Please note that reception hours are: Monday-Friday 9:00 until 21:00. Saturday-Sunday 10:00 until 20:00. If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Byer Fountain Motor Inn in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Closed on weekends and public holidays. Until further notice, our kitchen will run from Monday to Friday for room service only between 18:00 to 20:00. Please note that unfortunately our swimming pool is closed until further notice due to repairs and maintenance. 24-hour check-in available. Seasonal pool closure in winter.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Sharon (1/5): We entered tryed to have a shower and left 20mins later it was the most discusting place I’ve ever been in my life. - Nothing Everything. It’s was dirty, very old and in bad disrepair. The beds were like a plank and the pillows were like a wet bag of concrete. The room was full of some kind of flying bug. There were at least 20 or more.

The motel was advertised as having a restaurant and meals delivered to your room. We found out when booking that the restaurant was closed, and it would be a few months before it might be reopened. This was explained to me by the new owner.

Donna (3/5): I know it is a budget motel but I expect something a bit cleaner and at least some amenities supplied such as shampoo an - the location was good the bathroom needs a good clean. Long hairs on the wall, shower glass dirty. No shampoo or conditioner supplied. One liquid soap mixture was meant to clean you all over! no hair dryer, had to go chase one up. Place needs a good makeover.

My phone stuck to the bedside table it was sticky and very old No hand basin in the bathroom but it was in the kitchen area that was also the kitchen sink The crockery and cutlery was stowed in the microwave The reason for that I leave to you The shower looked to us was a no go area so we passed on the The restaurant was “under renovation “ I saw no evidence of work in the area It was all a big scam. The fountain looked like it hadn’t run in years and the pool would be OK had you taken every vacation available

The room was comfy and clean. I think the exterior/roadside part of the motel could do with a bit of a tidy up. Keep the lawn mowed, hedge the shrubbery and pull the weeds out near the front of the building.

Could have been insect spray or carpet deoderiser. Made me feel very ill 😞 The internet pics look a lot newer than the actual room. May flying ants in the shower, toilet and basin/kitchen area. A lot of mould and dirt around the base of the toilet area. Chip board cupboards weren’t good. The whole unit needed a makeover. Very disappointed.
