the port a 10 minute walk , and right next door to the beautiful Caledonian Hotel run by Dave and his amazing staff ! who will serve u up a really cold beer and a great menu ( the food is beautiful ) everything is served up with a genuine smile 😄 a really great, friendly atmosphere , and in the morning ,and all day they have a converted drive through / walk up Coffee , hot food , bar that has the best coffee and food in Echuca ! the bacon /egg rolls are delicious and the hamburgers with the lot are to die for !!!!! I am sure everything else is on the same amazing level , and all this just a 10 metre walk from your motel room , i cant recommend the Caledonian hotel , and accomodation highly enough !!!!!! Wayne . Comfortable enough (other than the slamming door). A slamming door immediately outside my room was beyond annoying, particularly after 10pm.

• Kerren (5/5): Great valve for money staff are always really lovely. - We like the accommodation at the Caledonian Hotel in Echuca , as it is close to town and always clean & comfortable. We also use the restaurant which is attached to the hotel and the meals are always lovely. We always stay at the Caledonian Hotel in Echuca , but this time we stay there was no hot water, apparently to hotel was having issues with it hot water system. In which we both had a cold show bit unpleasant.

• Barbara (10/5): Perfection personified! - Felt welcome from the minute we got there. DAVID the manager or owner could not have been more hospitable and made us feel so welcome. The room was bright, spacious and very comfortable, more than we could have hoped for. The staff knew who we were and that we were not just having a meal but we were staying with them . It is a long time since I stayed in a motel and felt more at ease and at home. At every turn David spoke to us and ensured our needs were meet. We dined with them and the meal excelled all expectations. It’s long time since I can say 10 out of 10 is not enough.! Absolutely nothing!

• Wayne (7/5): Good if your on a budget. - Central location with good food onsite. Good water pressure and nice shower...although old style over bath. Very big rooms with balconies back and front. Parking outside of room was great. Friendly staff but bottom line... its budget accommodation! The beds were very uncomfortable...basically you could feel the springs and it gave me a backache after the second night requuring pain medication. In fact I slept on the floor on night 2. Also no free to air TV available...just streaming services to login to. No wi-fi link was supplied at checkin and no room compendium.

Fully equipped coffee machine, microwave & comfie chairs for watching tv! Location was great! A tad noisy in the morning, just truck noise as there is a Big W carpark on one side & road on the other! There was also no hairdryer, even though it was listed in the room ammenities??

• Williams (8/5): Overall it was great and the kids loved it .We will be back - The Location was great .It was right opposite the Coles and short distance from the Echuca Port . The Town of Echuca is shut after 6:00 PM with very few eateries and only Pizza ,Mcdonalds and all things Junk .

Asked for a ground floor room, which I got although didn't require a disabled room, but thank you. Nothing really. Nothing really. Big shower, plenty of hot water, two queen beds, very good mattresses and clean linen, parking at the door and thus no complaints from us

A total of $1800 dollars used from my credit card straight after giving my cards details on check in time without my knowledge. This transactions were all external, nothing by this hotel. I believe someone shared my credit card details. I never had this happen before.

• Cleaver (9/5): Wonderful hotel with big, clean, great value modernised rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. - We arrived early and they checked us in with a smile anyway. It was a great pub with good looking meals, great beers, really friendly staff and a lovely big renovated clean room with a great bed, parking at the door and a fantastic little kitchenette so that you could have a coffee without having to wash your cup in a bathroom sink. We did lose our park near our door when we went out for a bit but that is minor.

Whilst the room was reasonably priced & clean, the beds were more than firm & the pillows have definitely seen better days. Food in the restaurant was average pub fare but way too expensive for what was on offer. Most mains run to $35.00 plus for a protein plus copious amounts of chips or basic veg as accompaniments. It seems they're delivering basic bistro fare with a city restaurant price tag
