I greatly appreciated the response I received from Diamond beach holiday park from the start of our booking. They were very helpful and very prompt in responding. The park facilities were well maintained and very clean. Our cabin was very good and clean as well. We had a great time and looking forward to visit again.

• Sidony (6/5): Not worth the cost. - The location is lovely. Beautiful beach. Pool is fun. The cost is exorbitant. Not even in the peak of summer holidays is it worth the cost. We paid $500 a night for one small bedroom, one tiny bedroom and a cramped kitchen. The photos were very deceiving. The tv remote didn’t work, and the screen was broken so you couldn’t see what channels were available. The wifi didn’t work so we couldn’t connect our chrome cast. The air con was so loud it sounded like a truck was in the room. We have stayed at a lot of caravan holiday parks and mostly they are run down and not perfect, which is fine, it’s great for making the most of family fun. But if you’re being charged for prime accommodation the least you should expect is wifi, a working tv and air con that can be used without causing headache. It’s unacceptable. The property didn’t offer anything to match the value. Sadly as we are a working family and this was our big holiday. Normally we wouldn’t complain but I felt it was completely unfair and the property should be a bit ashamed to charge people for what they are simply not offering.

There is a pool that you can relax in, the beach is easily accessible from the park itself, you have the games room with table tennis etc. The cabin we stayed in was clean and looked amazing (also has air con). The staff are friendly and greeted us the minute we got to reception and gave us directions on how to get to our cabin. 10/10 will definitely be back 😀

• Erin (10/5): A Diamond place to stay - Our cabin was perfect, however I struggled with the stove top. Some instructions might’ve helped. I'm not a fan of glass top cookers. Everything we needed was provided. It was quiet, however it was a week day stay, so could be different weekends & holidays. Easy walk to the beautiful beach. Sea was a bit rough for me but easy walking by the shore. Used the pay BBQ. It was clean and the $ 1 lasted for over 20 minutes. What else can I say? Didn't want to leave, and would be happy to stay again. Thanks kylie & Scott you run a tight ship. I'm not a fan of glass top stoves/cookers.

• Rhys (9/5): Fantastic holiday park with pool area, play area and right on the beach. Very nice cabins perfect for groups! - Spacious and clean cabins right in front of beach access. Beautiful little beach towns and quiet area with a new cafe. The BBQ grill on the cabins was very new but also quite small. The communal BBQs were also very small and cost extra. Just had to cook food in batches.
• Renee (10/5): Will be rebooking very soon ☺️ - Stayed for the long weekend. Great to see the extra efforts put in for families around the park. This includes but limited to the jumping castle, ice-cream truck, movie night. I have loved our stay an will be the first of many getaways to DBHP, just my two kids and I. We were not able to use the pool the first day. That was no one’s fault though so no points deducted! And also we tried to go an hire a putt at 3pm on Monday but the office was closed. Not to worry there was plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained.

I think the confirmation booking form should have a note about guests who travel to the Park form North and using google maps not using Old Soldiers Road as it is a dirt track, but continuing on the highway til the clearly signposted turnoff to Diamond Beach
• Ian (4/5): Disappointing for the price. - We liked walking on the beach which was quite impressive but actually has nothing to do with the park apart from a path that leads from the property to the council beachfront. The price was way too high for the accommodation. We have paid much less for a cabin further north that had king sized bed, an ensuite as well as a full bathroom and much larger living space. The mattress on the bed in the second bedroom was very thin and the slats could be felt underneath.

• Kylie (10/5): Excellent for families - The facilities are all modern and extremely clean. The baby bathroom is the most fantastic idea I have seen and absolutely accommodating to families of young children. The cabins were clean and well appointed. Great beach access from 2 points. Lots of things to do around the park including mini Gold, tennis, ping pong, basketball, cricket and a games room for wet weather play. The only thing we found was after rain the entrance to the play area flooded making it difficult to get into for little legs.

Airconditioning in main living area, ceiling fan in 1 bedroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms on the smaller side. Dish washer would have been handy, but not essential.
