- Julie (7/5): Good -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irina (3/5): Poor - The location is ok.
A motel by the beautiful river. The location by the river is beautiful, but the motel has several major drawbacks.
Most notably, there is no sink in the bathroom—a surprising and inconvenient omission for a modern motel. All washing up, including dishes and basic hygiene, must be done in the kitchen, which feels both impractical and unhygienic.
The room is advertised for three guests, but we were provided with just one teaspoon for two people. The kitchen is severely under-equipped, with no plates or bowls—making it difficult to prepare even a simple salad or serve fruit. The shelves are essentially empty, which is highly unusual for a self-contained unit.
Unfortunately, due to these oversights, we would not stay here again.
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional - Great little motel, staff very friendly, very clean and comfortable, close to the pub definitely recommend
- Deborah (5/5): Passable -
- Craig (5/5): Passable - The queens size bed was two sngles pushed together with some sort of hardish ridge in the middle of the bed
- Kellie (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Roberta (8/5): Excellent value for money in a great location. Basic accommodation but clean rooms and friendly sta - This was excellent value for money in a great location. Basic room but very clean with fridge and microwave.
- Roslyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dollar (1/5): Bad - The staff were extremely rude, inapropriate and Judgemental. Would only give the correct WiFi password after asking 4 times.
I always drove past and wanted to check out Chinderah Motel... disappointed, way over priced for the service and amenities.
Will not be staying there ever and will be suggesting to people they look elsewhere also.
We have been on the road for the last 4 months and stayed at alot of hotels/motels along the eastern coast of Australia... This by far was the worst! Rude service
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Great little motel, great location. Was handy for where I was going. Clean place and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leo (10/5): - Was just what we required for one night.
- Debbie (8/5): - The only suggestion we could make, is the need for a separate sink to wash your hands.
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Patrick (7/5): Good -
- Laura (10/5): Nice motel in a convenient location for where I needed to be - Nice motel in a convenient location for where I needed to be. Had everything I expected in the room.
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne-marie (6/5): Clean basic facilities with aircon, fridge, kettle and toaster. - It was clean. Very basic
- Margaret (8/5): Fine - Didn't realise I could order breakfast, would been better than wait at Cafe down the road.
Please have breakfast menus or details on the counter.
- Caleb (5/5): Passable -
- Russell (8/5): Very good -
- Mcgrannachan (7/5): Good - Pool Not enough pillows
- Harry (1/5): Terrible due to the check in experience. - Clean and right next to the car. When I went to check in and advised the staff member that I booked via booking.com, he was very angry and swore. He complained that I didn’t ring him to book and claimed that I could have got a cheaper price. He was livid and swore repeatedly. Probably the worse welcome I have ever experienced. Made me feel uncomfortable and like I was his biggest enemy. Won’t be returning.
- Anita (8/5): Very good -
- Moaga (6/5): Pleasant - Close to the water, good location No shower sink, no internet
- Williams (9/5): Superb -
- John (6/5): Chinderah Motel - Location was great, walking distance to family's home and Cubby Bakehouse. It had great breakfast, pastries and coffee, lattes. Room also had large enough refrigerator with separate freezer. Double bed with twin bed, air conditioner. Bathroom was tiny with only a shower stall and toilet. No place to put tolietries in shower. Shower curtain had mildew stain on it; no washbasin in bathroom, had to use kitchen sink.
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kay (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Giulio (7/5): Simple place, wonderful location, a little bit too costy for what they offer - The location is great, the room was clean, and the check-in was simple to do. It is possible to make some walks in the area, and there is a coffee shop in less than 150 meters. The pillows had a strange smell, we couldn't find the TV remote (which was not really important), and the sink was outside of the bathroom. Overall, it is a modest but good accommodation that should cost a little bit less.
- Mel (7/5): Great location, clean and comfortable and affordable. - Great location, clean and comfortable and affordable.
- Jon (8/5): Efficient option for a lovely location. - Clean, quiet area, very convenient location. Space was tight both inside and outside, but workable.
- Trudy (6/5): - The actual room size was good. It had a small kitchenette with full size fridge which was a plus. Unfortunately the plug was too small for the sink, the bathroom was too small to swing a cat. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, no basin or cupboard, no mirror, nowhere to put soap. The coffee etc hadn't been replenished before we moved in and room wasn't serviced while we were there. Only stayed for 2 days though. The motel was in an excellent spot though.
- Charles (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robyn (7/5): Good - Na Na

- Shelley (10/5): - Like the area for fishing
- Rita (6/5): Clean, comfortable no frills very budget - Clean, Only 2 coffee/tea bags and 4 mini size milk sachets.
No complimentary waters or anything to buy from the mini fridge
Only 2 pillows for the bed
- Rob (5/5): Passable -
- Sarah (7/5): Good - The location was perfect, lovely and leafy Photos implied we'd have an outdoor seating area which in fact was just a seat in the carport
- Susan (10/5): Great position - Very comfortable , good position and value for money
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bob (3/5): Won't stay here again , would rather pay more elsewhere - Not much full of truck driver and workers , alright if you want early start Only 2 little squares of soap , No shampoo
