• Shana (4/5): - The hostel is in a good location, close to everything. The room didn’t have curtains in the female dorms, unlike the mixed dorms. It was very noisy due to the bar next door. The bathrooms were not always clean. The staff were rude and we also had to ask for pots and pans, which is very disappointing for a hostel. It’s not worth the price.

• Esmeralda kelly (1/5): the worst hostel in my life - Nothing the worst hostel in Darwin, a lot people drunk, some people stole your things, i think for woman no is safe, and also the administration is shit because given the same bed for 2 people, then that coming in problems. The kitchen is small for crowded people, there not have any cooking utensils.

• Ofri (6/5): Not the cleanest - The pool area and communal areas were nice and cosy. The showers are nice. Location is good. And it's relatively cheap compared to other options The rooms and hallways were not the cleanest. The pillow was very flat and the rooms are quite cold, and they ask not to turn off the ac. So I had to ask for a blanket, which I believe had bed bugs, since I woke up with bites all over my body. Could get loud.

• Yating (1/5): It’s not for everyone or staying over 1 day as it’s very loud. - This hostel is one of the Darwin’s loudest hostels, the other one is MOM. The music and party go on every single day from early midday to later 11pm, and its location is in the midst of the bars of city, the noise outside of the hostel can still be heard clearly after 11pm and the music goes on whole night on weekends times.

She looked at me sarcastically when I asked if I could rent another pillow as the one provided was so thin I may aswell have slept on the mattress. Showers was cold every time

• Cameron (6/5): Nice budget option and a good vibe could be so much better with improved staff and recourses - I liked the location The social atmosphere and party vibe was great Awesome pool area Music all the time was good The staff were really rude, the night shift Indian guy would roll his eyes when he had to open the door for new arrivals no customer service or any welcome just negative. But even during the day any staff member I encountered seemed angry when asking simple questions and like we were a nuisance. A more friendly vibe from staff would be nice. Also cleanliness wasn’t great in the hostel And they had no blankets available gets cold in dry season at night. No cutlery didn’t even have a fork ? No kettle in kitchen and tap they had didn’t push out boiling water

• Jose (2/5): A disappointing and overpriced stay - Location was perfect and toilets/showers were alright. We were supposed to stay for a week but ended up leaving after just 4 days. The place was far from what we expected and honestly, quite disappointing. The kitchen was very dirty, the atmosphere was constantly loud, and the bed was terrible, really uncomfortable. The staff was just okay, nothing special. Wi-Fi didn’t even reach our room, and when we tried using it in common areas, it was extremely slow. It felt more like a party hostel with a pool, not a place to rest or feel comfortable. And yes, I am a backpacker, but this place felt really low-quality, and to make it worse, it was way too expensive for what it offered. Wouldn't recommend unless you're a young teeneager only looking for party vibes and nothing else.

• Aime1005 (8/5): Good location, good-sized bedroom and good value of money - Good location for a hostel, staff is very friendly and helpful. Cleaners everyday to swap the bedsheet/ clean the room, pretty decent size, and good value of money - I paid about 700 for a double bed room with my partner, for about 8 days. The fridge is a bit mouldy, and because we are located at the main street, sometimes it's a bit loud (due to traffic and a pub right next to it - Shenanigans), but it was manageable.

It has all the facilities of a large Backpacker Hostel . Only there over night , so no issues

• Kate (8/5): Small rooms, big kitchen - I liked how spacious the kitchen/dining room area. Breakfast provided was great. Had your own locker. I also liked that you had your own plate for the duration of your stay. Towels provided The room size was a little small. I wish we had plug sockets near the bed, we had to share 2 sockets between 4 people, no where near your own bed.

I loved the people at the hostel, this is what made my stay even better. the pool was nice and I had a quiet room. If the beds had curtains it would be perfect, however this wasn't a huge issue for me.
• Dornelles (3/5): Very poor dirty little place. - The staff was friendly and the location was great. That's probably about it in terms of pos. The rooms look like jail cells and are filthy. My bedsheets were dirty when I arrived. Also the windows are broken, making the aircon inefficient. Talking about the aircon, they are so old that they sound like an airplane turbine just next to your ears, making the sleeping a challenge.

• Kristina (5/5): Ok ish if you are a good sleeper and need just bed/shower - Nice pool, comfortable location , surprisingly clean and good shared bathrooms Bed could be more comfortable, cockroaches (not many, but still), as super central location between several pubs and nightclubs, very loud. Also fire alarm went off 2 times in 5 nights, so I guess it’s happening often
• Lirria (10/5): Excellent place -need to book well ahead of wanting a room to oneself! - I was pleasantly surprised at the size of room 401! The double bed was very comfy! Ensuite was a good size & having a fridge was a bonus! Clothes rack was excellent too! I loved the thick towels in my room too! I saw staff cleaning the kitchen & changing the sheets on the dsy beds next to the wonderful pool so place is kept clean! It was next door to ‘Shenanigans’ where they have $8 pints and the band playing was fabulous! Coles & Woolies are nearby! Plenty of taxis about gif the airport run the next morning. I really thought it was all positive - esp being able to still use the pool & have towels to use & bathroom to use as well as the kitchen even though we had to vacant the room by 10am!!! The only very small thing was having lots of shampoo but no hair conditioner?

• Felipe (1/5): This place is a rip-off - Location is not bad, very centric. There are no proper AC connectors for each bed, and everything is dirty, under the beds, around the bed frames, and floors; the light beds do not work. The toilets and the showers are disgusting 98% of the time. Breakfast is just a piece of cheap bread or cheap sugary cereal. They promote they do free food and drinks events for the people in the hostel, but it is a complete scam, the food doesn't even last 5 minutes and they stop giving drinks just because "people are not behaving with the bartenders", who in fact, are the slowest I have ever seen. Management is not capable of responding to booking doubts and booking.com doesn't even have proper customer services that answer on time or with the right information. For last, be prepared to pay for using your food plates and utensils.

• Francesca (4/5): Noisy but cheap accomodation. - Location, proximity to waterfront. Reception open 24h. It was very noisy. The AC was on, controlled only by the reception and very very loud - also perhaps in those days it was not needed. The fridge as well. You could also hear the AC machine functioning from the other rooms and the live music across the road. Also, people passing by in the corridors didn't really care and were loud. We stayed only 2 nights, we didn't use the kitchen but, having experienced other backpackers hostels in AUS, this one looked dirty and messy. The bathroom is large but really outdated. For the price we paid and the short time we spent there, is ok but I wouldn't go back.
