- Jacinta (2/5): Run down, dirty, noisy, overpriced. - There was not much to like. The room was filthy and very beat up. It was impossible to sleep with the noise of traffic, other guests and noisy plumbing. The photos showed a renovated room and bathroom. This was certainly not the room we got. We paid the same amount the night before and the night after at different places and got beautifully clean and comfortable accommodation. Do not book.

- Andrew (1/5): Ripped off completely - Y motel is not as advertised there is no restaurant nor bar . After a long day of travelling we were looking forward to a nice swim then eating at the motel with no more driving. Instead on arrival the person at reception informed me that the restaurant had been closed for a couple of years . I pointed out the web site it clearly stated restaurant bar and pool. At this point to exhausted we went to our room to have a swim however the pool hadn’t been cleaned. Next morning thought we would have a swim before getting back on the road however the pool had still not been cleaned. To rub salt into the wound in the room on the bench was the motel information guide still with the restaurant and bar details after all this time still they hadn’t removed. I personally would never go back to this motel we were tricked and if we would have known the truth we would have found another motel.

- Mahi (2/5): - Customer service While the customer service was actually quite good—she was responsive and picked up calls whenever needed—the building itself was a major issue that she unfortunately couldn’t do much about. It’s a pretty old building, and the room I received wasn't the same as what was advertised online. My first room had two big holes in the walls, which looked very old, and the space itself was quite smelly. The toilet wasn’t great either, with green mould on the taps and ants in the shower. I was swapped to a different room the next day to provide a better experience, and while it looked better, the smell was still the same. To make matters worse, there were no plugs near the bed to charge my phone, and no provided drinking water; the only option was the bathroom tap, which tasted like chemicals. There was also no exhaust fan to get rid of the bathroom smells. The cleaning service was just as disappointing; they cleaned the first time without changing the sheets, and when I asked again, they only changed the sheets without cleaning the room. On top of that, the aircon was shit—no matter how low I set it, it wouldn't cool down and the room stayed humid. Even the TV didn't work for Netflix or YouTube. It’s a shame because the service was friendly, but the room conditions were simply not up to standard.

- Lee (10/5): - Firstly the staff and management we kind and helpful,at all times during my 4 day stay there the rooms are pristine clean well furbished with all your needs one of the most outstanding features about the spacious modern rooms is there bathrooms and solid hot water pressure for showers after long drives on the highway I seriously recommend this motel that also has a large pool on site that is family friendly to cater for little children it includes a large privately enclosed grass area with barbecue table surrounded by trees and beautiful wildlife. This is an ideal five star motel to stay at rooms all serviced daily the price compared to other motel is outstanding for all numbers they all so have a cheap laundry service on site and the motels information folders are full of value in supporting your trip and local business availability. I have stayed at some of the best motels across Australia and as far facilitates and cost for value goes and a hard working family business goes the (Y Motel) deserves the public's attention and visit, it is a little hard to see off the (M1 Highway) in Nicholls road Mokland,Gympie but seek it out you will not be disappointed staying there for great value, service , and a good night's sleep is worth the effort to seek them out.
