• Heather (10/5): A warm welcome in Rotorua - The staff were so warm and friendly sharing tips on things to do and places to eat. The place was very well located and walkable to the both major hot springs spas and the Te Pa Tu Maori cultural experience pick up, as well as many restaurants in town, plus they have their own thermal hot springs on site that you can use. It is a basic motel (nothing fancy) but they keep it very clean and include lots little extras that make it feel special. The value for money is great, which is especially appreciated in these times. Can’t think of anything.

• Kate A (5/5): Centrally located passable motel-type accommodation. - Staff were friendly and enthusiastic, however that did not make up for this being a repurposed concrete block motel-type building from the 70s. For the price, it was not terribly inviting and a grimy bathroom and the towel rack coming off the wall. It looks nicer in the pictures, than reality. Plus, on one day, the room staff left our room door ajar! On the plus side, it is very well located and you can walk to much of Rotorua. There are hot tubs and a good pool. The kitchen facilities were adequate. Quality v price did not add up and bathroom should have been cleaner and in better repair.

Staff was very friendly and let us check in a bit early. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Our room had a very strong sulphuric smell and was off in the corner. Wondering if that was due to third party booking?
• Sridhar (10/5): Family friendly place for overnight stay - All the amenities of a good hotel with lower cost. It has full kitchenette with microwave. Accommodation for 3 people. Clean and well kept. Best for overnight stay. No breakfast but there are breakfast place not too far from the property. No staff on property if you need immediate help at night.

• Linda (10/5): Great stay! - Hotel is in a great location! Less than 5 minutes walk to many restaurants/bars/shops in one direction and the lake in the other direction. I loved their focus on sustainability. We did not get to take advantage of the pool or mineral spa unfortunately, we arrived late our first day and spend the second day touring local attractions. Customer service was top notch. Super easy to check in after hours, and they even followed up with me when I accidentally left a cosmetic bag behind. My only complaint is with myself - I wish I would have planned more time here! Nothing, it was great!!

Die Zimmerreinigung war etwas spärlich. Bei 7 nächten wurde die Bettwäsche nicht gewechselt und Toilettenpapier war mangelhaft aufgefüllt. Sehr hellhörig.

• Lauren (9/5): Wish I could take this accomodation to all my NZ stops. - I was lucky enough to book the suite and it was fantastic. The beds, the space, the location, the facilities. My mum loved the outdoor rock table. I didn’t want to leave. Wish I could take this accomodation to all my NZ stops. Not a lot. Maybe just add a coffee table to the suite lounge room so there could be somewhere to sit your wine.
• Gail (5/5): Great location but horrendous smell. - The bed was comfortable and it was in a great location. The smell in the room was unbearable but not sure where it was coming from because it did not smell that bad outside. It was hard to sleep. The smell in the bathroom which was pretty small was also awful.
• DONG EUN (9/5): - Excellent location. Lots of things within walking distance including lake. The staffs were brilliant and very friendly. Lovely sauna and heated swimming pool. The room held comfortable beds and was super clean. It wasn't just an accommodation, we felt home. I definitely want to stay here again when I revisit Rotorua in a few years time. Nothing really.

• LINDA (10/5): Excellent accommodation and very convenient location! - This was absolutely one of our most favorite hotels during our 2 1/2 weeks in New Zealand. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The rooms were perfect! (we had two). They were well appointed and clean, comfortable (the twin beds were in a separate room from the queen bed so it gave us privacy as a couple could sleep in the queen and the third adult in one of the twins. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom very nice, and the kitchen facilities exccellent. If we ever have the privilege and opportunity to return to New Zealand, Rotorua would be at the top of our destinations and we would DEFINITELY stay at Aura Accomodation. We could walk to really nice and good restaurants for breakfast and dinner, which was super convenient, especially the evening we arrived from overseas, but every night and morning was the same. The staff also gave us good recommendations for a hot springs spa and sights to see, as well as other details. They provided us towels for the spa, which was really helpful!! and also a discount card. Loved this place!!! PS they have a quiet policy so eventhough there were families with small children we were never disturbed at night or even during the day. The two hot springs fed hot tubs indoors could have been just a tad bit warmer. We didn't get a chance to swim in the pool or use the barbeque facilities but I bet they were great.

• Andrew (8/5): A friendly motel in a central location - This is an older motel and although it is looking a little tired in places we loved our 4 nights there. The staff are very helpful, its comfortable and very clean. The location close to the intercity bus terminal was perfect for us. The on site geothermal pools were very popular with guests. A special thank you to Ellen who helped us change rooms during our stay as we were struggling with the stairs. She even carried our luggage downstairs to our new room on the ground floor, extra great service. A power point in the bathroom would be useful

Incredibly friendly staff who are happy to give advice and help you plan your days. Lots of shared facilities like heated mineral pools, outdoor swimming pool, trampoline, and BBQ. A great place for families or solo traveller's looking for a bit more space. If you don't have a car it's a bit far to the grocery, but the simple Kitchenette has the tools you will need. It's a bit older, so the walls may not be spotless, but still charming.
• Christian (5/5): Keine 4 Sterne - Was war gut: die Lage, der Pool und die Sitzbadewanne. Nette Grußkarte. Die Unterkunft ist ein älteres Motel, niemals 4 Sterne, wie angepriesen. Eine 5 bei Booking bedeutet „passabel“. Auch das war die Unterkunft nicht. Die Unterkunft ist einfach schlecht! Da nutzen auch keine Liebesherzen auf dem Cover und ne Grusskarte, ich brauche nur ein gutes Bett, Dusche und ein wenig Ruhe. Gründe für die schlechte Bewertung: die Zimmer sind klein und abgewohnt. Die Küchenzeile und Utensilien sind leider Sperrmüll. Aber on top: wirklich unangenehm war/ist das Bad und die dortigen Möbel - unvorstellbar. Beim ersten Anblick wollte ich das Zimmer tauschen, ging nicht, ausgebucht. Die Übernachtungen waren bezahlt, also auch keine Stornierung möglich. Ich sagte: egal, hier bleibe ich nicht. Ich blieb … hab 3 Bier getrunken - Lakeman IPA, super - meine schlechteste Unterkunft in NZ. Wie hier eine Booking Bewertung über 8 entsteht - Leute ?! Unfassbar.
