Guest Reviews
- Kinney (8/5): Covenient for our need for the night - Restaurant and cafe near where we were staying made it easy to get meals. Staff were very polite. Clean and tidy room. A little noisy in the middle of the night with trucks waking us up.

- Jinhua (8/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): - The view was spectacular the beds were unbelievable

- donald (9/5): Very enjoyable. - We didn’t have breakfast at your restaurant. The location was very convenient to all the restaurants and shops. There was a thumping noise at night , it sounded like a pump house.
- Thomas (9/5): Very comfortable stay - Room was comfortable and cleam Bathroom design.Needs door where wash basin is located for more privacy.Bin inthe bathroom would be great.
- Lindy (5/5): Usually we live our stay there, this time too close to the carpark. $315 for a bad nights sleep, not - The location was not good. Not only did we get all the traffic noise but we were awoken to a car alarm going off in the main carpark at 3am. Not being near the main carpark.
- Michael (1/5): - They asked for money after already paid the room , in case I damaged it , I dont damage rooms and they are insulting . Just dont go there , they are expensive and the rooms are average at best .Poor value for money.
- Craig (5/5): The complex is nice but it's like the accommodation was an afterthought - Not much. Take your bags into reception thinking I go to my room from here only to put bags back in the car and drive to where my room is. Where you park outside your room, key doesn't unlock door and have to walk even further. No room service. Restaurant you have to walk even further. Sorry just tired at the end of day.

- Ross (6/5): the location is great for us when we come to Cromwell. - the location was grea close to where our family live Its a bit dated and tired, we had to walk a long way to our room, including stairs

- JOanna (10/5): Great comfortable, clean hotel - good location in Cromwell, friendly team members. - The cafe attached to the hotel was fantastic, great coffee, great food, bright and airy and very friendly staff. Nothing all good.
- Carla (8/5): Good but could be excellent! Fabulous view! - Great location, easy to find and lots of parking. Room was as it said on the tin, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a fabulous view of the mountains. Receptionist was very welcoming. Bar on site was good too. There was nothing wrong with the hotel, but there were things that could have been better. Obviously in a transition stage of re branding.
A bin and make up mirror in the bathroom would be nice, as would abit more generosity on the toiletries side, instead of tiny eco sachets, maybe some nice locally made cosmetics.
The same with the coffee and teas. Only one freesh RObert Harris coffee bag, when my partner requested another he was given 3 tiny sachets of Moccona and not the coffee bags. The milk is the uht pods, but with a fridge, a small bottle of milk would be a lot nicer, as other hotels are now doing. Only a small thing, but it does make a difference, no tray to make your drinks on so you are left putting your dirty utensils on the table top and there was no bag in the waste bin, which you also have to put your bathroom waste into as well.
A bit more attention to detail and my review would be reading excellent.

- Heather (8/5): A good place to stay which is central to eateries. Has a great view, easy parking - Clean, tidy and central.
Lovely view.
Restaurant is well worth a visit. Unfortunately no privacy between units on balcony.
- McFarland (9/5): Ver relaxing - Room was massive with a great view and bed was super comfy Tv was not a smart tv which was odd. We asked for a bath but our room only had a shower and for the first two days we were only given a few sheets of toilet paper

- Kim (10/5): Family Accommodation for Wedding - We cannot recommend the Harvest Hotel highly enough! My family and I stayed here for my wedding in Bannockburn, and it was the perfect location.
From the moment we arrived, Michelle, Claire, and the entire team were absolutely amazing hosts—warm, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our stay stress-free and memorable. They went above and beyond to support us throughout the wedding period.
Our rooms were perfectly located: two side-by-side ground floor rooms with French doors opening onto a shared patio, with parking immediately outside. This setup made unpacking and packing the car for various wedding tasks incredibly easy and created a lovely, relaxed family environment with the shared patio space.
The rooms themselves were spacious, spotless, and beautifully presented—exactly what we needed given the amount of wedding coordination involved. Having enough space for dresses, suits, and even hair and makeup on the morning of the wedding made a huge difference. The cleaning team were also incredibly considerate, working around our schedule so everything ran smoothly.
The on-site restaurant and café were fantastic, and the hotel’s location is ideal—just a short walk to the main shopping area with plenty of additional cafés and restaurants nearby.
Thank you to the Harvest Hotel team for helping make our wedding stay so comfortable, seamless, and special. We will always associate this hotel with wonderful memories and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others!

- davidsX8100OT (10/5): Lovely setting to a large room - Lovely hotel with a large room.
We were able to check in quite late but when we phoned ahead the hotel staff asked us to be there by 10pm instead of 10:30pm when they shut.
Also nice little breakfast place next door.
We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment.
- András (8/5): -
- Elena (8/5): - Geräumiges und sauberes Zimmer und Bad inklusive Kühlschrank. Leider unverhältnismäßig teuer
- Danielle (10/5): -
- Jo (10/5): -
- Lee (8/5): - Small bathroom with awkward door to toilet
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Mehdi (10/5): Excellent Hotel - Very friendly staff. Good mattresses. Excellent water pressure.
- Claire (10/5): Exactly like the photos - Lovely location - beds were amazing and so great to have two king beds Need more chairs for outdoor patio

- Tambongco (10/5): -
- Johannes (7/5): - Lovely village the hotel is located at.
Great front desk staff. A bit too out dated for the charged price.
Very poorly soundproofed rooms.
On a basement terrace one receives all the dirt from the first floor balcony because of the poor floor construction. One hardly can't sit outside.
- Sharon (10/5): Superb Stay - The whole place was immaculate. Lovely large room with doors to small patio and garden. Great shower and comfy large bed. Staff very friendly. Super cafe next door serving excellent breakfasts Nothing to dislike
- Paul (9/5): Comfortable and restful. Cafe open at 6am which saved me rushing - Cafes and restaurant attached, N/a
- Joshua (9/5): Great place to stay in Cromwell - Good place to stay ample parking if you have a larger than normal vehicle. Secure and safe with excellent on-site bar and restaurant. They cook an excellent rib eye steak.

- Bruce & Wendy (9/5): Great location, priced accordingly for the room size. - Great location, lovely view of the snowy mountains - handy to what we needed to do in Cromwell. Room was huge. Bed a little hard and room was roadside, so heard most of the traffic during the night and the trucks leaving in the morning.
- Melissa (9/5): Beautiful hotel - I had such a nice big room, with huge bathroom and comfy bed. Also the cafe there was great, loved my morning coffee each day. The view towards the mountains covered in snow was just divine to look at. There was nothing I didn’t like
- Macdonald (10/5): -

- Mark (10/5): - Good sized clean room, with nearby restaurants
- Steven (10/5): -
- Peter (8/5): - Good comfortable room and bed. Good location. Good cafe attached. Restaurant that is also attached is adequate but for me the menu needs an update
- Steven (10/5): -
- Hilary (10/5): We will go back for another stay - Comfy beds, good shower power, comfy chairs and I could sit with my legs up on a pouffe. Tasty breakfast at the Cafe. Real milk instead of UFT would be nice.
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Cflorent (10/5): Massive room and great views - Wonderful place to stay.
Staff are amazing.
Huge room with great views over snowy mountains.
Restaurant at the pub downstairs had great meals.
Must say best mattress I’ve ever slept on.
Didn’t have breakfast but got a fantastic ham and cheese toastie and coffee from the cafe
- Cathy (10/5): Great staff, food and beautiful room - Beautiful food and room. Nothing

- Lemon (8/5): Very good -
- Argie (9/5): Superb - Great location.

Clean and comfortable
Beautiful views.
- Robbie (9/5): Enjoyable stay. Will definitely return. Good value for the money. - Location was good. Facilities on offer were great. Great food. Staff were courteous and friendly. Room was warn and cozy (it was 0deg outside) well appointed and spacious.
- Martha (8/5): Very good -
- Joshua (9/5): Obvious choice for Cromwell - Really good restaurant and bar, nice friendly staff and warm clean rooms with modern bathrooms.
- Janice (7/5): Good -
- Sunny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rena (10/5): Exceptional - Location, view, restaurant No aircon room was hot overnight
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jody (9/5): Superb -
- Lesley (4/5): Average, no fntastic view, car had to park some distance from the room. - The manager did not help the receptionist when she had trouble with the booking although the receptionist went 3 times to ask for help
- Andy (3/5): Good food and location. Poore room. - It was quiet I made the mistake of entering the open door from the car park. Could not find the light switch. The room was overly large, somewhat wasted space. The bathroom was poor. Odd and not functional towel rack. Poor shower. Poorly positioned and very small TV.
- Kevin (9/5): Superb - Room cold no electric blankets
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charisse (8/5): Very good -
- Andy (8/5): - The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was because, despite each room having its own Wi-Fi connection, all the Wi-Fi passwords of the rooms were the same.
This enabled another guest to hack into my laptop, & send a scam to all of my email contacts, resulting in a massive hassle the following day which caused truckloads of sh#t to hit many fans.
I was not happy & it resulted in my wife & I not having the time to see many of the sights in Cromwell, as it took so long to sort the issue out.
It effectively wrecked out Cromwell experience
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- PETER (6/5): Not so sure - Map of how to get too room is confusing, old manual keys to get in to Hallways then doors all the way down the long hallways to find room.
Rooms noisy, could hear other doors being slammed closed quite often.
The place seems to be in need of a refurb.
I asked where the laundry was, and lady said oh sorry we don’t have laundry any more, so I said well you need to update your ad because we planned our trip around needing to do Laundry at this place, and I see they still haven’t updated their ad.
The Pub/Bar restaurant was fantastic!
- Vanitha (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (7/5): Good - They obviously did not change towels unless you asked them to if you stayed 2 nights. Seemed to think my request for fresh towels on the second day was not normal.
- Jessica (6/5): Pleasant -
