Lee (10/5): - We loved our stay... the cottage and grounds are absolutely adorable, and the couple who own the property are extremely warm and welcoming to their guests. A fresh loaf of sourdough bread, farm fresh eggs, and more were awaiting us in our romantic, imbeccably furnished cottage. It felt like we were staying in someone's private home rather than a vacation rental. The cottage we were in....the Hollyhock... has two bedrooms, a spacious bathroom (with show and a jacuzzi), a comfortable living room and a dine-in kitchen... as well as a washing machine for laundry. The backyard was beautiful, with a barbcue, a back porch, a sloping lawn with chairs, and a nice view. There was even an apple tree brimming with fresh fruit. What more could you ask for?

Built to compliment the original Wagner Cottage it was charming from the lovely extras provided to the extremely comfortable brass bed. Everywhere you looked it was obvious that the owners had spent a great deal of time and effort to create a special experience for the traveller. Set in it’s own manicured garden it was like stepping back in time. Farm fresh eggs, freshly baked bread, port, chocolates, ear plugs, mints – so many little special touches. Freshly cut roses, an array of tea options, fresh milk. Robes, slippers, remote control candles, rubber duckies in the bathroom with a separate bath and shower. The owners were friendly, helpful and very obliging and I compliment them on the best accommodation (outside the CBD district) that I have stayed in for a long time.

anna (10/5): Home away from home - Wagner’s cottages are a true dream. My friend and I were truly blown away by Belindas hospitality. We were created with freshly baked bread and offered lovely home baked treats throughout our stay, which is above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced before. The cottage was clean, homely and serviced with everything you need. Notwithstanding the fantastic location. We ended up staying an extra night because we loved it so much. We chose to use the cottages as our primary base for a good portion of the Great Eastern Drive, which worked out perfectly. The cottages are fully self-sufficient, including a cloths washer. We highly recommend these cottages.
Michael (10/5): Lovely cottage! - We were greeted with a nice little cottage full of fresh flowers and fresh food. Everything was clean and tidy. The spa bath was a great way to end the day and the bed was comfortable. We made breakfast in the morning from the fresh eggs and home made bread and enjoyed it in a private little patio garden. This was a superb stay that I can't recommend highly enough.
Jo (10/5): 'English Cottage in Swansea - Tasmania' - My experience before, during and after was fantastic!! From the moment my partner and I arrived to departing; feeling relaxed and calm before continuing our journey along the East Coast, this is a wonderful place to stay even for 1 night. No sooner were we shown to our cottage the hostess arrived on our doorstep with a small basket of freshly made scones; that wasn't before trying the home made bread that was sitting on the cupboard bench upon opening the front door of the cottage. The serenity of the cottage allowed both myself and my partner to relax for the entire evening in front of the ready made fire; which was set up in the fireplace only waiting for the match to be struck, Good bottle of wine and stone fire pizza in hand topped off our stay. Strongly recommend this place to couples who would like a 'weekend away'!!!

William (10/5): Wonderful stay in the Swansea area! - We started out by having an absolutely wonderful reception by the owners, who greeted us with open arms. The cottage was fully equipped along with breakfast makings for the next day. There was even a bottle of port with two glasses for our nightcap! We had fresh tomatoes from their garden (we overlooked their rose garden, too). All in all it was a remarkably wonderful stay with them.

Max (10/5): Celebrating our wedding anniversary - We have stayed at Wagners a few times and couldn`t wait to get back there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The little extras that are provided by the owners always make a stay here special. We keep coming back to Wagners because quite simply we can`t find anywhere better.

This is the only place we've stayed at, where we had a loaf of home baked bread and fresh farm eggs waiting in our cottage for us. Belinda was more than helpful with recommendations and hospitality. We are used to attic rooms in old buildings in UK where we live but they are more spacious so we didn't realise before arriving. Was also quite dark inside, again a reality of a historic building. We very much enjoyed our time in glorious weather but would choose one of the other cottages if we returned.

The attention to detail was impressive to the flowers in vases to the sherry and chocolates in the sitting room. Belinda was very welcoming and is a delight. The studio cottage was lovely and clean with so much character. A hot spa was just what was needed on a cold night. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including nice little touches with chocolate and fruit teas. I wish I had stayed longer.

Our host couldn't do enough for us which was very refreshing. The room was beautiful with a lovely courtyard for relaxing after a long day and then we were able to have a soak in warm bath with a spa, it was just superb.

We were welcomed by a lovely lady Belinda who also baked us a loaf of bread for our stay. It was very clean, well equiped and had fresh roses everywhere. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Shane (10/5): BEST B&B EVER! - I couldn't rave enough about this B&B. They are the cutest cottages with character and charm which just makes you feel at home. They are clean with all the amenities you could want. What made this my most memorable experience on our trip though was the host Belinda. She is one of the sweetest, kind, most welcoming people I have ever come across. She was just such a lovely person and an absolute wiz in the kitchen. She baked us fresh bread and scones which were divine! You simply must stay here if you are traveling along the east coast!

Kathy (10/5): Lovely historical cottage in Swansea - We wish we could have stayed longer, unfortunately we had booked only the one night and it was quite windy and hot. The upper bedroom didn't have air conditioning but the downstairs living rm did so my husband slept on the couch. He is tall so it worked out as the upper room is a bit confined with a sloping ceiling. There are other cottages that look beautiful that may have been better suited for us. The bathroom was downstairs and is large with a skylight and towel warmer, large corner tub and separate shower. The owner was very sweet and had warm homemade bread and fresh eggs in the charming kitchen waiting for us. Also milk in the fridge for coffee or tea. We really appreciated her warm welcome and loved the care and pride she and her husband have in their home. The gardens are lovely and everything was so clean and well organized.

Very well presented, obviously a lot of thought, care and love went into each cottage. Owners greeted on arrival was so welcoming and friedndly. They has thought of everything. Jeremy (10/5): Great Quality for beach in Swansea. - We stayed in the Studio. It is exceptionally comfortable, with its own private patio and outside bar-b-q. The bathroom is huge, with a spa bath. Belinda the owner has thought of every need and provided so many extras it is a home from home.
Shelley (10/5): Amazing Accomodation with Lovely hosts - What a wonderful welcome we received. The smell of fresh bread and the roses from the garden left us not wanting to leave our cottage. The owner Belinda was so lovely to deal with and so helpful with information around the area. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum and I have never slept so well and we didn't want to leave. Highly recommend staying here.
CP (6/5): Fine for a night, great host - Wagner's Cottage is in a lovely setting, and our host made everything special. Belinda was so sympathetic when an accident prevented us from getting to the first night we planned, and then understanding when we finally arrived. She had baked us fresh bread which was a delight upon our late arrival. She placed small bunches of roses everywhere in the cottage giving it a "welcome home" feeling. Another welcoming feature - the fully ready-to-light small fireplace. Caveat - my tall spouse had a bit of trouble with the doorways. And the lighting was quite dim. However, the cottage was loaded with games and things to do inside if you wanted and a carafe of port with two glasses for an afternoon tipple, and of course the lovely grounds (with birds) were available all the time. The stone cottage was a bit of old-world charm, calming in a busy world.
Rebecca (10/5): Wonderful cottage - amazing hospitality - My partner and I stayed at Wagners Cottages between Christmas and New Years. We stayed in 'Wagners Cottage' and it was spectacular. The cottage itself was beautiful and very well maintained. It was well stocked with pots and pans etc for cooking. Our favourite thing about our stay though has got to be the hospitality. When we arrived there was a delicious loaf of freshly baked bread waiting for us, along with eggs, milk and butter in the fridge. We came back from Freycinet on our second day to fresh baked scones waiting for us in the kitchen. There was a huge array of DVDs in the office that we were told to help ourselves to. The service was absolutely amazing and we both felt so welcome and at home.
judy (10/5): Comfort - When we arrived we were met and given a very warm and friendly welcome by out host. The cottage was an old stable from the original farm about one hundred and fifty years old the renovations were very well done and the furniture comfortable. We had a pleasant nights stay.

Beautifully restored with all mod cons as well as luxury details such as bath robes and home made bread and eggs for breakfast. The garden setting is a delight and the host was warm and friendly with great advice about the local area.

Made a lovely coffee & tea to enjoy with our scones butter and jam. Grabbed a few dvds they had for free in the reception area. There was even a tv in the spa! Thank you!
Kay22 (10/5): Old world charm, modern comforts - Stayed in Primrose cottage. Built to reflect an old stone cottage. Picture perfect, but has all modern ammenties - separate kitchen/dining area, ensuite bathroom with spa bath and a lounge room. Continal breakfast and a loaf of fresh baked breah supplied. Loved it, wish we had booked for longer.
