Maryanne (9/5): Great place to stay! - Very rare to find a cabin with plenty of decent cooking appliances and utensils! Having everything we needed to cook complete meals ourselves was very helpful as we didn’t want to eat out every night. The heating was also very good and having a smart TV was great for chilling out (watching movies etc.) after a big day out. The mattress and pillows are probably in need of an update as they were a tad uncomfortable and aesthetically, the decor is a tad old fashioned.

Elizabeth (8/5): - Lovely traditional cabin style accommodation - reminds me of the Blue Mountains of my childhood. Larger than normal room with kitchenette. Guests also have use of a large communal building with a kitchen, games, books, tv and videos etc. I travelled with my dog, and was made most welcome. For EV drivers, there are two 22 kWh charging points. That was a great surprise.

Demi (10/5): Idyllic and Reasonably Priced - Absolutely loved staying at Cedar Lodge Cabins- so quaint and cozy! The location is great- central yet quiet and the gardens were so picturesque. Very good value for money and so convenient that dogs are allowed.
Helen (6/5): Lots to do. Gardens are beautiful and the view across the valley is lovely. Per friendly🎉 - Very clean; good bathroom; wonderful gardens; great games room. It was pet friendly which suited every one of the visitors who I spoke to; all from Sydney. Great location to look outside in the area and 8 minutes from Blackheath. It was very quiet due to the pass being closed. 1) The Reception area: This is the clients introduction to the site. It needs a radical upgrade. How about some wallpaper with a beautiful nature scene or some wonderful coloured photos of valley scenes in large frames? The gardens are fabulous on site but the reception area is drab. It needs a complete refresh as it is dark and uninviting. 2) This is advertised as self catering: it needs upgrading as some of the cooking amenities are either too old or the necessary containers aren’t provided. Biggest issue for me was the stove. It’s an old electric with 2 hot plates. Very slow to heat and it doesn’t get hot enough to do stir fry dishes. The “oven” was too small. This needs to be replaced with a modern stove. Microwave: No microwave dishes/ containers included which was very disappointing. The decor: it was All VERY clean ✅ but very old fashioned. I am not suggesting the typical highway motel soulless style. You can still keep the cabin look but replace the lace blinds and curtain headers with something simple & modern. The paint colour is drab: yes it goes with everything but you are there on holiday. Some colour would be great.
Tee Dee (9/5): - I have stayed at Cedar Lodge several times with my 2 dogs. The cabins are comfortable and located close to places of interest. Already booked for later this year and hopefully will visit again between now and then.
rosemary (8/5): We loved the cabins and autumn in the mountains. Extra bonus that the hwy is closed so absolutely no road noise. - A perfect place to have a dog friendly holiday in the mountains. The cabin was very warm and comfortable and the grounds are great, perfect for dogs.

Dr Neha (10/5): Easter stay at Cedar lodge cabin - We recently stayed at Cedar Lodge Cabin for three nights in Mt Victoria, and it was just as wonderful as ever. This was our 6th or 7th visit over the past seven years, and it continues to be one of our favourite getaways. The cabins have a beautiful Swedish log cabin feel—warm, cosy, and incredibly relaxing. This time was especially peaceful, as the highway was closed due to roadworks, making the surroundings even quieter than usual. The hosts are always fantastic and thoughtful. A lovely touch this time was the Easter eggs they left for us—our kids absolutely loved them! Overall, it’s a perfect spot to unwind, and we’ll definitely keep coming back.
Jaquitab (9/5): Easter Break with teen - Hot strong showers, comfortable place to relax after a day out. There's a large games room to borrow DVDs, books, play pool or board games. Plenty to do and dine - we did Glow worm tunnel, Zigzag railway, Everglades art deco house & gardens, Mount Vic flicks, and a day fly fishing. Nothing not to like but we weren't sure if the reverse cycle heater was working but the electric fire warmed up the cabin nicely.

Agnes (10/5): Cosy stay with nature surrounding close to sights - We recommend Cabin 8 or 9 (we had 9, it had a spa tub), the view is fantastic! self-contained cabins, kitchenette really nice, veranda cosy to sit outside in the evenings. it can be really cold sometimes, so blankets, heating is provided. there is a large common room with books, games, dvd etc. for rainy days. very quiet, we even had kangarops in the morning as well as parrots, cockatoos. we enjoyed staying. very close to all the sights of the blue mountains. we recommend Silk Thai restaurant in blackheath and all the lookouts. nothing, the pictures on booking.com were old, cabin 9 was really beautiful

And greatly appreciated the late checkout of 12pm instead of the usual checkout of 10am. Cost. Paid for on-line non refundable (after searching for the cheapest option for hours) to only be sent a cheaper price by $75 for the same cabin, very frustrating.

Very helpful and friendly site management. I liked the bird feed cage that birds are free to come in and out of. Net curtains and blinds need a freshen up. More lighting. Outdoor chairs on the balcony need updating. Great, but unused opportunity for an outdoor seating area overlooking the view.

Tammy (8/5): Enjoyable - value for money and easy check in and out were appreciated - The games room was a blast from the past that was so appreciated by our whole family. The gardens and location were very peaceful The door being left open before our arrival meant that bugs had taken up residence before we got there - the staff were helpful in providing bug spray

Aditi (10/5): - Loved the location and there was an Ampol nearby and also 1-2 restaurants at walking distance. The cabin had all the facilities. It was a good deal and an amazing stay.
Damien (8/5): Lovely short get away. - Ev charger available and staff was really helpful and lovely. The place clean and tidy. The bathroom was recently updated, but some of cabin looked really out dated and maybe fixing up is required (entry to the cabin). Plus windows to the cabin.

Leach (9/5): Bliss & Respite - Perfect destination for a solo retreat. All that you need, kitchette, fridge, bring your own food. Relaxing environment, large grassed area with seating to chill and observe the the valley and wildlife. I will be back. No fryscreens, I like fresh air but the mozzies were everywhere.
warren (10/5): Always have the spa cabin so nice n relaxing - Always love the view. How secluded you are from everyone else in the space cabin. The only thing is they need a fan for ventilation in lounge room with the spa room as it fogs up. And screen door or screens on the window would be nice as you get attacked by mossies in summer
Charles (10/5): Always a pleasure and will be back - I love that I can bring my dog, that there is plenty of space to walk around with a great view and that they have an awesome games room that includes an old pinball machine and jukebox. This was my third time staying here and it's never disappointed. Mt Victoria itself has limited food options so best to bring your own or eat in Blackheath.
robert (10/5): Grandkids, my wife and me had a really good time staying there. - Old fashion cabin but clean, warm and full of old charm, great play room for the family and kids. Lots of kitchen facilities in the cabin. Really nice gardens, Great Value

Rita (8/5): Grosszügige und saubere Unterkunft - Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Wir sind einen Tag zu früh angereist und es war kein Problem den Tag zu wechseln. Wir haben auch Kangaroos gesehen, was uns gefreut hat. Leider hatten wir keinen Zugang zum WLAN.

The staff were helpful without being in your face. Great place I will stay again and recommend it to family and friends Not much, all I could ask for at the price point.
Paul (9/5): Very comfortable & convenient. I'd go back again. - Comfy bed sit cabin with natural bush views & wildlife at the doorstep & no others around. Easy access from hiway but cold not hear traffic. Needed more 'flat space' for my computer use shared with very small 'dining table'. Needs more flat space in bathroom to sit items rather than in the sink.
Dawn (10/5): Charming,peaceful and homely I can’t recommend this place enough. - The location was great. Even though it was on the highway it was seeped in the mountains and established vegetation gave you a beautiful outlook. The rooms were beautifully looked after and were ample in size. The owners were friendly and accommodating. I was allowed to bring my bird which was the biggest selling point! The price was unbelievably low for the space and comfort you got!There is nothing to complain about from this property!

Bruce (8/5): An Excellent Place to Base your Holiday! - The accommodation (cabin) was well appointed with everything that was needed for a good holiday. The entertainment hut was also a bonus, with a mini-pool table, pinball machine and other amusements. All that was needed was food and drink. There were many dog droppings on the lawn behind the cabins. There was some road noise from the highway out the front, but it was never objectionable.
