Very good value Door seal could have been better to cut out noise of others going to their cars but this was only a little noticeable

The room was very large and contained a microwave and small fridge table and chairs and a small couch. The leatherette on the chairs has seen better days but it was still clean and functional. The tv was huge If it had a pool it would be perfect.

Spencer (7/5): Just what we needed to stay overnight with our staffy between Melbourne & Adelaide. - We liked that it was pet friendly (so could have our dog) and that the bed was comfortable and a big TV. Generous with condiments. They had a unexpected problem with hot water on that day, but the owner provided an alternative room for showering without any issue. We weren't able to wash our dishes because there was no kitchen sink or dishwashing detergent.

For a motel, it was exactly what I expected. Would definitely stay there again. The Roadhouse for breakfast, coffees etc, close by. Good value. Everything was adequate. Certainly no complaints.

Nicola (8/5): Great stop over to take a rest from road travels if travelling to Adelaide from Victoria - It was clean and easy to find. Great location for travellers to stop the night which it appears most guests were doing. The rooms were very clean and it is only one level so no stairs. It was very cold but the reverse cycle air con worked well. The gentleman that manages the property was very friendly and helpful. There was no crockery or cutlery available other than glasses, cups and teaspoons.

Tim Fatchen (9/5): Worth the money, beats the competition hands down, rested and worked for us. - The facilities all appear to have been recently refurbished. Spotless and welcoming. A/C and heating were excellent (and we needed the heating). Plenty of tea and coffee, sufficient spring water, cutlery/crockery all shining and bright. Helpful staff/owner. Light doona on the bed: additional blankets were provided in linen press...which we needed even with the heating. Be okay in summer: for winter conditions would rather have the balnkets already on!

I was behind scheduled and he put me at ease. Grateful he had the office open later than standard business hours ie., 5pm. The Roadhouse up the road, staff were lovely and their souvlaki was delicious along with their breakfast sandwich (egg & bacon). I would stop off there again if passing through. Due to traffic of semi trailers passing through and the rail yard it took a little to fall asleep. I don't think this is something you can rectify.

CANT DRINK THE WATER -- Only found this out because i decided to read the information book in the room. No notices put up or anything to advise the water is unsafe to drink. Shower was broken and barely worked. Their were someone else's hairs on the bathroom floor and bed was hard as rocks.
