• Andee43 (10/5): - What an amazing place and what delightful hosts Kerri-ann and Steven are. The whole experience was stress free, from the free airport transfer upon arrival, the freshly baked and still warm coconut cake waiting on the kitchen bench. The half day island tour, which was included and arranged for the next day, to being able to keep the (also included) rental car until our departure time, and 'just leave it at the airport with the keys in, we'll find it'. That just about summed up the whole, relaxed Norfolk experience. The accomodation was spacious, super clean and very comfy. All mod cons and everything you needed to make it a home from home. It was quiet and private ( if you don't count the numerous wild chooks wondering around!:) We really loved it and would absolutely stay there again. Not a thing!

• Sharls (10/5): A great holiday - Kerri-Ann and Steve met us on arrival and showed us to the apartment. The apartment was more than we expected, clean and comfortable. We all loved the cake Kerri-Ann left us in the apartment on arrival. We would highly recommend to our friends and family to stay at Channers if visiting Norfolk Island. That we had to leave.
• Kerrie (10/5): Generous hosts, wonderful accommodation. - Kerri-Ann and Steve were exceptionally welcoming hosts. They were always happy to help with whatever we needed and were particularly caring and thoughtful when it came to my elderly mum. The apartment was clean and spacious with every imaginable amenity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending Channers to others. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

Channers was also near a number of great restaurants, such as Hilli's and Bailey's. The set up was really comfortable, with there being everything you needed, and the hosts were truly lovely. I really could not find anything to dislike.

• Malcolm (10/5): Just amazing location and amenities - What a great decision we made to stay at Channers. The amenities were amazing, including getting the use of a car during our stay. Everything inside and outside was so very clean. We loved the extras, just too many to list, but will try to list a couple of standouts: the electric BBQ, the stunning outdoor area, the mobile phone connected to the islands phone service, and everything you could want in a home away from home. Steve and Kerri Ann were so welcoming, even providing us with some delicious coconut cake. The location was also fabulous, just a short walk from town, so we could eat out and walk home. Would definitely stay again when we return to beautiful Norfolk Island. There was absolutely nothing to not like.

• Helen (10/5): Wonderful stay on beautiful Norfolk - Beautiful location and view of the ocean. Lovely property and home made coconut cake on arrival. Nothing. We loved it all.
• Peter (10/5): We loved every minute of it. - Steve and Kerri-Ann were exceptionally helpful, and provided us with snorkelling sets and beach chairs free of charge to use throughout our stay. Having a car included in the room rate was a real bonus, and Steve allowed us to just leave the car at the airport on our departure. The unit was very well appointed and having voice-activated Alexa took care of all our music needs effortlessly. The central location of Channers allows for an easy walk to several of the best restaurants, cafes and shops in Burnt Pine, and just a few minutes drive to the golf course. We really recommend Channers to visitors to beautiful Norfolk Island. Nothing at all.
• Andrew (9/5): Superb - It was the perfect base for us and having a full kitchen was a real bonus. We used it a lot. Meals out are not cheap, even in the RSL and Bowlers Club and the quality is variable. There are good restaurants, but they are expensive, so having some meals at home was an obvious solution. The chickens were fun every morning and having the car as part of the accommodation was fantastic as you really do need one. The ants. Even the slightest scrap of food on a plate or a utensil will attract a lot of tiny ants, so important to clean thoroughly in the kitchen. Easy fix though, (just clean up thoroughly) so a very minor issue.
• Nola (8/5): Fantastic - Location was great, friendly hosts. The balcony was overlooking the roof tops of other buildings but if it had been positioned on the side of the kithchen or the front of the lounge it would have been so much nicer to sit outside. Only negative.

• Kevin (10/5): Garden-beauty Channers is the place - We had a wonderful time at Channers which suited us perfectly. Set in beautiful gardens, within walking distance to the shopping centre, and with a neat little car included in the price. We stayed at Apartment One in the original homestead, and we had loads of room and lots of comfort among the beauty of Norfolk Island. We will definitely be visiting again.
• Reyer (10/5): - Located at the end of the main shopping street, handy location. Nice unit. Had everything we needed. Unit was not used for a while and therefore a bit dusty, but was cleaned straightaway. We planned to bike, but as the island is pretty steep in places having a car available was very useful. Kerry Ann was very helpful and a wonderful host.

• Ele (10/5): Possibly the best so far and definitely good value for money. - Kerrie and Steve have created a small paradise at Channers - for example, very comfortable, very well appointed kitchen, laundry, fresh towels mid-week but mostly we were made to feel so welcome - right down to a home baked welcome cake on arrival! The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave!
• Kerrie (9/5): Laid back week on a tropical island - peaceful in accommodation with amentities to self cater - everything arranged from pick up at airport to car provided as part of booking including a orientation tour of the island - hosts pleasant and accommodating with good information about the locality - very clean - everything required like picnic set and thermos , cooking utensils were all provided just what was needed for a 10 day stay including books for rainy days. Scrummy coconut cake as an arrival bonus - have bought home the recipe as it was fantastic. Just had to organise own groceries or eating out. Would highly recommend Kerri-Ann and Steve and a visit to Channers
• Johngieb (10/5): Channers provided the perfect venue for our Norfolk Island experience - Perfect location, on the edge of the Burnt Pine strip. All the inclusions including: airport transfer, 1/2 day orientation tour, car for our use, mobile phone, wifi which worked, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms in a 2 bedroom unit. Kerri-Ann and Steve are delightful hosts and greeted us with a home-made coconut cake. A homely atmosphere, perfect for those wanting to self-cater and not looking for the full resort type experience. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

• Larry (10/5): Amazing accommodation, perfect location and gracious hosts - Do not go past Channers for your stay on Norfolk Island. I travelled with my wife, step-mum and mother-in-law and stayed for a week in this paradise of accommodation. We had a fully equipped, very clean house (4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) set in lush tropical gardens with a view of the ocean and Phillip Island. We wanted for nothing at this house including free Wi-Fi and Foxtel/Netflix. There was plenty of free-range chickens and roosters running around and we were even visited by 3 pigs at our back door. We even had the use the use of a courtesy people mover vehicle and a mobile phone. Steve and Kerri -Ann were the most amazing, easy-going and gracious hosts, available if you need them but not intrusive. Kerri-Ann even provided us with a welcome gift of a homemade coconut cake. A very special touch that elevated our stay. The location is fantastic and is an easy stroll to burnt Pine. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I returned to Norfolk Island. Thank you for making us feel welcome and for making this such a special experience. What's not to like. This place is perfect.

Then when we arrived we were found the accommodation and the small complex of units were very relaxed, clean, and it was obvious that Kerry and Steve take great care in offering a wonderful property . The hire car included in the price was really convenient Thankyou We normally book units with a view, which Channers on Norfolk don't have in some of the smaller units, but the location close to the restaurants, cafes and shops is more of the bonus.

Our hosts Kerri-Ann and Steve were so friendly and welcoming. Our little home away from home was very clean and had everything you would need plus some grocery items from the hosts with a beautiful cake in our room upon arrival. We were given the use of a car as well which was a big bonus. The grounds are so quiet and peaceful surrounded by flourishing gardens. We highly recommend Channers on Norfolk as it's close to town, just a short walk. Thankyou so much for making our stay relaxing and memorable. I would definitely stay there again. We loved everything about Channers on Norfolk. I really can't find anything we didn't like.

• Dana (10/5): Beautiful stay at the Channers - We had number 6, a beautiful, clean, large ensuite accommodation, with furnished covered back and front porches, airy and light; we also had access to a fully equipped laundry, including pegs. Kerri-Ann was very helpful and welcoming. Location is perfect, walking distance to the shops, cafes, museum and the airport. Our deal included a small car, which is recommended on an island where hiring a car might prove difficult. The property is surrounded by lovely gardens. Thank you for a great stay Kerri-Ann! • Kate (10/5): Beautiful apartment and amazing hosts - We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment with our 18 month old daughter and it was perfect with everything you could need. The gardens are lovely and the apartments super clean, comfy and tastefully furnished. We were provided a highchair and cot free of charge which was great. The owners who live onsite are super lovely and helpful. We were baked a fresh cake on arrival which was delicious. Its also really close to town and the historical area of Kingston and the only swimming beach. Would highly recommend staying here.

• Peter (10/5): Lovely place to spend a week - We stayed in the upstairs suite, which has lovely views and a cozy atmosphere. Our hosts went to great lengths to help us enjoy our stay, tracking down children's toys and extra kitchen utensils when we asked, and even going as far as building a toddler-proof gate at the top of the stairs to keep our 1-year-old daughter safe for the week. I still feel like I should've paid them extra for the "concierge" service! Their hire car was very convenient, being parked outside our room ready to go as soon as we arrived, and we were able to drop it off at the airport ourselves, giving us time to do last-minute shopping on our final morning.
• Vanessa (10/5): Beautiful holiday home, perfect location - We could not have been happier with our stay at Channers - it exceeded our expectations in every way. Channers is comprised of several self-contained units and one large house - 'Channers by the C' - which is where we were lucky enough to stay. We loved everything about the house, but the highlights were the stunning views of Phillip Island, huge sheltered outdoor BBQ patio (with same view) and beautiful lush gardens (which we had completely to ourselves and came complete with several chickens and Richard the Rooster). The house itself was also fantastic, and with 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms our family of 4 was spoiled for space. Unusually for the island there was also free Wifi and Foxtel. The free inclusions of car hire for the duration (just fill the tank before you leave) plus a half day tour to familiarise ourselves with the island were also fantastic. The managers Steve and Kerri-Anne were lovely - very knowledgeable and helpful when we needed anything, and always available as they live on-site, while still giving us complete space and privacy throughout our stay. The house was the perfect base for all our activities - with a beautiful, peaceful rural setting while still in a central location in walking distance to shops and cafes.I'd recommend Channers by the C to anyone and would definitely go back there. I'd also recommend Norfolk Island to anyone looking for a great family holiday, particularly for younger kids as it's so safe and friendly with heaps to do.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Not what the photos show - We thought it was shabby and needed a bit of work. The BBQs were too dirty to use and the area which had a nice view needed a good clean up. Only one change of towels for a week stay. Never saw any staff except on arrival.
