• Gilad (7/5): Great location, young vibes but can feel messy - Right on the ocean and in the city center. Great views from the kitchen area. The shower was good (water pressure). Free gym access. Not enough storage, beds are squeaky, the room is small and can get messy really fast, beds don't have curtains for extra privacy.

The staff were also very helpful during my stay The hostel reception is shut at 7pm which makes it hard to check in after that point. But not a major issue as can still check in, but would be better if reception open till 9/10pm. Also an improvement for the beds would be to install curtains on the bunks for more privacy

• DenSchu (8/5): - Great location right next to the Esplanade. Awesome view from the kitchen and nice walk-in big fridge room to store your supplies. Staff was reserved and seemed a little judgemental towards guests. Dorm beds would be great to get some curtains for more privacy and the lockers under the beds are not really practical.
• Jessica (6/5): Das war wohl nix - - Super zentrale Lage - Bequeme Matraze - Aufenthaltsbereiche waren gemütlich - Personal eher unfreundlich und desinteressiert (besonders die beiden älteren Damen). Gerade in Australien eine Seltenheit! - Die Küche ist auf den ersten Blick gut ausgestattet. Doch die Pfannen sind alt, dreckig, in schlechtem Zustand. Die gesamte Küche wird zwar zweimal täglich geputzt, aber nur oberflächig. Von den ca. 12 Herdplatten gehen vier nicht. Laut Leuten die länger dort wohnen ein bekanntes Problem. Der Kühlschrank ist übervoll mit unappettlichen Lebebsmitteln, die nicht fortgeräumt wurden. - Abfalleimer überquellen, besonders im Frauenbad stank es wegen Hygieneprodukten. - Männertoiletten waren stets dreckig. - Internet ist relativ schwach zu den Stosszeiten. - Das ganze Hostel könnte ein bisschen mehr Service ertragen, es fühlt sich an als würde nur das allernötigste gemacht. Eines der schlechteren Hotels auf meinen vielen Reisen.

• Ellen (8/5): Ein guter Ort für ein zwei Tage - Das Hostel liegt zentral an der Esplande, so dass es Abend entsprechend laut ist. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und Balkon. Das war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Bett ist bequem. Man konnte zwar nicht eher einchecken, aber dafür das Gepäck an der Rezeption stehen lassen… für ein zwei Nächte vollkommen okay. Mir waren die Grundgeräusche zu viel, zu dominant. Die Klimaanlage war laut, aber mit offenem Fenster konnte man leider auch nicht schlafen.

• Manuel (9/5): Genial ubicación en Cairns. - El alojamiento es un hostel más enfocado a gente jovén. Por lo que siempre hay jaleo en recepción y en la cuarta planta, donde están las cocinas y la zona de estar, pero de noche no sientes ni un ruido. La ubicación es excepcional, en frente de la Lagoon y muy cerca de todo lo que necesitas para pasar unos días en Cairns y disfrutar de la Gran Barrera de Coral. El uber ten recoge al lado. A partir de las 7 de la tarde cierra y puedes entrar con la llave por una puerta a cualquier hora. Lo tienen muy bien montado. Nosotros nos alojamos en la habitación privada y muy bien, el baño muy amplio. Lo único que podríamos decir es que no cambian las toallas ni nada pero bueno en un hostel juvenil es normal, ellos tienen para lavar la ropa y todo eso. No tenemos nada que decir, si volviéramos a ir, volveríamos a alojarnos.

• Victoria (8/5): Well equipped hostel with a nice vibe - Awesome location with rooftop dining. Cleaning done daily in rooms and twice daily in main areas. Convenient spot. Free external gym access (although limiting timing) Didn’t have any quiet areas for working/ tables for laptops. I had some unclean/ late night girls in my room. Overall a great hostel, I think I’m just getting too old to share a room.

I only stayed for 1 day but I still managed to sunbathe by the public pool, walk to the ferry for a tour, and enjoy the atmosphere in the evening. The staff were very helpful and even assisted me in arranging a taxi for 4 a.m., which I really appreciated. I also loved the interior — everything felt new and nicely designed. The kitchen with a terrace was very pleasant, and there was a TV area where people gathered to watch movies. I also liked the cozy and aesthetic common spaces with sofas in the corridor, which made it feel very comfortable. One downside was that if you arrive late, you need to call to reach reception. Unfortunately, I didn’t have signal or Wi-Fi at that moment, and it was nighttime. Luckily, some people came out of the building and helped me by making the call. Also, the bed sheets had some stains.

The location and rooftop and kitchen facilities were all exceptional - The location was great and the rooftop area was standout with wonderful views and a nice lounge area to relax or work from. The kitchen facilities were also some of the best I’ve seen in a hotel I think that the cleaning could be to a higher standard. Curtains should be installed on beds. If you are on the top bunk the bright light until later in the night when it is switched off is troublesome

• Agnieszka (9/5): Global - Świetna lokalizacja, miły personel. Kuchnia powinna działać od 6.00-22.00. Niestety czasem mimo podanych godzin rano była zamknięta. Jest to niedopuszczalne zwłaszcza w sytuacji gdy ma się zaplanowane wcześniej wyjście o kuchnia jest otwarta dopiero przed 7.00.
