The decor in both the rooms and hotel is stunning - We loved everything , the staff were friendly & courteous, the room was gorgeous and the continental breakfast gave us a wide selection to choose from. The meal at the bistro in the evening was disappointing. The prawn linguini was probably the worst Ive had. The steak was good.

Location can be a little tricky to get back too later at night, but doing a little research on public transport will help.

The Hotel is a perfect location looking out over the city skyline to the bridge which we can travel via ferry to circular key and back. It’s a lovely area to relax. Would definitely stay there again. - Leicester (10/5): Perfect weekend getaway location in Sydney. - Reception lady was extremely welcoming and friendly. I had booked 2 rooms - one for myself and one for my daughter. When she found out why we were there she upgraded my daughter's room to be harbour view as well which was a really nice added touch. We had fabulous meals onsite. The views from both of our rooms were outstanding. Will definitely stay again!! Nothing. It was a perfect getaway in a perfect location with perfect service and amenities!

The continental breakfast was more than adequate. The location next to the Watson's Bay wharf made it easy to hop on ferries to sight see. The air conditioning could be quite chilly. It seemed to have a preset range so it was either a bit too cold or off.

Our room was lovely, spacious and extremely comfortable with a fantastic view over the bay to the city from the little balcony. Brilliant location with lovely beach and park right outside and the ferry only metres away straight to Circular Quay in 20 mins.

- Vendulka (4/5): Had potential but badly under delivered - Great view, location was very nice, room facilities were reasonable Based on pricing and marketing we believed this would be an up market boutique hotel. We even paid extra for the room with a view. What we discovered is that it is really only some renovated rooms above a pub, and the rooms with a view are next to a large beer garden that plays loud techno music all day: from 2pm until very late in the evening (at least on Friday and Saturday - thankfully we only wasted our money there for 2 nights). Staff were unresponsive when we sought to raise the issue at 10:30 on Saturday night, we ended up having to go and find the pub manager who had little interest in the problem but said the music would be done by 11 - in the end it was only turned off at 11:20. Despite getting assurances when we checked out that management would be in touch to discuss and provide a partial refund, repeated follow ups have gone unanswered. This was anything but a boutique luxury hotel experience and definitely not worth the premium price that was being charged. Find somewhere else to stay, we would have had we booked more nights.

- James (5/5): Reconsider if booking on a weekend - The hotel staff were very supportive, kind and helpful. Breakfast and food at the venue were very good. This place has great potential. Harbour-view rooms sit above the hotel’s beach club, and poor sound insulation meant DJ/loud music could be heard in the room until midnight. Disappointing given the price point and the hotels marketing to offer a relaxing getaway.
- Amanda (10/5): Felt like a millionaire - The room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of comfortable chairs. The balcony was small but the view was priceless. The bath view was exceptional. There was plenty of power points for device charging and places for luggage. The location and quality of the buffet breakfast was second to none and easily accessed. Room service was convenient and free. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even though the bathroom was beautifully designed I felt it lacked space and safety rails both in the toilet and shower cubicles, particularly in the shower. The floor tiles were extremely slippery, made worse with soap; and the edge of the bathtub is sharp. Could be an accident waiting to happen.

The air conditioning was broken in our room, so we needed extra blankets. My son’s single bed up in the loft squeaked loud every time he moved. He found it very difficult to sleep.

- Katherine (9/5): Watson's Bay top location - We stayed in the harbour view room for 4 / 5 people on the top floor and the view was just amazing. We all absolutely loved the room (which included a mezzanine floor with 2 single beds, which had plenty of space and seating for 3 adults and a teenager. We appreciated the coffee maker, delicious biscuits, fridge, spacious bathroom and robes. We just loved the location of the hotel. Good parking, delicious fish and chips, right by the ferry, so you could dash out to catch it. Wonderful walks to Parsley Bay and Camp Cove for swimming in the sea, plus the local sea pool. It was my favourite accomodation of our 3 and a half week trip, where we stayed in 8 different places from Port Douglas to Melbourne and in-between. We went to the attached pub one evening and the pizzas were really nice. Didn't love the beer though. We were out and about the rest of the time and tried great pub food on Rose Bay and Brontë. We did really like the breakfast, but it was a little hit and miss what was available depending on what time you went (fruit/pastries/cutlery/dishes etc). It was served in a beautiful room though and the coffees were made to order and were lovely.

- Damir (9/5): Nice place to visit. - Breakfast very little to choose from. Not up to the standard. Will not pay for the breakfast again when I stay at WBH. As guest when I park my car at the property, I expect that car is protected from random people coming to the hotel. On my check out I reliase that someone damaged my car and left me with $2,000.00 damage. Very upset.
- Cake (9/5): - The Location is within metres of my workplace. This enabled me to transition from a work mindset to a recreational mindset quickly. I enjoyed Breakfast served weel and by very polite staff.

Very noisy extractor fan from next doors restaurant very intrusive all day and late into the night. Unable to open windows and enjoy the patio area. A very large crack in the bathroom sink. The bar/restaurant poor service food not great and very noisy.

- Janine (9/5): We love staying here it is relaxing and everything is nearby for a relaxed stay. - The size of the rooms is great and they have a very relaxed vibe. The quality of the tea & coffee and bathroom products is appreciated.

- Kerri (5/5): Not worth it! $450 + that we spent. Perhaps $250 but don't spend anything more. Not worth it! Really - The location and the male receptionist in whom it was his last day. Cheap nasty mattress and pillows. Sheets don't even tuck in. Slow and poor service. Breakfast was extremely lacking and we and we heard others constantly asking for simple things. Spoons, milk, fruit, juice etc. 90% of the staff are 20 year olds who are very interested in each other full of loud talk and laughter but clueless to the customer. It really all comes down to the uncaring, non committed, unavailable manager. No one is managing this place clearly.

- Evelyn (8/5): - Aus dem Loftzimmer 208 schöner Blick auf Sydney und spektakulärer Sonnenuntergang. Grosses Zimmer, mit Wasser, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine und Keksen. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Reception. Gleich an der Wharf gelegen, wo zahlreiche Fähren nach Circular Quay oder Manly fahren. Das Hotel und das Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Der schöne Ausblick wird leider etwas getrübt durch den Lärm aus dem gleich unten liegenden Restaurant.

Have stayed many times however this time in this particular room I didn’t like the pillows, they were fluffy and when you laid on them would go flat very quick. But otherwise love staying here. The pillows on the bed looked nice and fluffy but went flat as soon as we laid on them.

- Morten (3/5): Støj på 72 dB ødelagde desværre vores ophold. - Hotellet ligger perfekt og har den smukkeste udsigt. Personalet er søde og flinke. Vi havde et værelse ud mod vandet på 2 sal. På nabo huset (en restaurant) sidder der en udsugning på taget. Denne udsugning kører fra kl 11 - 21. Vi målte støjen til at være 72 dB når man er på balkonen og 60 dB på værelset med lukket dør. Det ødelagde hele vores ophold. Vi kunne hverken være på balkon eller værelse idet støjen var for kraftig. Sagde det øjeblikkeligt til receptionen, men det er naboejendommen så det kunne de ikke gøre noget ved. Vi føler os lidt snydt, måske hotellet bør nævne der er støj, og endda meget kraftig støj. Morgenmaden er virkelig kedelig, hænger ikke sammen med den kvalitet de gerne vil vise. Rengøring er ikke ok, hjørner, kanter og flader er virkelig støvet, igen virkelig ærgerligt, at man ikke lige gør det sidste, for at værelset ville fremstå lækkert .

- Martin (9/5): Alles in allem sehr gelungen! - Die Lage direkt an der Bucht von Watsons Bay ist fantastisch. Man hat die skyline von Sydney vor Augen. Das kontinentale Frühstück war inklusive und absolut ausreichend, man kann auch warem Gerichte dazu bekommen (gegen Aufpreis). Mehrere Resturants vor der Tür einschließlich das vom eigenen Hotel sorgen für die berühmte "relaxed atmosphere in Ausralia". Parkplatz war ebenfalls inklusive. Durch die Fähre, die Resturants und die vielen Besucher kann es abends noch etwas länger laut sein, aber spätestens ab 23 Uhr ist Ruhe.
