- Melanie (8/5): - The staff were AMAZING. We, 2 couples, were travelling for a wedding, that they men were in the grooms party for. They were kind enough to let the grooms party park their parks for a moment so we ladies could help with button flowers and fixing up the car ribbons. Even though this caused a problem for another guest, the staff were still incredibly lovely about it. It was a very convenient location also, and very easy to find.

It was quaint but very basic. It was good for the price.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, I was very much at home for my two days and had a lovely stay. I arrived early and they let me into my room before check in time which was marvellous when I'd walked from the station with suitcase. Loads of channels on the TV, plenty of tea and coffee etc, it was great!

We reported shower problem . Positives were proximity to shops clubs restaurants etc plus couple flat kilometres walk to beach , bed was very comfortable

Our room was in a different location to the main motel, and they gave us very clear directions to find the entry later in the night when we arrived and the office was closed. The room was really spacious and had space for me to work without interrupting my partner who was sleeping in the other room.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - We stayed one night at the Windmill Motel. The motel is well located. The staff were extremely busy when we arrived so a very basic check in. The room was a good size however the shower head had a problem staying up & required you to hold it on order to use it.

As others have mentioned bathroom was unusual in that there was no vanity or sink, however it did not bother me having to use the sink it the room. The room and bathroom were quite dated, but everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if I needed to.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - When I booked I realised it was a basic motel. WE only needed it for one night. WHen we arrived the room was small but adequate. We had a function to go to so we left. when we arrived back at around 10'30, our car space was taken and the car park was full.. We didnt know whar to do, there was no reception open. A few minutes later a group of men came down from the street and got into their cars and left. We went into our room, the beds were not very comfortable but the problem was the pillows. They were very soft and worn. Also I wanted and extra blanket, they were not big enough for the bed. One was baby size.. IT was hard to sleep as the light outside the room was shining in even even with the curtains closed. We woke very early and opened the cupboard to make coffee. It smelled bad and it primates into the jug. We got dressed and left.

- ian (8/5): Good basic clean hotel. 1970s style - We wanted a hotel in the general area of Thirroul, we got one. The hotel is functional, dated but clean and gets noise from the Princes Highway and surrounding buildings. The price is adequate for the hotel.
