- Jenny (6/5): Quick overnight stay to escape the heat - Ok budget accommodation, pool, aircon and wifi. Needed as we had 42° Needs a a couple of new light gloves, and some maintenance on doors and windows

- Ken (4/5): - The property looks pleasant outside and the painting inside is good but the cleaning is atrocious - mouldy tiles in shower, filthy window ledge in bathroom, dirty sink outlet in bathroom, dirty toilet bowl. The are spider webs on windows and curtains, the floor is cleaned only where you can see. Lack of basic crockery. The pillows all smell of stinky sweat.
- Keith (2/5): - Bathroom is dated but acceptable, mattress needed an upgrade and a pillow top would make a huge improvement. The noise from the activities in adjoining rooms woke us from after midnight to 4am when they must have given up from exhaustion. The women sounded like they were enjoying themselves.

- Karin (10/5): - I have now stayed here twice over the easter break as we have a dog show. This place is amazing as its pet friendly. I try very hard to keep the room clean, to ensure that they will always be pet friendly. My dogs are my family and they stay inside our house, so when I go away I want them with us. Staff are very friendly and cannot recommend them enough

- Kim (2/5): - Close to town centre. Room we stayed in rm 30 was dirty and very old. Couldnt shut bathroom window & had a table of noisy men smoking and drinking just outside which filled the room with smoke this went on untill 10.30 at night. The floor of shower had a old bath mat pulled up which left the floor sticky to stand on.Will never stay again. Other rooms must be ok as i checked reviews before booking. Just a suggestion maybe give this room a upgrade before having people stay!

I had opportunities to visit old friends so it wasn't a tourist visit. I think there may have been new air conditioners installed so it was nice and cozy. I also liked that there was no stairs now that I am older!!! I had everything I needed for an overnight stay breaking up the trip from Port Lincoln. Thank you

- Cindy (8/5): Dog friendly and close to all ammenities - Easy to find, close to all ammenities, Woolworths just around the corner. Walking distance to most places of interest. We loved that we could bring our dog and the cleaner made sure we were comfortable and also had a treat for our dog. Very dog friendly stay for extra $15.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - All I needed was a clean, safe place, a comfortable bed and somewhere to make a cuppa and something to eat. That is what Travelway provided except that there was no cutlery - not even a teaspoon to stir my cuppa! Perhaps I should have asked at reception but it was late and I didn't like to bother anyone. It was good to have parking space right outside my door and no stairs to negotiate.

It was easy to walk to Main Street which gave us access to several eating places and a chance to explore the town. The room was clean, the shower and TV worked and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

- colleen (4/5): - We stayed for just the one night on the way down to Adelaide. The motel was very central to eating places. It is a bit dated but I expected that. The room was clean and a reasonable size but needed some general maintenance. The front door was extremely hard to unkey. Also the light didn't work in the bathroom so had to leave the door open to see. The beds were quite uncomfortable too. Maybe we just got a bad room. I can't really comment on the staff as I only saw the desk girl when I checked in and she was quite pleasant.

- Di (6/5): Bed & Shower - I was caught without accommodation in Port Pirie and the Travelway Motel gave me what I needed. Easy access to room with parking straight outside of the door, clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed ,very quiet area and coffee making facilities. all of this at a very reasonable price. the check in was easy and the staff friendly and helpful.
- Aussie Tourist (8/5): Amazing Job under Extreme Circumstances - We stayed here the night of the Sth Australian state wide black out. Power was out from 4pm through to midday the next day. But to our surprise the Restaurant was still open and able to offer 95% of their menu. They also supplied hot water to rooms for tea / coffee in the evening and the morning. A job well done!!

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room had obviously been flooded recently but carpet had not been steamed to get water out. Air conditioner stank when turned on. Fridge so noisy had to turn off to be able to sleep. Block out curtains blocked out nothing. Bed was terrible.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Dirty and overpriced! - We only chose to stay in Port Pirie because we felt our toddler was not going to make it any further. For the price we paid we were shocked at the condition of the room. Within minutes of our toddler running around the room, her feet were black. The carpet was absolutely disgusting. The whole room felt tired, old and dirty and we left as soon as we could the next morning.
