• Lois (5/5): Comfortable and convenient for our short stay. - Having 2 Queen beds and reasonable close to the hospital and other amenities. Also allowing us to have our dog there even though their policy about pets has changed. The small back garden area was nice to use. It was tiny and the bathroom needed repairing and updating. No sink to wash-up utensils etc or a tea towel. The room was rundown and needed fixing and updating of things but they are in the process of doing this because the motel has just changed ownership

• Nikita (1/5): Terrible, DO NOT STAY HERE! Truly an awful experience. - Nothing it was truly awful experience. The business has refused to refund me. The room was dirty, with mold growing out of the aircon and mold in the shower and dirt and pet hair all over the floor. There were sooo many bugs that flew into the room at night, I had to out a towel down over the door crack to stop as many coming in. The bed had grass fleas and the owner said it was comman, because of the cane fields and that all other accomadation would also have them. You had to loan out kitchen utensils if you wanted to use the kitchette.

• Danniel (9/5): A modestly priced, pet friendly motel with great service. - Jasen, the operator of the motor inn is accommodating and friendly, and gave us a call unprompted to let us know our room was ready early if we required, which I appreciated, and also followed up later in the day with instructions on how to access our room out of hours as we were running late. He was a pleasure to deal with. The room itself appeared to be in the process of exterior renovation, however the interior was clean and tastefully decorated in neutral beachy tones. Much nicer than I expected for the modest price point. The common gardens/courtyard area is nice and well maintained and lovely little crafty touches, and catered well for the pet owning customers (one of the few motels or hotels in the area that allow pets also) The shower was hot, pressure high, but a bit short in height as the shower floor is raised.. but that's being picky as I am 6' tall. The common room facilities are all there.. jug, toaster, cups, utensils and, conveniently, a full sized fridge. The basin is shared with the bathroom. The chocolates on arrival was a nice touch. Not a lot to take issue with, considering the price point. If anything, the cigarette smoke from guests outside adjoining rooms can become irksome.

• Ian (10/5): One word BRILLIANT, I strongly recommend this motel and I will be back to stay there again. - The design of the property having a front entrance going into a spacious room with and going through to the rear into a lovely well maintained garden setting at the rear, with funny signs, quirky ornaments. The room was clean and comfortable with with all the amenities you would need, including complimentary tea and coffee, an electric jug, toaster, cutlery, crockery, microwave and the choice of having breakfast, lunch or dinner made for you by Karen or Jason and I think Charlie might also helps out. It also has a clean well maintained pool that was starting to get a little chilly for me when I stayed. If you like to cook for yourself, rather than going out or have a meal cooked for you, the BBQ area at the pool enclosure I found was nice and easy. The hosts Jason and Karen couldn’t be more helpful, they are about the nicest and most helpful hosts I have come across when starting in any motel. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. There was nothing not to like, clean, tidy, ppl friendly and pet friendly.

Karen and Jason were particularly helpful as to what was on in Bundaberg and where to go for good food. Kids stuff to do, etc. Was a great place to stay, and if I had the choice again, I would not hesitate to make another stay. Nothing major. There was no washing up sink in the room. However, the managers kindly offered to wash our dishes for us as a solution.

• Holly (8/5): Older Motel Good Buget Option - The manager was very accommodating and helpful. The room was a decent size and the kitchenette facilities were good. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Good space for your car at the front of the unit. We didn't take a pet but it's nice that you have the option to have pets with you in the motel. The rooms are not soundproof. The traffic from one of the nearby main roads was quite loud and you will hear all the movements of fellow guests coming and going.
