• Lucky Phil (9/5): - Location is superb, loved walking up to the Blow hole and watching the sun rise each morning, then grabbing a coffee at the restaurant on the way back down the hill to the cabin. It's also only a short walk down to the main street and the shops and pubs etc. and close to the train station if you're traveling there by train or using the train for a day trip whist on your stay. The cabin was great, really enjoyed the sitting out on the verandah, it was a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the harbor and out to sea. We parked at a new car park that made access to our cabin easy, but the location could do with better lighting and security systems put in place as your vehicle is located outside of the cabin's boundary's and in the general council park that surrounds the site.
• Colin (9/5): Our new favourite place - Great spot to get away for a few days. Cabins are quiet and well kept. Being so close to the Blowhole was great too. Got up each morning to see the sun rise over the water. Pretty awesome views. Staying for as long as we did, having fresh towels within that time would have been nice. In saying that, I am sure had I gone to reception, some would have been provided.

Need to have blockout curtains in the bathroom because there is no door to close from bathroom to bedroom and the light is bright from sunlight in morning The door from the bedroom to the main living room was not working, one half of the sliding door was broken or off its hinges.

Might as well just had cardboard. The springs pocked you in the back and any small movement rocked the bed. no cots were avaliable forcing us to cosleep. This can he a easy fox for the hotel if they just buy a few portable cots

The location was perfect and so easy to enjoy everything on foot from the cabin. When we visit Kiama next we will definitely be staying here.

Walked to fresh fish shop to pick up oysters and prawns. Walked to the markets, the beaches, the bush walks and the blow hole :) The weather. Having said that, even though it rained a bit, that was fun too! Walking in the rain is always beautiful :)

• Jennifer (9/5): I’ll certainly consider these cabins for my next visit to family in Kiama - Lovely location, worked well for our family get together. Our cabin was nicely located to provide both privacy and view. The property was easy to find, and the after hours access was well organised.

Obviously paying for the view but the railing on the balcony was right in our line of site and you could only see the view if standing up. No bathroom door - who wants to watch anyone in the shower - not me.

The blowhole rock pool was our swimming spot and restaurants/ cafes' etc. within walking distance. Travelling out of school holidays, Kiama wasn't too busy. We did think that the price was a bit high. Pretty much out of reach for most families I would think. Maybe only for that one special holiday a year

Fire extinguisher fell off the wall as my elderly friend walked in the cabin, nearly hit her foot. Not safe and doesn’t meet the health and safety rules. UNSAFE. 2. Fridge broken making us move stuff out and put stuff back in when it was replaced. You’re supposed to relax when you’re on holidays . 3. Fan not working in the main bedroom. 4. Windows won’t open in the main bedroom. 5. Cracked tile under the fire extinguisher area. 6. Power tripped on our first night.Tv died, fridge died. Oven not working. 7. Furniture in the second bedroom broken leg . This should be removed, UNSAFE. 8. Reception staff dismissive and arrogant. 9. Tile floors slippery , unsafe. 10. Information given by reception re: internet ( Netflix , prime) access are misleading. There is NO access actually.

• Emma (7/5): loved our stay and would recommend, we would also stay there again if in Kiama. - loved the location, general ease of check in and out, the configuration of the cabin and having it fully stocked with kitchenette and fabulous bbq area overlooking the ocean, it was a prime spot with views to the ocean from the loungeroom windows too. The kitchen also had everything including little fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and stovetop. Great bathroom with spa bath. Comfortable lounge and tv's in both loungeroom and bedroom, doors that can close off to seperate the two rooms. Cool little kids playground right next to the cabin. Everything is in very close proximity for walking to cafes, restaurants and a fabulous fresh seafood store which we loved. The room had extra blankets and was also fully stocked for amenities too. Come across a heap of ants in the cabin (front windows and bathroom cupboards) which we found some insect spray to kill already in the cupboard but it meant needing to vacate the cabin with my little ones for a couple of hours to let the room aerate after being sprayed. We didn't address this with the reception as it wasn't a showstopper, just annoying when you have toddlers. The bed mattress wasn't all that comfy and because it was equip with an electric blanket fitted to the mattress the controls on the sides of the bed were very uncomfortable, but i imagine people staying in winter would enjoy this feature (we stayed in middle of hot summer). The door was also a little tricky to lock & unlock.

Needs a bit of TLC - nothing major - the door handle to bedroom kept coming off and fridge crisper was cracked.

• Michelle (10/5): Beautiful views, clean well equipped cabin, super friendly staff, lots to do in the area. - Clean, well equipped. Lots of power ports including usb.
• Lisa (7/5): A little disappointing but overall a nice place to stay. - Clean with enough supplies provided for a short stay The cabin was advertised as having a sea view but was in fact 2 rows back. A little like paying for a full price theatre ticket but sitting in a restricted view seat! When we raised the issue we were told cabins were randomly allocated if booked through booking.com & they suggested booking directly as a better alternative! Note - Spa room has a bath with jets - not actually a spa!
