- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointed - The view from the apartment is spectacular and it was very clean, however, there are a few things that were disappointing and impacted on our overall experience. Firstly, it was unbelievably hot and there are no aircons in any of the bedrooms. The aircon in the living area is on a timer and when I asked management to take it off we were told we would just have to get up and put it on through the night. The fans in the living area couldn’t be turned on by us and I asked management for some help which was not forthcoming until checkout we were told there’s a remote switch. The pool doesn’t open till 8am which is late considering it’s light at 5 and you can’t sleep because of the heat. This is supposed to be a deluxe accommodation and the little annoying things made it very overpriced. I could not recommend this property.

- Wesley (10/5): Great view and great service - We arrive the apartment late, and Manager Peter arrange the keys to us very well, thanks for the support. The view is exactly the photos you watched in the website, no Photoshop, and the location is near the Glink, Surfer Paradise and city centre. Apartment inside is clean and tidy, the balcony is the best place to enjoy the breakfast. Unfortunately the room besides are under refurbishment, but they still keep quiet and clean, well done.

- Gary (8/5): Quiet apartment close to Surfers Paradise. - Spectrum is a well located Apartment in a quiet area close to Surfers Paradise. Lovely views over the river and parkland are assets. The older style apartment was spacious and well designed. Public transport is a short walk away. We would happily stay there again.

The place had a very strong smell unless the doors were open. The comforter on one of the beds was dirty. Considering it’s a minimum of three night stay, we expected more supplies, like dishwasher soap and toilet paper.

However, the apartment was clean, great views as we were on the 15th floor, close to all eateries, shops & beaches. Spectrum Holiday Apartments will be one of our choices of accommodation again when we visit the Gold Coast.

- aimee (8/5): Theme Park Holiday - We spent 4 nights in a newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Highlights: - 2 Balconies and a great view over the river - The apartment was clean, near immaculate - Hassle-free late check-in - Secure FREE underground parking. - Convenient location. Easy driving distance from theme parks and walking distance to the centre of Surfers Paradise. - friendly reception staff - sauna and HUGE indoor spa Lowlights: - VERY thin, white curtains blocked very little light. While I'd definitely recommend this hotel, I'd suggest asking about the bedroom curtains when you book. I was staying in a room facing the east and by 6am each morning I was wide awake and able to read a book without turning the light on. My brother resorted to sleeping in the loungeroom one night determined to sleep-in past sunrise haha. I did speak to a lady and reception and she took notes to pass on to the owner so this may not be an issue for long. - 1 towel per person. If you want a 2nd towel for the spa, hire is $5/towel (just buy one from KMart) - Some light construction was going on upstairs which we weren't told about. It was nothing too crazy, just hammering and sawing but did motivate us to get out of the apartment during the day when we were trying to watch a movie. (check when you're booking to see if there is any work going on in the nearby apartments). Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The apartment was clean, spacious, and practical.

- Running Mum (8/5): Family gathering - Spectrum Apartments are well appointed with all we needed for our stay. A 10 minute walk to restaurants, the beach 2 blocks away and fantastic views of the Nerang River.

Room was a little dated,but had the best views a great bed and proper Foxtel not 3or4 channels like most. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The mountains are the far left and the partial view of the sea on the right. I enjoyed many quiet moments just observing the view..... When i needed, hustle and bustle of surfers paradise is just round the corner within walking distance. Apartment is spacious and very clean. will be very comfortable for a family stay. Enjoyed the stay and hope to be back again!

- Chi (8/5): The 2 rooms apartment that I stayed - The 2 rooms apartment that I stayed was clean and comfortable. But the front desk only open from 9:00 to 18:00 Mon to Fri and half day on Sat. So you don't expect any help from the front desk. The tennis court was not a standard one but just for kids to play around. The Suna room was always turn off and so you need to wait for an hour to make the room hot. Conclusively, it's a place I recommended if you don't care about playing tennis and using the sana room.
