- Allyson (9/5): Great place to stay - Neat. Clean. Comfortable. Hard to enter from the highway
- Brian (8/5): -
- Gail (8/5): Very restful stay in a huge comfortable room. - Huge room, lovely verandah. Proper sink in main room with little kitchenette. Best budget priced motel we've stayed in. 2 comfortable arm chairs. Would love to stay longer next time.
- Doreen (6/5): -
- Donna (10/5): - Great spot. High standard of renovation. Convenient location. Noisy road. Some items need repairs.
- Karen (7/5): -
- Shane (7/5): -
- Peter Wilks (7/5): - Close to the venue I had a function at. The staff member who gave us access to the room early was very helpful and understanding.the room was clean, comfortable and warm. The tv did not work and the shower head spurted water out of the shower cubicle if it was turned up to much. Not huge issues.
- Charles (8/5): Overnight stay at Mittagong
We were happy with the place but did not like the booking process. - Proximity to our destination Booking process, confusing (I finished up making a mistake and double booked)@
- Charles (5/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): Perfect spot - Great location - clean and tidy

Only good thing was AC worked okay
- B. (9/5): pleasant comfortable no hassle stay - Spacious well aired room, with clean, neat and tidy appearance. I found the bed comfortable, and had good showers. My trip was all about that it was a convenient location to rest and sleep for the upcoming day, and that there was wifi to use in the evening. Plenty of brochures about where to get meals nearby and utensils and cooking equipment provided if wanted to bring your own food to prepare your own meals. Easy to collect room key in evening. Free parking. Facilities as advertised, what by reading the room information you should expect, you got.

- James (10/5): Love it it’s my go to everytime I go there - It’s always so clean and so friendly The access to it not fault of them but the local council could change the way to enter it
- Peter (7/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): - Provided 2 chairs so both travellers had a comfy chair .
- Marina (9/5): - The porch and the garden in front. The kitchen facilities and being able to wash up properly. Not a deal breaker but more appealing bedspreads would help😉
- Anna-louise (4/5): -
- Kate (10/5): - Great for the price. Plenty of room and comfortable.
- Nguyen (8/5): -
- Tim (6/5): Perfectly adequate - Good value for the fees It looks old and tired
- Andrew (7/5): Good value for a place to rest after a day on the road - Good location Bed not very comfortable, room wasn’t all that clean
- Kayleen (8/5): Very comfy, quiet motel. Would definitely stay again - Beds were very comfy. Linen was very clean so was bathroom and plenty of space. Room was a great size and had everything in it . Had a bit of a musty smell. Couldn't open the doors onto the verandah to sit out and enjoy the gardens. Bed doonas were a bit too bright and could probably do with more modern ones also curtins.
- Gary (10/5): -
- Nathan (10/5): nice hotel - great place nothing
- Jenny (9/5): -
- Paul (9/5): -
- alyssa (7/5): Nice cozy hotel, mostly nice staff - Very pretty location, good facilities and easy parking/checkin Friendly staff when checking in, but not so much when we where leaving the property with the cleaner
- David (7/5): -
- Jules (7/5): Everything was fine for our stay. - Was clean and comfortable. Easy parking. There was no soap in the shower and couldn't find anyone to fill it. Just a bit out of town for the functions we had to attend, so we were driving in and out a lot. This would not be an issue if we didn't have numerous things on on one day, not a problem with the property.
- Ronald (8/5): - Spacous room well laid out.
- Peter (10/5): We always stay at Poplars because they are humble but excellent for all our needs. - Poplars are modest but very thoughtful.
I love the washing up cloth instead of the throw away ones. It is difficult driving in from the road.
- Catheirne (10/5): -
- Glenn (1/5): What an experience!! - The price. No one to check us in.
Bed was hard as a rock.
Pillows were like tissues.
Property owner rude as. Didn’t take our deposit off the bill, so when questioned about it went off her head.
Needle bottle found in drawer
- Bernadette (10/5): -
- Mann (8/5): -
- Paul (6/5): It suited our purposes, but wouldn't stay again or recommend - Comfortable bed, nice shower Horrible old dirty looking carpet, no face washers, soap dispenser empty, very dark, dated and run down decor, horribly dated room with no personal touches or effort.
- Helen (10/5): - Perfect for a traveller.
- Ross (9/5): -
- Ian Clark (6/5): - Good location if travelling north No bed making or bins done
- lisa (10/5): excellent motel very clean and very comfortable - it was away from down town..id just driven for 16 hours, so i got the last room, late @ night..bed was so comfortable, kettle, microwave, shower strong, not a drizzle, soooo quiet..
- jo-ann (3/5): Would never stay there again - Comfortable but noisy Hot water screamed every time anyone turned it on.
Was very annoying
Outside was fairly messy
- Thomas (8/5): -
- Peter (8/5): - Parking outside room. Nuclear.e room. Slightly out of town so short drive into town. Beld a little ha4d for us.
- Rohan (9/5): Comfortable stay in a clean and comfortable room in a very nice location - Seamless check in, clean and comfortable room, helpful staff, nice location. All amenities were provided in the room. Just a couple of minor things - a dress was hanging in cupboard left by previous occupants and probably missed by the cleaners and the soap/shampoo containers in the shower were loose.
- Joanne (5/5): Only if you’re desperate - Beds were ok and kitchen facilities were ok Traffic noise was bad and the outside tables and patio were dirty
- Alan (9/5): -
- Balarka (9/5): Good stopover between Canberra and Wollongong. Will stay again. - Spacious room. Very handy to have basic kitchen facilities. Good value for money. Road was a little noisy but nothing that kept me awake.
- Angela (10/5): -
- Trish (8/5): Surprisingly comfortable having had read poor reviews. - Good size room with comfortable chairs to relax in.
Bed was comfortable. Adequate facilities. Tha The gardens are tired. Old broken furniture in the carpark
- Janette (5/5): - Easy to locate Room quite tired and in need of painting and clean walls. Surrounds had fixtures leaning on buildings and upturned chair. Verandah to rooms - paths needed a good sweep
- Laura (1/5): -
- stephanie (8/5): - Good location for our needs Bed not very comfortable
- katherine (8/5): -
- Frances (5/5): - The room smelt of damp
- Margaret (8/5): Good facilities. - The room was large and refurbished. There was a verandah on both sides of the room.. It had a kitchenette and microwave so we could heat food. It was great to have a sink to wash dishes. The room had lots of power points so we could charge our phones and devices easily. The motel is about 4 klm out of Mittagong.
- Michael (7/5): - Good budget accommodation. Nice garden setting. Size of rooms is overstated.
- Judith (8/5): -
- Ben (10/5): -
- Chris (7/5): -
- Rhys (7/5): Nice Motel Stay in Mittagong - The Accommodation was more than satisfactory for our needs, we stayed for one night as we passed through up to the Blue Mountains. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very good too.
- Denise (8/5): - Easy location to stop south of Sydney. Large room with lounge chairs.
- MARY STEPHEN (9/5): - The environment Nothing really
- Darren (5/5): - Hmm Not very clean inside nor out
- Darren (4/5): - Hmm Not very clean inside nor out
- Christiene (8/5): -
- Meagan (4/5): Disappointed we left there scratching and no sleep bed was uncomfortable the worst place we have - The bed was making us itchy and really uncomfortable
- Simone (9/5): Convenient and cosy, yet spacious room - It’s the perfect stop over to us on our way up and back from a Byron bay holiday. Self check in, dated yet cost and comfy rooms for our family to rest up between 2 big days of driving. The beds could have been comfier but they were fine
- Rod I (7/5): Good with a few disappointing isdues as noted above - Location and access. It was advertised as''PET Friendly'' which contradicted the sign on the office door and in the room
Aircon was extremely noisy
- Peter (7/5): - Separate rooms for sleeping and kitchen chairs and tables. The bathroom was tiny and we were located to the entry/exit which was not all that satisfactory.
- Andrew (5/5): - Location it's is close to Mittagong 5min drive Old ,untidy grounds very dated. My room was so dark I needed to turn the lights on during the day.
- GRACE (8/5): - Good value for money Relarively far from restaurants & cafes.
- Andrea (8/5): -
- Vasu.v.22 (10/5): -
- angelbaby1 (8/5): -
- Boermans (8/5): -
- Cheryl (8/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): Great location nice comfortable rooms - Clean Rooms
- JMS (7/5): - Clean, easy check in / out process No extra toilet rolls (only one)
- Monique (4/5): - Needs updating ! Our unit needed to have a fresh coat of paint !! Towels were all odd colours !! Gardens need to be attended as do the lawns !!
- Beth (7/5): -
- Wendy (8/5): As an overnight stay, the place was perfectly comfortable. - Pleasant surrounds and very quiet. The location necessitated a drive of a few km into town which might not suit everyone.
- Laraine (8/5): older style motel out of town, with good parking. - The Motel is old style yet comfortable.
Large room with a balcony. If you were a light sleeper the road noise might be a factor.
If you are tired it is not an issue.
- Kathryn (8/5): Very nice overnight stay. Will be quite suitable for future trips travelling with elderly parents. - Room and sheets were fresh and clean and the location was great for a traveller (not too far off the highway). The lady in charge was pleasant and helpful and the area felt safe and secure. Decor was interesting and colourful! Great value for money, especially in the holiday season. Rudimentary linen supplied, only a towel, no bathmat or washer etc, not a dealbreaker especially for the price, but Fresh milk and biscuits would have been a BONUS!!!
- Anne (8/5): We had a pleasant stay. - The position was good-easy to access the southern highlands towns. It is on a busy old highway but was very quiet at night. The room had been renovated nicely and it particularly pleased us that it had a small kitchenette with a sink! The club chairs to sit in and watch the television instead of having to perch on the bed were also very much appreciated! The gardens need a bit of attention as do the various gazebos scattered throughout the garden.
- Greg (8/5): -
- Claire (4/5): Won’t be staying again … Tired decor, rundown, miles from any shops or facilities - Cheaper than most other options - but once arrived it was self explanatory why cheaper rate! Long distance away from town, or anything! Very very rundown and poorly equipped. Doubtful it’s a 4 star establishment. At best maybe 1.5 stars.
- Peter (7/5): -
- Pauline (8/5): It was very comfortable and pleasant. Enjoyed a quiet evening and a good nithg sleep. - The room was comfortable and clean, bedding was perfect. liked that there is a little kitchenette eating facility. everything was fine for a one night stay.
- Phillip (4/5): The room was pleasant but the property was extremely poorly maintained and presented. - The inside of the room was pleasa. The outside areas were dirty and VERY UNTIDY and VERY POORLY presented.
