Guest Reviews
- Jessica (7/5): An incredible, unique getaway to stay and recharge. - Everything about this property was incredible. A beautiful location. Super comfy and unique. We woke early and watched the light fill the valley while listening to the whip and bell birds calling to each other. We saw a wedge tail eagle. Was incredible! My only complaint which really spoiled out experience was the people in the tent next to us played loud dance music, got drunk and were very loud until late into the night. It seemed an odd place to want to party.
The owners of the property were super lovely, helpful and apologetic about it though.
I’d definitely recommend this place to stay for a retreat from your busy lives. (Hopefully you do t get the same neighbours we did 😆🙏🏽)

- Tiffany (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The water is on gas so the shower/bath was nice and hot. Stone sink was beautiful and interesting. The deck was a nice space to just sit and chill, listen to the birds, watch the little wallabies and other small animals. Cooked all our meals on the BBQ, breakfast is provided, yoghurt, muesli, bread, butter, milk, juice, fruit, but I like a hot breakfast so we didn't use any of it. There is also tea, coffee and sugar. The cooking and eating utensils were perfect for a couple, there is a whistling kettle for the burner attached to the BBQ and a small fry pan. The bed, like most places is a firm bed, which we are not use to, but still got a good sleep.
- Nishant (9/5): Great experience, Excellent host - Nice retreat away from the city madness. Great views of Border Ranges NP and Mount Warning. Steve is an excellent host catering to each and every request. Very nice and understanding. Cleaning could have been slightly better

- Sarah (10/5): Fantastic experience made special by the hosts. - Great friendly welcome, showing us our tent and everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
The previous night had been a bit cold, so even our bed had been heated for us!
Really pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the tent was, with its lovely freestanding bath, separate shower and full running water.
Sitting on the comfy seats on the deck watching the wallabies below was amazing, relaxing & so peaceful.
Also loved the very interesting nearby towns and waterfalls.
Shame we didn't have a bit longer here than a couple of nights. Not staying long enough.
There's nothing to dislike - they go beyond to make sure you're happy & have everything you need.

- Kimberley (10/5): Splendid - Everything! Toilet a little exposed

- Ashleigh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wil (10/5): We felt like royalty in a medieval film! - Amazing view and very nice staff. We felt like royalty in a medieval film
- Yvette (8/5): Cosy Connection with Nature - Cosy and relaxing haven. Even though we unfortunately travelled when the weather was quite bad, we were snug and cosy in our genuine African tent/bungalow, complete with warm electric blankets and beautiful hot shower and separate claw foot tub.
Our host Stephen was so lovely and accommodating to make sure we were kept comfortable and had everything we needed during our short stay.
The area is spectacular, and having resident wallaby's greet us was such a treat. Our view was facing into the bush, so while lovely and private.. next time we'll check to see if we can get a bungalow overlooking the valley.
- Harrison (9/5): Loved it, have recommended to friends and family and will come back again - Everything was great, stunning view and everything you need provided! A heater as pictured on the deck would have made it more comfortable of a night on the deck
- Ct (10/5): Such a unique stay! - Everything really. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly, and have thought of every small detail.
The tent itself is incredible. Very spacious, with all amenities you need. Shower, bathtub, basin and toilet all indoors! A BBQ on the patio outside, minifridge stocked with all you need, and if anything runs out, the hosts are happy to restock! While there is no mobile service on site, wifi via Starlink satellite is available and is faster than most services in the city...
Amenities aside, the location is serene and peaceful, and is conducive to a relaxing stay away from the day-to-day. Loved this place! Some of the road up is gravel, drive carefully!
- Nori (9/5): Brilliant place would definitely go again - The house we stayed in
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- White (10/5): Loved every minute we were there - Terrific view, very private and location was excellent as we visited nearby National Parks for bushwalking every day. Breakfast was good although being coffee lovers a pod machine would be welcome. Overall a hidden gem we will be telling family and friends about. Maybe an electric jug would have been a little more convenient.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sameenah (10/5): Best place to relax and disconnect from busy life. - Was so peaceful and the breaky muesli was delicious That I had to leave lol
- Gavin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (9/5): Great Glamping Experience - Well appointed luxury tent with a spacious covered deck to boot. Great view. Location was tranquil and enjoyed the lovely surrounds and quietness. Steve was very helpful to make sure you have all that you'd need, just a phone call and he was a coupleof minutes away. Amazing star scape at night was a bonus. Some sort of heating in the tent or outdoor furnace would have made it nicer for winter. The electric blankets were good only when staying in bed.
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place for a relaxing weekend away. Exceeded our expectations. Thank you!
- Anjali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional - Location, view, and scenery are unbeatable. The host was super accommodating. Very comfy beds and linen.

- John (9/5): We got what we hoped for and left feeling relaxed and refreshed. - It is in a lovely setting on the edge of bush-land, and very quiet and relaxing. We awoke each day to the sounds of birds and other bush sounds. On the two full days there we explored the district during the middle of the day and returned in late afternoon, and prepared a simple evening meal using the BBQ with side burner on the deck. The accommodation was thoughtfully arranged, spacious and of excellent quality, and the hosts friendly and helpful.

- Janet (9/5): Relaxing glamping location - Everything you would expect of a safari tent, very like those in South Africa. Very well furnished. Spacious and comfortable.
Friendly and helpful host.
Nice shower.
Useful size fridge and quiet.
BBQ with kettle gas ring.
Lovely view from good size, private deck with nice comfortable loungers.
Continental breakfast was adequate ( although brown bread option would be nice) A small table and 2 chairs on the deck to eat and prepare food would be helpful, as it is set for limited self catering and no other options nearby to eat in the evening.
- Shell (10/5): Super relaxing place to stay! - Loved the location. The tent itself was beautiful to stay in. Bed was super comfortable and made like home. The bath was so relaxing.
Loved all the little extras like the picnic basket and bath salts.
We didn’t eat all the breakfast stuff but having it there was a lovely touch.
Owner greeted us on arrival and took us to the tent - was super friendly and helpful with suggestions around the local area.
Will stay again. Having to leave!

- Tom (9/5): Superb -
