Very helpful staff. The pool are was lovely. no kettle or fridge but we knew this beforehand so wasn't expected

Stayed in queen room, I didn't want to leave But there were no living room or place to chill.. I had a single room so it wasn't bothering me too much but if I stayed in dorm, it would've been tough I guess..

- A (3/5): NO FOR SOLO TRAVELERS - That I only stayed for one night. I was counting the hours to be able to move to a different location. I wouldn’t recommend this place as a solo traveler. I have stayed in many hostels, and this is the first one where I have felt unsafe. I raised my concerns to the lady at the front, and she had a lack of interest on knowing more about the situation. I had to downgrade my booking to feel safe in a different room, so I ended paying for a 4 beds to say in a 6 beds.

- Artur (6/5): - The staff was super friendly! Good facility for cooking! It was a good stay, I recommend it. My only problem was with the cleanliness. I rented a private room, and as soon as I entered, I smelled a very unpleasant odor coming from the bed. The mattress was dirty, like it smelled like dirty feet. I had to ask for a replacement, and they brought me clean sheets and changed the mattress. The staff was super friendly.

- Augusto (10/5): One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in - Easily one of the top 5 hostels I’ve ever stayed in. I was supposed to stay there for one night and move to my friend's house but I decided to stay for the whole trip. Maybe the atmosphere of Cairns and the great vibe I was in during the forró festival made the experience feel even better, but this hostel was genuinely excellent. Everything was super clean, the rooms were comfortable, and there was no outside noise or mess disturbing our rest. The guests were friendly, the facilities were great, the pool was perfect for cooling down after a long day, and the kitchen is huge and very well set up. For me, the best point was the location — absolutely excellent, very central, and close to everything I needed. Also, all the staff, from reception to housekeeping, were very polite, helpful, and professional. The reception girls gave me amazing tips for tours and things to do, and my stay was impeccable Honestly, nothing significant comes to mind. I had a great experience overall.

- cayt (9/5): Friendly well equipped hostel with lovely garden pool areas - Very welcoming, friendly staff who accommodated all that they could. Facilities were clean and communal areas were excellent to allow people to stay at low budget cooking costs I struggled with the step ladder to the top bunk.. felt the design was lethal as the gaps between rings were too big. Having said that the med itself was generous single and the mattress was more than adequate with clean bedding

- Lorinda (7/5): A one night stay kind of accomodation - It is central to everything in Cairns. No sound proofing so you can hear everything from the pool area at night when people come and go. Think there may be some damp/mould issues as I got irritated sinus in the room. Need to modernise then rooms for power points.

- Naoko (7/5): 楽しく暮らすように滞在できました！ - 飛行機が早朝着だったので前日からの予約にして、セルフチェックインの対応をしてもらいました。 スーパーや専門店が沢山入ったケアンズセントラルやケアンズ駅が目の前で、買い物やキュランダ観光に便利でした。 共用キッチンやタッチ決済で使えるランドリーもあり。バスタオルもあり、連泊だったのでレセプションで交換してもらえました。 円安と物価が高い中でも比較的安く泊まれて助かりました。 観光案内やタクシー手配など、受付ではフレンドリーに対応してもらえました。 シャワーとトイレの床が繋がっていて、シャワーを使うたびにトイレの床が濡れてしまって大変でした。トイレ用のサンダルがあった方がいいかもしれません。 ドライヤーのリクエストやタオル交換など、自分から声をかけないと分からないことも多いので、英語が得意じゃないとなかなか大変です。
