• Joanna (9/5): Friendly, affordable, well located - Very welcoming hospitality during our short stay, we enjoyed ourselves and the accommodation is very clean and comfortable. The bed was fantastic we slept so well and although the room is small we didn’t feel too cramped. The in-room tea coffee, toaster etc. facilities were perfect. Our room had an updated bathroom and the shower was excellent. The amount of work that has gone into updating this facility is massive and obviously still ongoing with lots of exciting new features under construction. There is also a communal kitchen which would be perfect for self caterers. Thank you again for making our trip so enjoyable.

• Sue (9/5): A comfortable stay and good value for the price and the facilities provided. - We stayed in a Queen room which had been renovated and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable, the room smelt pleasant and there was a good area to prepare a light breakfast. Elizabeth has done a wonderful job in bringing the property up to date with lots of new facilities for guests. My only suggestion would be to resurface the courtyard carpark so as to avoid bringing grit in to the clean rooms, after it rains (apologies if this is already on the works). The mat outside the room wasn’t very effective at cleaning the soles of shoes.

• Julia (9/5): A wonderful stay in the Barossa Valley - This is a small, family-owned motel with a very peaceful atmosphere. The owner is amazing, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Due to major delays on our tour, we only arrived around 1am, but everything had been perfectly prepared for us in advance. The team messaged us clear instructions and even left the light on in our room, which made us feel so welcome after a long and exhausting day. We were also greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine, which was such a thoughtful gesture after a stressful drive. The room itself was simple but very comfortable and had everything we needed. The common areas are beautifully designed with a relaxing, aesthetic vibe. Highly recommend for a calm and welcoming stay in the Barossa Valley. Nothing!

• Lauren (9/5): A great option for a trip to the Barossa Valley! - Modern and clean rooms. Nicely refurbished. Easy parking. Good location. Staff super friendly. Lovely little communal area. Looks like a pool is in the works too which will be nice in the Barossa heat! The communal area was a great addition, however was only open during the limited reception hours. We would have wanted to use the pool table in the evening after dinner in the town but could not access. Maybe this could be by swipecard access?

The air conditioning was a lifesaver in the extreme heat, and the room had handy tea and coffee facilities. Elizabeth was lovely, she even put some water and milk in the fridge for us. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay in the Barossa Valley! If I had to be picky, the only thing would be the bathroom sink, was a bit small, and it would have been nice to have a small bench or surface to put things on while getting ready.

The whole room smelt like it had been closed up for a very long time, bad smell when we walked in. The carpet was sticky to walk on. The bathroom was not up to standard. Shower head was so clogged up that you couldn’t even get wet enough to wash yourself so mist was going everywhere and the whole room was wet from it. The basin mixer tap wasn’t fixed down so it made it very hard to turn tap on and wash hands. There wasn’t enough blankets for all the beds and the heater didn’t really heat the room up enough to keep warm. Overall cleanliness was atrocious.

• Kelly (5/5): Very disappointed in our room, be aware,they are not all fully renovated. The cleaning was not good. - It has recently been renovated (though our room was not fully renovated) and has a pool. Liked the palm trees and grape vines on the outside. The cleaning needs some work, there was an empty coke can under my bed, and we had to wipe down surfaces, and asked for our table outside to be cleaned - it was filthy. We used the kitchen, and the bench needed a clean, with dead flies on the windowsill. The pots old and worn. We were not in one of the more fully renovated rooms, we got the one with partial brown panelling. Our bathroom was straight out of the 1950s, pocky and looking very old. The photos of the 'wellness centre' is misleading, it is only open until 5.30pm, which is ridiculous when your out for the day and want to use them after dinner. Also, they charge for the massage chairs, which I think should be free for guests. I can not believe people rated this 10/10, I can only think they had way better rooms than we did. It was a the most expensive room rate during out stay in Adelaide, that includes central Adelaide city and Glenelg.

• Heidi (10/5): Convenient, comfortable, friendly owners and it met our needs perfectly - Loving the updates to this motel. Have stayed before and glad to see the new owners putting such time and effort into the motel. The bathrooms are too small. Water goes everywhere when having a shower and the basin is far too small to use. Everything else was perfect

• Binder (9/5): Definitely a nice place to stay at I would most definitely come again 10/10 - I have actually been to this hotel before they renovated it and I’m so in love with what they did to that hotel it’s very beautiful and comfortable very clean and professional the staff are so nice and welcoming

• gailcK3859IJ (10/5): Barossa Palms - great place to stay! - The Barossa Palms is a retro very comfortable place to stay. It has loads of thoughtful little touches and has a gym as well! Great location and highly recommended.
