- Noelene (10/5): -
- Daniella (10/5): Exceptional - I loved how spacious it was and all the facilities that we could use, it’s a great stay for families even in the colder seasons! It also felt safe even when guests were around. N/A
- Jeannie (6/5): I won’t stay again. Just not up to standard. - Location was lovely. Unfortunately the TV didn’t work, door handle to bathroom was loose & pillows were flat.
- Kaylene (8/5): Very good - The facilities were perfect for our needs and everything was clean and tidy.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great!! Very clean, equipped, bed very confortable. I will definitely recommend to say at this accommodation.
- Sorensen (9/5): Peaceful - Loved the pool
- Cameron (1/5): We arrived at the check in time (3pm) and called the number that was left on the door. She said she’ll have someone down - Nothing as I didn’t get to stay the night due to no staff in the office to give us our keys Nothing as I didn’t stay here
- Calvin (10/5): Excellent place to stay in Bussleton - Absolutely fantastic service and facilities!
Highly recommended for large groups looking for a place to make a base exploring the south west!
Will absolutely stay there again next time I'm down south. There's nothing negative I can say about our stay at the Inn the Tuarts. It was by far the best resort I've ever stayed at.
- Habibullah (9/5): Superb -
- Luke (1/5): would definitely not recommend to anyone - was unable to contact staff even to get into the room. we spoke to other people staying there who had the same problems and worked out the code for our keys. cold shower just dribbled out water, had to wash from the basin. couldnt get out of the front door as lock was faulty. toilet was blocked. one of the worst stays i have had over all the years of using booking.com
- Garmony (5/5): Passable - Very clean and we were upgraded to a three bedroom (1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom and a double in an open area) Unfortunately we didn't have much time there as we had to leave early and had attended a family birthday the night before. One mug for a 5 guest room, no milk eventhough coffee, tea and sugar supplied, no hot water in bathroom, no sponge, dishwashing liquid or teatowel in the small kitchenette (we were supposed to wash and dry our dishes), fan in one bedroom came on mysteriously while we were out and we couldn't turn it off, lights did not work over the bathroom basins, airconditioner didn't work in open bedroom (the remote may need new batteries) We were very disappointed as it looked so good online.
- Robyn (7/5): An okay stay! - Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was good. There were no staff in the evening or in the morning. There was no breakfast even though breakfast was advertised as available.
Room 8 entrance door cannot be opened from the inside, needs attention.
- Ranger (7/5): Only two full days but enjoyed peace and quiet. - Quiet amongst the trees. Easily accessible to Busselton where there are good restuarants. Away from traffic. Was surprised to view dirty fridge in BBQ area with rotting food. Would have thought it would be cleaned regularly after visitors.
- Juliann (10/5): - Very nice lovely and quit and great place to relaxe
- MyraD (10/5): - We loved our comfortable, clean room and the Inn's location in the Tuart eucalyptus forest. It felt very secluded but was only a few minutes from Busselton and its restaurants, shopping and pier. We saw and heard many native birds and even watched a kangaroo or two from our patio.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our room was absolutely spotless and delightful. The bed was comfortable and we were extremely impressed with everything.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hosts were exceptionally courteous in welcoming us to their beautiful lodge in a lovely forested setting. Our room and the lounge areas were attractive and comfortable. It would have been great to be able to spend more time there. We highly recommend Inn the Tuarts!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The stay here was most enjoyable, it was very homely & clean.
The continental breakfast was very nice & plentiful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Our room had a well equipped kitchen.
Lots of quirky little problems and a very hands off approach to staffing the guesthouse.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - location is great, amongst the Tuart and Peppermint trees. Quiet area not to far from Busselton
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quietness. Beautiful spot in the forest. Very friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - every aspect was excellent...nice quiet setting
no problems whatsoever
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Secluded yet close to all we wanted to do in the south west
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a lovely room by the pool and bbq area. Breakfast was nicely done with coffee/tea and toast. A delightful setting. Will be returning
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great service, gave us a free upgrade. Room was big, bed was comfy. Free access to a pool, spa and sauna. We will go back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic establishment, very well maintained and clean and with lovely staff too
- Vicki (10/5): - Great little hideaway in a quiet location. Close to town and restaurants
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely area near Busselton, great launching pad to the Margaret river area and further south! Very quiet amongst the trees and nearby bush walks, staff were very helpful and the room we stayed in was set up for all mobility challenges. Would recommend the Inn to anyone!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very comfortable and friendly. Lovely quiet spot. Kangaroos. Very clean. Nice people aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
- Jason (8/5): Good single night stopover - Arrived just before check in closed at 6. Received tour off facilities and personal check into room. Very comfortable. Full size fridge and kitchen well equipped for stopover and suited for longer stays. Consider booking again on next trip south to wineries.
Hostess provided great insight into swimming beaches when we inquired.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Wonderful hosts in cosy guesthouse - Pros - Very nice, friendly hosts with a good sized room for a short stay. Close to Busselton Bypass if travelling around South West region. Price is also cheapest in region (or it was for our stay at least).
Cons - Only a door between rooms so can hear next rooms "activities". Also the area around guest house is very dark at night and can miss the entrance off the road. But these were very, very small issues and not deal breakers at all.
- Craig (10/5): Green, clean and quiet - Very nice place for a great brake amongst the trees.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Quiet and private hotel in lovely location - Recommend this lovely inn. My stay was so quiet and peaceful, the room pleasant and comfortable with a tranquil verandah outlook from my room. The staff are all helpful, pleasant and professional. Will definitely stay again. Thank you.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel is positioned inside the Tuart forest and it's easy to miss the intersection with main road. Therefore the friendly hotel staff made extra effort to deliver an enlarged map before we hit the road.
Upon arrival, they also took some time in guiding us through the entire property so we know all facilities available and where about. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice quiet residence. - Friendly staff and all comforts catered for. Stayed 2 nights and had lovely morning walks seeing kangaroos in the bush.
- David (10/5): Inn the Tuarts guest lodge - Quiet (no children) - very comfortable, Suzanne and Peter were very pleasant to deal with. An ideal base for a two day stay. 10 mins from Bussellton
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It Was amazing 🤗
- Leon (10/5): Relaxing stay - Lovely accomodation & wonderful hosts, just a few minutes drive from Busselton. Away from traffic, so relaxing & quiet.
- Barb (10/5): Lovely hosts, nice environment - Our flight was cancelled and beyond our control. We lost a nights accom that we had paid for which was not recoverable. Hosts upgraded our room which was lovely.
- Sara (10/5): A lovely quiet getaway. - Just driving up to and walking into the reception of this lovely guest lodge makes you feel instantly relaxed: it is beautifully presented and the receptionist was absolutely lovely - welcoming and helpful. The room was immaculate, and very comfortable. I enjoyed one of the cook-chill chef-prepared evening meals on offer and it was absolutely beautiful. I took advantage of the pool and spa and while both were spotlessly clean, as was the surrounds, the pool area ceiling is in need of some attention. The property itself is super quiet and provides the perfect spot for a recharge break, and it is a short drive only to Busselton itself. I will definitely return and will recommend it wholeheartedly to friends.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Walls very thin - The room was very pleasant but the walls were very thin so we could hear everything in the next room.
- Andrew (10/5): Secluded - Our hosts Suzanne and Peter were great and we really enjoyed our 3 day stay everything we needed was there and we were also able to relax if you are looking for a quite out of the way place (not to far out of the way) to stay this is the place for you with Busselton only 7 minutes away if you need anything else.
We will return as we found it to be very affordable.
- Ami (10/5): - It was perfect place for me, quiet, comfortable and feel more like private. Love it!!
- Steve (10/5): Very well maintained hotel with friendly staff - Well maintained hotel with excellent facilities and friendly staff. Close to busselton.
Nice location with lots of bush and wildlife close.
- Lindsey (10/5): Lovely place to stay. - Great location and fabulous property. Suzanne and Peter were very welcoming and their knowledge of the area was excellent. Suzanne showed an interest in all of her guests' daily itineraries and she offer good advice and tips about where to go and where not to go. We mentioned that we wanted to go whale watching and Suzanne ended up booking the whole trip for us which was very helpful. Lovely place to stay, fabulous rooms and great facilities such as BBQs, pool , sauna and jacuzzi. Would highly recommend a stay here.
- Paul T (10/5): Winter break in the forest - This little gem is tucked away within the Tuart forest just outside of Busselton. We took a winter break to get some much needed time away from the city and were well rewarded by the location, hospitality and excellent accommodation. The cheaper winter rates were a bonus.
The facilities included an indoor pool, spa and sauna as well as a games room.
Our hosts were warm, accommodating yet professional. The room was spotless as was the guest house in general. Great care has been taken to make this happen and the eye for detail was never better demonstrated than by the carefully laid out daily fruit platter at breakfast.
Top spot. Five stars.
- Chris (8/5): Unbeatable service - Coming from a sales background I expect great service, this was above and beyond that and sincerely genuine. Great facilities. Highly recommend. Great value for money.
- Joh (10/5): Great location - We were surprised by the location as we envisaged that the Inn was closer to town. We were greeted by warm and inviting hosts. The surroundings were quiet among the edge of the Tuart National Park with kangaroos and bird life.
- Garry (8/5): - Very friendly & personalised service. quiet & relaxing location surrounded by national park but within easy drive of Busselton townsite.
- lisa and vince (10/5): - We had an extremely comfortable stay. The suite and facilities were very quiet, clean and well maintained. The hosts were very welcoming.
- Andrew (10/5): Great, relaxing place! - Spent two nights here, great service and a beautiful location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hidden treasure - Suzanne and Peter will be sure to do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Much appreciated.
- Helen (10/5): Delightful break in the heart of nature - I'll be honest, I had to idea where to stay for my one night micro-break in Busselton, WA. I saw Inn the Tuarts on Last Minute, and thought it looked nice, so I made the booking. I am so very thankful that I did! The welcome was so warm and friendly, and I was given a tour of the main areas of the hotel. I was also given an upgraded room, which was absolutely lovely. Air conditioned/heated, with my own bathroom and a sliding door that opened out onto a little alcove/verandah and onto the pool/spa/sauna area - very handy, had I brought my bathers! (This might be problematic, if there are noisy guests late at night?). This area was lovely, with an under-cover BBQ area and ample seating for guests. Outside is just...heavenly. Peaceful, quiet, surrounded by massive trees and bushland. Down the road, there are picnic areas to sit in the silence and delight in the beauty of the Tuart's Forest. I didn't see any kangaroos, although there was evidence aplenty of their existence! The motel is only a short drive from the main town of Busselton, which itself is beautiful, and has all the mod-cons of a big city, (supermarket, fast food, etc), but with a beach and their famous jetty that is just...astoundingly beautiful. I can definitively say I'll return to Busselton and the Inn the Tuarts motel; I host photography retreats in SA, and am churning over ideas on how I can expand to WA, specifically to this region and being based at the Inn the Tuarts motel. Thanks for such a lovely stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely peaceful spot, lovely staff. Clean and comfortable rooms.
- Noel (10/5): Fabulous guesthouse - The guesthouse is located about 5km outside Busselton on the edge of the Tiara Forrest. It was a pleasure to wake to the sound so far birds and not traffic and the sounds of suburbia. Ou unit number 9 was very large with separate second bedroom area and mini kitchen. The pool and outdoor areas were as per the pictures. Breakfast was very good Andy the owners and staff very friendly. We stayed three nights and found the Guesthouse a great base to explore the area.
- Macca (10/5): Beautiful place. Great staff - Fantastic place to stay. The staff was amazing and always giving advice on where to go. I cannot wait to go back again. :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful little getaway! - We absolutely loved our time at Inn the Tuarts Guest Lodge. It was a little home away from home for the five days we were in Busselton. The owners, Suzanne and Peter, were always friendly and would go out of their way to help their guests out wherever possible. The pool and jacuzzi are very nice, and the overall set out of the place is beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend going here if you are a couple wanting a peaceful and calming getaway whilst in Busselton.
- Brandon (10/5): Amazing! - Inn the Tuarts is a fantastic accommodation for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Busselton without feeling isolated. Only 10 minutes away is the city centre however the property itself is private and completely surrounded by bushland. We had a lovely lodge upstairs that was away from other guests. Some pros included the open pool, jacuzzi, sauna (however we didn't get enough time to try), BBQ etc etc. They will even do the dishes for you!
Highly recommended for those wishing to get away and be at one with nature, but still have Busselton's best attractions down the road.
- Ruth (10/5): - It was a quiet, peaceful place, in a beautiful setting, with every facility one could want.
The owners, were pleasant, efficient, lovely people and provided a scrumptious breakfast each day.
Would love to go again soon and happy to recommend it to friends.
- Ken and Robyn (10/5): A quiet well appointed location just out of town. - We stayed at Tuarts Guest Lodge Busselton in September 2016. The rooms are very clean and the facilities are first class. The staff (the owners) go out of their way to help with your any need and they are happy to give you directions to the must see attractions in Busselton
- Michal (10/5): Great Place to Relax and Enjoy the Region. - Right from the start as I drove towards the lodge through the beautiful Ludlow Tuart Forest I knew this place was just what I was looking for. The surrounding area and the grounds of the lodge itself are just magnificent. The sense of peace and calm that pervades the area leaves you feeling free and relaxed within minutes.
On arrival one of the owners, Peter, met me at reception and gave me a short but informative tour of the premises and pointed out some walking trails nearby. The lodge itself is well maintained and has a lot of public areas which are well thought out and functional as well as being enjoyable to linger in.
The room was bright, airy and comfortable with everything I needed for an enjoyable, carefree stay. I also highly recommend taking advantage of the pre-prepared meal service offered by Suzanne, the other owner. My meals were already in the room fridge when I arrived, which was perfect after such a long drive when I didn't really feel like venturing out to find a restaurant.
Each morning I took advantage of the breakfast on offer in the morning room, which was always delicious and filling. Peter would often stop by my table for a chat (while Suzanne would pop her head in when not preparing amazing things in the kitchen), which was a very lovely personal interaction I enjoyed. Both were funny, helpful and recalled what your plans were for each day and would ask how you went later with genuine interest.
Overall, this was a supremely pleasant experience
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Not quite as nice as the pictures suggest but overall a very pleasant spot for a quiet couple's get away.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely quiet position. Relaxing - Beautiful position in the Tuart Forest. Abundant wildlife especially birds.
Easy 5 minute drive to Busselton.
We were made to feel very welcome, facilities were great.
Fantastic cooked breakfast, nothing to complain about
