Tv keptwd switching off could not sign into netflix. I requested a Queen bed, they were booked out. I asked if I could get a refund for the 2nd night. I have to go directly who I booked with. But worse of all I gave it to my daughter for the 2nd night as we were there for a tournament and they rebooked our room. What right did they have without making a call to me, So hopefully I get a tefund.

- Ange (10/5): - We came to stay as kids had a concert at WIN Stadium. Perfect 3 min walk to stadium & beach with so many dining options at our door step. Parking was crazy but Wollongong is hard to find parking on any day. Wld be good to be told there is parking available at back when making booking. On check in Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were so clean and beds were super comfy. As for people complaining about late noise - you are staying a pub so that is expected right. Wld highly recommend if in town for an overnight stay

The door for my room should have a peeping hole and a chain at the door. Other than that, I enjoyed staying there. If or when I head down to Wollongong again, I'll be staying there again.

- Steve (2/5): Shockingly loud on-premise nightclub⌠no sleep. - Buried on page was info about 2am close nightclub attached⌠and it was LOUD. I did not see that info, it needs to be made more plain to see. I was not using parking so felt no need to go to the âaboutâ tab. I know this was my fault, didnât try to get a refund⌠I didnât even stay there⌠I booked another hotel, and left by 11:15pm having not even used the bed.

- Fiona (6/5): Earplugs essential - The room was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend earplugs, as stated the hotel is above a busy bar and nightclub which is open until 2am. And you will hear it! The hotel âreceptionâ (if you can call it that) is in the bar itself, so when arriving in the evening with your suitcase bear in mind you have to trundle everything through it. I waited around 20minutes to get checked in as they were favouring the bar over the reception (a tiny spot at the end of the bar) so the more people who wanted drinks, the longer I waited.

- Heidi Anne (6/5): First Impressions are everything - I arrived 15 minutes before check in. I was told if I wanted to check in now, it would cost extra. So I waited the 15 minutes. Reception seems to be only open from 10am.So no luggage minding facilities (I assume), so luckily I had to change my plans last minute and not try to find out. Noise from downstairs didn't really bother me. Rooms are serviced and even the biccies are restocked! Some city hotels don't service rooms now unless you pay extra and forget about the biccies! I doubt I'd stay here again due to reception not being open first thing.

Lots of dining options in walking distance. A dedicated parking lot which is a plus. And a good location.
- Jocelyn (8/5): Not happy with manditroy security payment - The hotel charged me $200 security deposit in normal hotels your credit card details are taken as security but not charged unless required.My sister and I are both elderly and this payment was insulting and unacceptable.To date I have not been refunded.

- William R (8/5): - Booked room for Cold Chisel 50th anniversary at WIN Entertainment Centre. Harp was closest reasonably priced accommodation. Knew that some patrons had noise issues as Harp is a Karaoke venue 7 nights a week until 2AM. Harp makes no secret of this, warns customers and provides complimentary ear plugs. Some reviewers had also said that it is difficult to get to the parking lot at the rear of the hotel. As the date of the concert approached, these negative reviews began to worry me and I considered exercising my free cancellation option and looking elsewhere. However, there was no âelsewhereâ under $500 a night so I decided to take my chances. I expected a poor nightâ sleep with hotel management confirming my belief that the bars and karaoke would be full of concert patrons after the gig. Yes I could hear karaoke but nowhere near the volume mentioned in online reviews. It was just background noise requiring deliberate effort to figure out what the songs were. No need for ear plugs. I fired up YouTube on TV, found a white noise video (breaking waves) and set the timer for 60 minutes. Slept quite well in the very comfortable bed with perfect room temperature. As mentioned in the tick and flick section, staff were great, room was spotless and well equipped, and Google maps (Waze) directed me easily to the parking lot. In the end, great value for money and if I find myself heading to the WIN Entertainment Centre again I would happily stay again.

- Denise (4/5): - I would definitely not recommend staying here if you actually plan to sleep the night! The noise level from the pub below was horrific. This went until 2.30am. The only mention of noise on the Wotif website is "Noise-free guestrooms cannot be guaranteed. Guests may experience noise disturbance due to nearby construction work." It was not until I had made payment that I received an email from Harp Hotel advising of nightclub noise.
