There is no wifi on the property, but 4g worked ok on phone. We sat outside undercover mostly, or in the garden, surrounded by the grape vines. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and their pet dog and goat completed the picture.

- Camille (10/5): Excellent country stay - The hosts, BJ and Gav, are a lovely couple. We stayed in the Drovers accomodation. It was tidy and updated without losing the country feel. We were surrounded by vineyards and the sunset out the back deck was amazing (see photo). They have also kindly offered to drive us around mudgee to experience wine, cheese and honey, which was the highlight of our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Mudgee.

- Jules (10/5): - BJ and GAV are such amazing hosts - so friendly and with a wealth of knowledge about the area - where to go and what to eat! All their recommendations were spot on. They added a lot of extra touches like fresh eggs, bread, coffee machine lovely candle etc. The property is spotless cosy and peaceful and situated perfectly in the centre of all so many amazing wineries. I highly recommend. trip to Bunamagoo and make sure you book a tasting at LOWES and enjoy their amazing food platter. Allow at least an hour there. We hired bikes from Peter Van Gent winery which was a fab way to get around and it’s only a 20 min walk from Farmers Quarters. We can’t wait to return!!

The owners are the most incredibly thoughtful and generous hosts we’ve ever encountered, ensuring that the fridge was stocked with the milk we prefer, fresh country eggs and bread. Gav and BJ, the hosts, also ensured we were comfortable, helped guide us with local recommendations and went out of their way to ensure we had a good time and enjoyed their hometown as much as they do. We will be back in a few months, and we weren’t planning on returning until our stay!

New(ish!) owners are very friendly and welcoming and have done a great job in updating the cabins. Rooms are large and each room has its own ensuite and shower which is perfect. Bed was super comfortable, and the little extras well thought out and appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and will happily stay again.

- JN (10/5): Very comfortable cottage set among the vines. - Eight kilometers from Mudgee, in the vines, private, quiet and comfortable. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Arrived after office had closed, informed by phone how to locate cottage, and that it was unlocked and keys were on the table. Very trusting.
- David (8/5): Comfort in the vines - Clean and comfortable, Farmers Daughters Cottages make for a great stay just 10km from the centre of Mudgee. The cottages are set on a working vineyard but are some distance from the winery and cellar door - great for quiet and privacy but not convenient if you require anything during your stay. Illness for a regular member of staff meant that picking-up and dropping-off the key presented some minor challenges - eventually resolved plus a couple of bottles of wine for our inconvenience. Good value in a beautiful part of nSW
- suz (10/5): Close to Mudgee and surrounds - Such a great place to stay near most winery's short driver to town Merlot cottage was excellent cottages were separated by well maintained lawn's and picturesque vines
- Grant (6/5): Good & potential to be great, but falls short! - The unit we stayed in (Rosé) was overall in good condition, kitchen and bathrooms were up to date and nice, the view from the back deck was good also. It did overall feel unloved and somewhat unclean, at check in the lady was pleasant but as she was also assisting people with a wine tasting it was difficult to ask her a lot of info. On arrival there were large spider webs above the curtain at the front door and in the bedroom corners and a spider in our bed. There was no current compendium of information on how everything works, check in /out procedures or who to contact if we had a question / problem etc. There was no laundry detergent, this would normally be provided. When we tried to check out the cellar door was not open and there was no visible secure place to leave the key, the man mowing the lawn approached us and said he could take the key. Also there is a decking board on the rear deck that has lifted and is a tripping hazard that you may wish to rectify.

There were all the comforts of home in the kitchen, We didn't cook there but made tea/coffee. We sat outside on the verandah sipping wine, overlooking the vineyards which were very close. All in all a pleasant stay.

Great if you want to self cater. Windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned for years with cobwebs everywhere.No sign of any staff after collecting key for 3 days at cellar door, some distance from accommodation.

- Ronald (8/5): Vineyards and towns around Mudgee - We wanted to see a bit of the Mudgee/Scone area and liked the idea of staying in a vineyard. We were the only ones staying in the cottages and so it was very quiet. It was a terrific spot for driving out to the surrounding towns and areas. All in all a very pleasant stay.

- CaitlinJ (10/5): Lovely cottage in the vines - I booked for a quick long weekend at last minute, so thought I would be taking an ok but less desirable option. Oh was I wrong. Self-contained cottage with full kitchen, lounge and two bedrooms. We originally booked the Shiraz (3 bedrooms) but were transferred to the Rose (2 bedder). Given we were a couple with no kids, no need for the extra space. Lovely greeting from the owners and clear directions. The cottage is at the back of the vineyards. Plenty of magpie visitors to welcome us in. Beware the one that seems to think (s)he is invited in for dinner!

- Verified traveler (10/5): mudgee stay - we had a very relaxing stay at the farmers daughter cottages.the hostess was very helpful & freindly.set back from the main road so we could hear hardly any traffic noise.bbq on back verandah was used as the sun set of an evening.have been here before & would revisit when time allows.as a bonus the Cab Sav was magic.

- Helen (8/5): Mudgee getaway - Accommodation consists of 5 individual cottages which externally at least would indicate that they offer different size and room configurations. Ours consisted of an external covered balcony with BBQ, very large lounge/dining/kitchen area providing 2 x 2 seater lounges [ one very tired], television & DVD player, formal dining setting and self contained kitchen including gas stove & microwave oven. Sleeping area again was a large queen bedroom with robe & bedside tables; off this was a rather tiny bathroom & toilet room. Rooms were clean if you didn't move the furniture, which we did and discovered a build up of unexplored dust. Keys are collected and returned to cellar door store about 500 metres distant and apart from initial key contact we did not have contact with any staff despite our numerous day stay. Room went un-serviced throughout, which was okay however, advance warning might have been provided. Located about 7 kilometres from town a vehicle is thought essential and cyclists should stay off rocky Crawley Lane access road & consider safety of Ulan Road from Mudgee which caters for high speed heavy vehicles and includes a small narrow obscured bridge.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Cottage escape - We enjoyed our stay in the Rose' cottage. The accommodation was very clean and we liked the privacy. A short walk to the cellar door. Great escape and loved the beautiful vines from our room. We will be back again.
