- Ross (6/5): It is the Faulty Towers of Yeppoon - Close and handy to everything, reasonable breakfast. In general it is good clean and tidy The rooms could use a makeover especially the bathroom. It’s the only place we have had to take all our rubbish with us otherwise we would have been charged. The staff were very rude and didn’t seem to care about customers. The staff really let the place down

- Jamie (3/5): It was 'ok'. - Great location, right on the beach, close to cafes and bakery. The lady at the front was very friendly, as were the two people serving breakfast. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Upon opening the door to our room, I was met with a cockroach scurrying across the floor. Unfortunately the shower leaked and we had to request numerous towels to keep the water from running out the bathroom door onto the entrance. Lots of noise coming from The Strand, fortunately I brought my ear plugs. The constant text messages to my phone reminding me about parking, no smoking, cleaning fees was a bit too much. 6 text messages received from 10am Thursday till 5.30pm Saturday night. The hotel is stuck in the 80s and could do with a bit of a revamp.

The building is old but still clean and comfortable and individual apartments have been renovated We stayed in apartment 102 and I would not recommend staying in this apartment. The carpark/pool door is opposite apartment and slams shut all throughout the night and early hours of the morning making sleep broken.

- Lynnette (9/5): Great ocen views - The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The views from the balcony were awsome, we woke early to watch the sunrise over the ocean, just beautiful! It was very close to shops, restaurants/bars and a great walk around the waterfront. The breakfast buffet that was included was fantastic. The room was a bit dated, the fridge door had a fair bit of rust on it, it still worked fine but just didn't look good.

Only 2 working PowerPoints in whole unit (none in bedroom which makes a CPAP user suffer). Water pressure next to 0 & no chance of washing hair or even body post swim. Very noisy with dripping aircons. Floor under shower sagged immensely & felt unsafe. Only 7 or 8 undercover parks for whole building. Automatic doors not automatic. Just very run down.
