- anna (9/5): Highly recommend this boutique hotel - Great location for Yamba with lovely views on the top floor and 1-2 minute walk to the beach. Also very close to walk to restaurants. We especially enjoyed having access to free boogie boards (and surfboards available too) and there are bikes to borrow although we chose to just walk everywhere. In addition we really enjoyed having coffee, tea, milk and some nibbles supplied in our room and in the joint living area upstairs.

We had to drive to the local shops and restaurants…. Only a few minute drive so not to much of a burden …. I suppose we could have walked in 10-15 minutes but the hill between us and the shops was quite steep to walk :)

The location was perfect - right next to the beach and near the pub and main shops and restaurants. The rooftop pool with a view of the ocean was amazing! And so was the rooftop lounge - we got up to watch the sunrise and saw a pod of dolphins in the ocean.

We particularly enjoyed the rooftop lounge where we had coffee in the morning & a glass of wine & played cards in the evening. The hotel has lots of equipment to enhance days at the beach and two electric bikes which are available for guests use FOC, we hadn't ridden electric bikes previously but soon got the hang of them. Had a delicious meal at the nearby Sandbar Restaurant. We only stayed one night

- Marianna (10/5): Small luxury boutique hotel ! - Absolutely amazing place and service! Hotel is very beautifully designed with calm and luxurious feeling. We stayed for 2 nights and would have extended the stay if it was not fully booked. Garry is great - helped us a lot in choosing our next stops on our way to Sydney. The top floor pool and lounge are excellent! We borrowed body boards, shade and chair/ for the beach - all are free to guests to use. Extra towels to the beach also included. I especially loved the towels and bath robes! None.

It was more expensive than we wanted to pay but the room was worth it.There is a great little terrace at the back of the hotel with a fantastic view and you can grab some fresh prawns and go up there with a glass of wine and enjoy the view.

Easy walk to the pub and a few other restaurants. Great upstairs area with access to the pool and a big kitchen. Free parking underneath. The pool ladder was a bit precarious.
- Rebecca (10/5): The perfect beach escape - We had an exceptional stay at The Surf. Perfect location - right near Main Beach and Pippi Beach, and only a short walk to shops, great places to eat, and the breakwater. We stayed in the Main Beach Superior for 5 nights and it exceeded our expectations. It was well appointed, very clean and had a lovely beach view. The rooftop amenities are fantastic, and the complimentary mini bar, bikes and beach towels are a nice bonus. The service was great - very friendly. We would love to return and will definitely stay again if we're ever in Yamba. Nothing.

- Vicki (9/5): - The Surf is ideally located to the beach, also a few restaurants and cafes. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. On the top floor the pool and outdoor space was lovely, great views of the beach and ocean. Unfortunately we were on the 1st floor in room 5, it has no view only the building & rooftop of the unit block next door. Whilst i appreciate not all rooms can have a view we were disappointed.

- Melissa (10/5): Five star experience in relaxing and beautifully designed hotel. - The location and design of the property is top class. Beautiful views from our 2nd floor room and from the rooftop pool and lounge. The amenities in the lounge area for having your own drinks and snacks (preparation space) offers additional options while you stay. I enjoyed getting ice for our champagne bucket and relaxing by the rooftop pool. Proximity to the beach and restaurants is great. Host is welcoming and knowledgeable. Nothing really....
