Plus they should have more that just one extra toilet beside the ensuit toilets in the rooms due to i was sharing that one with 8 other girls.... and most of the time both were being used and i needed to go to the other building to find a toilet lol. Personal is amazing, they just could improove the dorms cleaning and under the mattres cleaning and ensuit toilets cleaning and desinfecting and bad smell and mold.

- Laura (6/5): Not clean - Australian guy at reception very friendly and lovely, nice looking rooms and cute courtyard Our shared bathroom was really dirty and it smelt damp and like drains, I asked reception when it would be cleaned next and they couldn’t even tell me just said they don’t have enough housekeeping staff to clean it regularly!! The bathroom floor was visibly dirty - black dirt marks and hair everywhere, sink was filthy, bath mat was also dirty and damp stinking the place out. Reception girl was really unhelpful and not friendly either

- Emma (9/5): - Close to all facilities and near by shops, transport ect great location overall. Rooms were very musty, moldy smelling , and very very small. We used this place as we were going to a concert and would only use this room to sleep in . For over $300 a night was very pricey to me for 3 people as the rooms were only 3*2 metres squared just enough room for the bed . Not worth that at all when you can stay at a hotel with 2 private bedrooms in a private place for the same price. But we booked 1 week prior so I guess last minute booking this is what you get .

- Rinri (10/5): - 施設も広く、水回りも綺麗に清掃されていた◎ 8人部屋に対してシャワー１つ、トイレ１つだが一度も混み合うことなく好きなタイミングで使用できた。 旅行者というよりはワーホリや長期旅行の方が多い印象 キッチンは24時間空いておらず夜の10時くらいに閉まるので注意△ チェックインや部屋のロック解除は全て携帯で行うためアナログな人は手こずるかもしれません。 メインエントランスも夜はコードを入力して入る必要がありますが毎日番号が変わっていたため、出かける前にフロントで聞く方が安全。ただし常にエントランス前のベンチに滞在者が居たので番号がわからなくなってもすぐ聞けると思います。駅からも近く、満足でした◯

- Elizabeth (7/5): Great location thinking I would not feel confident to recommend it to my clients - It was a great stay for 7 of us before our family holiday to Japan The room was not clean. I stayed the weekend before and felt the same way. To be honest I would not recommend it to my clients as a place to stay over night,unfortunately it is a great location and I have stayed 3 times. This time the floor had dirt on it….not vacuumed. The bathroom was dirty…..hair in the shower
- Siti (8/5): Highly reccomend - Helpful staff good vibes . There are curtains and a little light in each bed The facilities are fun! Gym and cinema room The phone access for rooms is a little finicky. Convenient but it takes a minute or two to open.
- Samuel (1/5): Best to avoid - The staff were very friendly. The property was well located. The gym and cinema room were a really nice touch. It was really useful having a kitchen to be able to save some money whilst travelling and cook in. This place was the dirtiest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was dirty with bits on the floor, the drains smelt, I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. The shared kitchens, although useful, were filthy. There were dead cockroaches in the smaller one and people just didn’t clean up after themselves. The shared areas had squished cockroaches on the floor. Then one night we woke up at 2am to cockroaches crawling on us in the bed. I went down to reception and told staff. They couldn’t move us as they were full, but gave us some bug spray and said it was normal in Sydney to get cockroaches. Credit to them in the morning they apologised, and said they would move us, but we weren’t confident a new room would be any better so we asked for a refund which was granted and we left. The staff were helpful in this situation, but maintaining the property more could mitigate this happening again in the future.

- Georgina (3/5): Great location but mediocre facilities - if you’re looking for cheap and good location and don’t mind sacrificing qualit - Great location and friendly staff. Also good communal spaces It wasn’t particularly clean - our en suite wasn’t great and don’t think it was cleaned during in our stay. There was also a ventilation issue leading to damp in our room which wasn’t addressed
- Calderon (7/5): good - location, very close to city; The kitchen was always dirty, just like the shower and toilet in my room, full of hair and fluff for the whole 3 nights I stayed in, even tho I did not check out, and multiple of my roomies did; No one cleaned or sanitised the shower or toilet.

- Alexander (5/5): Not a bad hostel. Little Drifters Glebe and Melbourne are better though. - Modern, air conditioned (when roomates don’t turn it off - this should be centrally controlled). Not very clean. Needs far more cleaning time. Kitchen and dining room get HOT. AC should be centrally controlled

- Jamil Locker (3/5): DO NOT STAY HERE!!! - The bed were comfortable Not enough bathrooms, no inside common area after 9 so you bed is the only place to sit everything has a charge. I get like I was catfished extremely disappointed if I could id request a refund DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

- Sarah (6/5): Cheap but still wouldn’t bother - Friendly staff The location. I felt uncomfortable walking around the local area. The bathroom was dirty constantly because people were walking shoes into the bathroom and the drainage system wasn’t get so it was wet and the two combined just made the bathroom dirty. When I arrived the room was really dirty and rubbish was absolutely everywhere. I don’t think this was down to staff but instead the guests within the room. I was a bit older than the others in my room (I’m late 20’s) and they were all very hostile and selfish. I waited an hour to go to the toilet because someone was doing their makeup. Another day, I waited nearly an hour for a shower because someone was curling their hair. The bed was not that comfortable but it was ok.

- Elizabeth (10/5): My stay at Little Drifter was excellent. A truly enjoyable experience! - This was my first time staying in hostel accommodation, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The staff were fantastic - friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The room and ensuite were spotless, with fresh sheets and everything neatly maintained. I also enjoyed meeting other visitors; everyone was welcoming, easy to interact with, and genuinely kind. Little Drifter has such a positive, uplifting vibe, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. There was nothing I disliked about my stay. A clean room, welcoming environment and exceeded expectations.

Staff not great at responding, never on the desk. Bit of a maze to find our room. Guests in the next room were very noisy and due to a large crack under the door, it was very easy to hear them.

After requesting a TV remote, eventually a faulty TV remote was left in our room. The bathroom towels were small, stale and not changed during our 3 day stay. Absolutely NO customer service !

- Isabell (10/5): AMAZING - I had a great stay at Drifter Hostel! The location in Surry Hills is perfect – lots of cafés and restaurants nearby, and the city is easy to reach. The hostel is modern, clean, and the staff were always friendly and helpful:) I especially liked the cinema and gym – perfect for meeting other travelers or to chill. Would definitely come back!

- Victoria (7/5): - Las cortinas en las camas y la conexión eléctrica para cargar celulares, baterías, laptop, etc. Ona y Cloe fueron personas que trabajan ahí, fueron muy eficientes, amables y resolutivas con mini inconvenientes que tuve.

- Lara (5/5): Ein social Hostel, das keinen Platz für soziale Aktivitäten bietet. - Tagsüber gab es einen schönen Außenbereich. Der Außenbereich wurde ab 21:00 geschlossen. Danach gab es keine Aufenthaltsflächen mehr. Die Betten waren sehr instabil, sobald sich die Person über oder unter einem bewegt hat, ist man wach geworden. Es war außerdem hellhörig. Und unser 12er Dorm hatte nur ein Badezimmer, in dem es eine Toilette und eine Dusche gab. Dementsprechend war dieses immer besetzt und schnell wieder dreckig.

- TatiGiulia (10/5): A wonderful staff - The staff was wonderful, helpful, kind, and attentive to the needs of their guests. They organized events for all guests, such as a completely free Christmas lunch. I had a great time with Ona and Sara, and we spent some fun evenings together.the nicest ones in the hostel!!
