- Michael (6/5): A shadow of its past glory. - Loved the scenery and the remoteness of the property. Only surface clean. Toilet needed a thorough clean. Grounds unkempt and gardens neglected. Breakfast supplied first night only. We stayed 3 nights.
- Heidi (9/5): It was a relaxing stay in stunning surroundings. - I loved sleeping surrounded by wildlife, beautiful greenery and lovely birdsong.
I loved sitting on deck reading and then taking a dip in the pool as well and the excellent welcome and support I received from Dan. All good.

The room had everything we needed, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in.
The swimming pool was a fantastic addition for a refreshing dip.
Highly recommended! Thank you!

There was nothing we didn't like.

- Horner (8/5): We are very pleased to have had the opportunity to stay and meet the host .... Dan thankyou - Great spot.... the establishment is a little dated, however a superb place to relax. Staff are incredible. Great pool and spa, brilliant BBQ area, actual units superb with king size bed. Free wifi that actually works exceptionally well. We will be back Our stay wasn't long enough
- john (10/5): Our host Dan was amazing. Made us feel at home with beautiful home made bread and a genuine interest in us as guests. I - Loved the peace and quiet in natural surroundings. Amazing views and sunsets from the veranda. There was nothing not to like. Superb accommodation.
- Anna (10/5): - Dan was amazing, very helpful, and knowledgeable. Beautiful natural surroundings immersed in nature.
- Raven (10/5): - very generous with breakfast and the wallabies roaming around the property was a perfect touch to our little weekend away. I would not recommend going if you don’t like bugs and spiders as you are in the bush and you might get a few visitors in your room. I thought the bed and pillows were a bit uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well but my partner thought the opposite and slept like a baby so i guess it depends on the person
- Dianne (9/5): Well worth the stay. - A Breakfast of fresh baked bread and eggs with butter, jams tea, coffee and a jug of milk plus cereal was more then we expected, but very much appreciated.
Our room was comfortable with a great view.

- Matt (10/5): Relax and unwind - Secluded and peaceful. In a busy life it’s hard to find a place like this and Dan is a terrific host and makes you feel like family. We stay here every year for our wedding anniversary
- Kym (8/5): Lovely relaxed weekend in nature - Relaxed, quiet and serene. Looking out into the bush and beautiful birds singing. So many gorgeous wallabies and their joeys over the entire property. loved watching them.
The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a comfy weekend. Pool and spa seemed a little unkept. Didn’t look clean enough to be inviting.
- Carissa (8/5): -
- JC Eono (8/5): Very quiet and a nice walk through the national park and it is what we were looking for and the host - I like the breakfast but I would have like a couple of sausages or a slice of Beacon with it
- Geoffrey (8/5): - Nice country retreat. Dan was very welcoming. The room was well eqipped, but the internet was next to useless - don't plan on working remotely. Our room was a little dreary, some bright colours would cheer it up. There was a nauseating chemical smell in the bathroom - overzealous cleaning? Loved the wallabies
- June (8/5): An absolute delight in every way - Wild life-tranquility-room-brekkie-
- linda (10/5): - Peaceful quiet bill rooms
- Dean (8/5): -
- Peter (8/5): - Needed more tea and butter.

- Lana (10/5): Great place to stay. - Stayed 5 nights and had an amazing time. Such a beautiful spot with a stunning view. Wild Wallaby’s everywhere. The room was great with a little kitchen. Super comfy bed. Everything you need. A big shout out to Dan the host who is the nicest person you will ever meet. Helpful and takes care of the place. His bread is delicious! Could not recommend this place more! It was to cold during our stay but the spa looked amazing. It’s close to everything but far out enough you feel like you’re in your own place. Loved it!!! Honestly I was great I do not have any negatives
- lanam114 (10/5): Loved it!!! - Stayed 5 nights and had an amazing time. Such a beautiful spot with a stunning view. Wild Wallaby’s everywhere. The room was great with a little kitchen. - Gil (9/5): Superb - Dan the host was terrific! Very friendly and the place is very clean, with all you need.
- Di (10/5): RELAXATION - The complimentary breakfast was BIG & the choices was enough for 2 days brekky. Eggs, oil, butter & a loaf of bread. A jug of milk, 2 bottle of orange juices & ground coffee. Added was 3 choices of cereal including other teas and instant coffee. This was such a delight to see especially after 12hrs drive. We were exhausted so you can imagine the relief we felt when we saw these provisions. Ohh and the communication with Dan was AWESOME!
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (9/5): Quiet, well equipped & comfortable, will revisit if I return to the area. - The location was very quiet and the villa was comfortable. It had almost everything we needed, sitting on the balcony was peaceful and I felt like I was surrounded by nature & calm. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and the aircon warmed the room well. The directions and signage to find the location were very good. I would have liked better lighting in the kitchen area, it was hard to see properly when cooking and washing up at night as the only light was behind. The lounge was also a bit hard and not super comfy. It was a bit difficult to sleep when it started to rain as the noise on the roof was very loud (We were lucky it didn't rain much).
- Stevie (10/5): Dan made our stay - The wallabies!
Dan was exceptional so welcoming and helpful. A bit dated
Wifi not brilliant spped
- Summer (9/5): Country feel with a hot tub - The whole country feel. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Outdoor hot tub was great on a Winters night. Great location & great view from the verandah. Bed was so comfy & the addition of a breakfast basket with fresh baked bed was lovely.
- Raj (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, well organized cabin & Dan Nothing
- Barbara (8/5): Beautiful location. Pity we didn't have the time to explore the surroundings. -
- Gus (7/5): Value for money - Peaceful and quiet Location
- James (6/5): Quite pleasant without being memorable. - None provided Just a touch too far out of town (both of us over 80)
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful retreat among nature.
Breakfast is an added unexpected extra
- Alan (9/5): Highly recommended - comfortable, scenic, Dan is a very helpful host. - We stayed in a ‘luxury suite’. It was actually a 1 bedroom apartment with kitchenette (including small fridge and 2 hotplates), dining table and chairs, settee, armchair and coffee table. It’s spacious, with door to verandah and great view to mountains. There is a large community lounge and dining room, with outdoor and undercover barbecue. Breakfast supplies were great.
We used it as a base to attend a wedding at Albert River Wines, less than 10 min drive. The winery also does a very enjoyable lunch. Can’t think of anything.
- Abbott (8/5): Comfortable and relaxing especially with our little wallaby visitor of a morning. - Breakfast good. Location beautiful. Staff (Dan) very obliging and helpful .
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (9/5): A beautiful, peaceful place to stay. - The location was beautiful, overlooking the valley, allowing for stunning sunsets and sunrises. It's a very peaceful place with wallabies nibbling the grassy field below and some hop up into the garden, close to the rooms. The room was so clean and comfortable with the pleasant surprise of complimentary eggs, bread, butter, milk and fruit juice. We wish we had another day just to enjoy the surrounds of our accommodation. The shower head was a bit difficult to put on a setting that allowed for good water flow.
- Nina (10/5): Can't wait to go back! - Dan, the caretaker, was informative and helpful and has great hospitality Air con could go with maintenance as it can at times be noisy 🤔
- Matthew (10/5): Awesome place - My partner and I love the location and it was so peaceful, so close to where we live, but you felt like you were miles away, Dan the person that first greeted us and was very helpful and polite, down to earth person, I would recommend wallaby ridge retreat to everyone of my friends and family
- John (10/5): Perfect retreat for a quiet getaway. Would definitely stay there again if up that way. - All the breakfast requirements were supplied, even half dozen eggs. The outlook over the hills was amazing, especially at sunset. We had curious wallabies outside our window on the patio every morning. Very quiet location surrounded by bushland. Loved the old world charm and decor with restored furniture, etc.
The host, Dan, was very welcoming and very pleasant to chat with. Nothing that I could think of.
- Jillian (9/5): Just what we were wanting - Private, quiet, neat, tidy
- COLIN (8/5): - Shabby chic - breakfast excellent - a bit too shabby - but comfortable.
- Susanne (10/5): So peaceful with nature and the wallabies The stay was everything I had wished for - Fresh milk and fresh eggs with small loaf of bread and juices were delicious. Easy two hot plates and kitchen ware all supplied , very homely stay and very clean Nothing
- Marcio (10/5): Memorable weekend getaway - We had a great weekend at Wallaby Ridge Retreat! Our host Dan was super friendly and we felt very welcome. The villa has everything we needed and was tidy and clean. The spa watching the sunset was the highlight of our trip!
- Tegan (8/5): Very good - The wallabies and the hot tub.
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
