• Julie (8/5): - Overall we had a great stay in the 2 bedroom villa! Loved the space, cleanliness and balcony. Esther and the rest of the staff were friendly and so helpful. Amazing breakfast and we also ate several other great meals in their restaurant. Fantastic space! This is a lively location with many enthusiastic divers in the front. There is a quiet pool for hotel guests in the back. Noise settled down around 10:30-11:00 each night. It was nice to be in the action indirectly but above it on the balcony. AC worked great. One knock is that I only had a hot shower once, otherwise it was barely warm. As others have said, there is a mosque right next door which wakes you up at 5 am, but that’s Gili and not something the hotel can control. Would recommend this place for those who know what they’re getting. Not suitable for someone looking for peace and quiet. Thanks for a great stay and for all your help!

• Elizabeth (10/5): 4th stay ... will return again - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Trawangan Dive Resort during my vacation in Gili Trawangan, and I cannot rave enough about this incredible place. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. One of the first things I noticed about the resort was how clean and well-maintained it is. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, providing a much-needed retreat after a long day of exploring the island. The housekeeping staff did an amazing job every day, ensuring that everything was neat and tidy. The highlight of my stay was definitely the dive center attached to the resort. The staff there were not only knowledgeable and professional but also very passionate about what they do. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I felt confident and safe during my dives. The dive sites around Gili Trawangan are simply stunning, and thanks to the expertise of the instructors, I had some truly unforgettable experiences underwater. What sets Trawangan Dive Resort apart, though, is the overall atmosphere of happiness and positivity that pervades the place. Every member of the staff seems genuinely happy to be there, which creates a contagiously joyful vibe throughout the resort. The smiles and laughter of both the employees and guests are truly infectious, making it impossible not to feel content and relaxed during your stay. • Nadia Helene (10/5): Fantastisk perle på Gili T! - Fantastisk beliggende hotel på Gili T lige ved hovedgaden og ned til dejlig strand. God service, morgenmad og rigtig godt sted at tage et open-water course med søde engelsktalende instruktører!

Men utöver det finns det inget att klaga på. Själva rummen ligger bakom receptionen så det är tyst på rummen. Vi är här under lågsäsong så inget problem med att få plats på de solstolar som finns. Skulle definitivt kunna bo här igen om vi kommer tillbaka till ön!

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great Stay! Would stay again - My stay was great. The only reason I did not give it a higher rating was because they could improve on the maintenance of the rooms. The room we were in seemed as though no one had stayed in it for a while. The curtains were really dust with spiders all over it and one of the hinges to unlock one side of the double door was broken. We reported this to the front desk and they had someone come out and fix everything immediately (they had to saw a piece of the hinge off). But the staff were sooo great and they fixed everything so quickly that it was completely fine and not a deal breaker at all. If you are staying there I suggest just sending them a message ahead of time and requesting to have the room cleaned extra thoroughly before you arrive, in case the room hasn’t been used in a while. Other than that I have no complaints and would stay again. The location was great, walking distance from where the boat docks and right on the beach. The shower was very hot. The facility is nice for the most part. Breakfast was great (buffet style). Friendly and supportive staff are really what make this place worth staying at.

The rooms were air conditioned great and we’re very clean and decorated nicely. The bed was comfy and we also got in room massages which made me almost fall asleep. Highly recommend! Their restaurant food was amazing also!

Even the shared/public washrooms next to the pool were always clean whenever I had to sneak out of the pool bar. The included breakfast was substantial. I highly recommend diving here even if you are not staying, the instructors are very patient and thorough and overall it was a phenomenal first diving experience - not once did it feel unsafe. Highly recommended.

The beach at this place can be used at any tide for swimming and snorkeling, unlike almost anywhere else on the island where reef's make it hard for swimming during low tide. Plenty of trees also on the beach for shade. It's in the heart of the action as well. Great place.

The hotel is very modern, has all the facilities you can ask for and is the place to be, highly recommended. The attached cafe/restaurant has a good menu and is able to be ordered from an upstairs view, couches by the pool or on tables or sun beds by the beach.

• Verified traveler (6/5): nice hotel but the price quite expensive - we got promo luxury double bed room but when its raining there was a leak at few location 😪 no telephone inside the room, hard to contact the reseptionist cause it was raining clean inside but not too clean outside the room (terrace) but location is in front of the beach eventhough there alot of woodsboats surrounding the beach.
• CHRISTOPHER (6/5): - It's a good place BUT it would be wrong not to mention my attempt at sleep. I've travelled to many Asian countries and slept in all standards of hotels and in people's homes, so I'm used to much firmer beds than is usual in Australia. But I have never, ever attempted to sleep on a bed as hard as at Trawangan Dive. I even tried sleeping on the pillows on top of the bed and finally gave up and slept outside on their more comfortable seating. Of course the aircon didn't work out there but hey, at least I got a couple of hours sleep

• Cydney (10/5): BEST HOTEL ON GILLI - Nothing but positive things to say about our stay at Trawangan Dive. The staff were incredible and so lovely. They even accommodated us for the day we were supposed to check out by holding onto our bags as we missed our boat transfer. The location is perfect, right on the beach and the main road of the island. Again staff were above and beyond kind to us and we will one thousand percent stay here again.

Only have 3 minor negatives, wifi in the rooms was non existent, had to keep going to reception, the beds were on the hard side and the water pressure not that good. The hotel is very well set up for scuba diving so if you are interested in lounging by the pool this may not be the hotel for you.

I really appreciated the hotel has very helpful staff, he helped me to find multi gender while Im struggling with the outlet.

Average hotel and price is reasonable with a basic buffet breakfast. If you don't like Muslim prays bring ear plugs as mosk right next door.
• Hyunah (10/5): Best place to stay in Gili T - I spent 4 nights here and got my advanced diving certification. Room was clean and new, and I really enjoyed having food right next to the beach. Staff are all very kind and helpful. I'd like to thanks to diving instructors who made my stay even more enjoyable, especially to Deni, who has been amazing guide for how to find regulator and Nick for alert everyone to see Manta ray, I will never forget this. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the overall layout of the hotel provides a feeling of privacy. I wouldn't recommend the hotel unless you were a diver as the front of the hotel and pool areas are dominated by diving courses.

• Pei Lin (10/5): Great for diving trips, pleasant stay! - It was so convenient that the dive shop/ dive preparation was just in front of the accommodation area, literally just a minute away. The new standard rooms are not luxurious but kept clean everyday, and there is a nice verandah area where we can hang our wet clothes. Breakfast was simple yet delicious, recommended! The only point that requires improvement is wifi access. The wifi was unstable and sometimes could not be accessed from the room.
• Ms. S (10/5): great place, but a bit of a walk from the harbor - This was hands down my favorite stay while I was on Gili T. the room was awesome, everything was super clean, the staff was very friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was the best one I had (and I stayed at 4 different places while I was in Gili). They supply you with a bunch of towels - some for showering, some beach towels, etc. Each room is nice and private with these wooden doors/fence with a little sitting area and some plants before you get to the actual room, which I thought was nice. The TV actually works and has english channels, also a plus. And they ACTUALLY clean your room on a daily basis (which sounds standard, but I quickly came to realize that while most places advertised daily maid service, they rarely followed through). The one thing I didn't like too much was the cleaning staff on my check-out day. Check out is at 11 am, if i recall correctly, but by around 8:30/9 AM, people kept coming in and asking if I was ready to leave yet. When I told them I wasn't leaving until 11 AM, they still kept poking their heads in (which is bothersome for a private person such as myself). But this was small potatoes.

Great location, restaurant is good (although breakfast included is not impressive, it's certainly not bad), and pictures are quite close to what u see. If you're travelling alone, it lacks a bit of socialising st the hotel area but the whole island make up for that and u won't spend much time inside the hotel anyway.

• Marnie (8/5): Great place for divers - This hotel is on the busy side of the island but is surprisingly quiet. You will hear the call to prayer but not in the room. The staff are efficient, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a bit limited in terms of selection but perfectly adequate. The beach is nice and snorkelling is not exciting but worth doing if only for the turtles. Although I didn't take diving lessons I did listen in to a couple of beginner lessons and I was quite impressed with the teaching the students received. The equipment looked well maintained. I would trust a family member to learn to dive here for sure.
• Thomas (10/5): Great Spot on Gili T - Trawangan Dive was a great place to stay. It is on the opposite side of the strip from all the big bars and music, so it was really quiet. There is a large mosque that broadcasts prayer 4 times a day, but I think most of the hotels are within earshot. The room was incredibly clean, and like other reviewers indicated, almost brand new! The patio had a ceiling fan that we adored. The pools are used mostly by divers, but we got a good swim in one of the saltwater pools which was lovely. The hotel's restaurant is on the beach side of the road, and they have beach chairs for use any time. The staff was very friendly. The strip is not very long, so everything is well within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended for an additional 2 days.
• happycamper (8/5): Happy family - Staff were so friendly and helpful, we met many different staff members and they were all delightful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. If we ever had any issue, it was fixed within hours. Other facilities were great, kids loved the pools and food was fantastic, very happy with our stay.

• Laura (8/5): Nice hotel, newly renovated - I stayed here for 6 nights and the rooms were great, the staff friendly and the location was great, right in the middle of everything. I had a great time on Gili Trawangan and enjoyed my stay at Trawangan Dive. The breakfast was awesome, the restaurant had a great BBQ at night to. A good place to stay.
• Kaila (10/5): Perfect location, friendliest staff! - We stayed a week here and absolutly loved it. You couldn't ask for a better location. The rooms are so nice, brand new pretty much. The bed is super comfortable. AC works great. The pool is great or you can literally walk across the street and be at the beach. The buffet breakfast was the best! On top of all of this, the staff are the friendliest. So smiliey and helpful all the time. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to GiliT.
• Karan (8/5): Perfect Location, Best Dive School & Friendly Staf - The hotel is located about 500mts from the fast boat arrival point. There is no motorized transport on the island so its best to either walk it (not so bad) or take a horse cart that charges about IDR 50k. The hotel is part of the dive center, so location is awesome. Its 10 mts from the beach so accessibility is not an issue + they have a beach shack with tables and sun loungers on the beach which is not charged for. The room we had was with a sit out, mini villa. Has basic amenities and was comfortable however the lack of a phone and just 1 bottle of drinking water (you need to call housekeeping to fill it, but there isnt a phone in the room!). Its private, basic and comfortable. The hotel houses one of the best PADI diving schools in Gili T, run by Adam and his girlfriend Lauren, who are extremely helpful in your run up to visit the place. We had a super experience diving, with Marco and Aakash being our dive masters. For a first time experience, we couldn't have asked for more! The island is just 7km in circumference and the most part is full of happening party shacks. The party moves to different places every night and you just need to head to the night food market run by locals to ask where everyone is headed. Expect crystal clear water, white sand, lots of people in swimwear and a shining sun. Very friendly locals all over the island and enough activities to keep you having a good time in your stay there.
• Kristy (10/5): Would definately recommend ! - This is a great location if you want to be close to all the shops but still a little ways from the loud nightclubs(7 min walk to them) and it has a beautiful beach right across the road. Rooms were brand new looking, nice and clean, huge balcony with fan! The complimentry breakfast was awesome! Eggs any style, coffee/tea, balaniese food, bacon, hash browns, toast, croissoint, fruit. Orange juce. The only tiny issue was that I never really had much for hot water during my showers but it's not that big of a deal it's refreshing after dying in the heat all day! The power also went out a few times but that is normal for all places on gili t. Water was clean didn't smell, beach was nice, food was great, one of my best stays in bali!
• Claire (8/5): Lovely! - Excellent base to explore Gili T. Staff friendly. Lovely, modern room. Ideally based for nightlife, lots of chilled beach cafes nearby but for the beautiful beaches and more isolated spots you'll need to get a bike (super cheap) and bike around the coast. Room was modern and decorated well. Recommend!
• Adam (10/5): Stay here - Immaculate room, great dive centre attached, excellent breakfast best one in bali buffet style. A little busy area and sound of the mosque starts quite early but can hear it everwhere on the island. Great beach at the front of the hotel. Would recommend it. A bit more pricy than some other places but worth it for the comfort

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good choice, ideal for divers - Really pleased with this hotel. Good buffet breakfast, good location on the Main Street but still very peaceful and quiet in the room, and helpful staff. The resort is geared towards divers, so really easy to book a dive, and head out to the dive sites 5-10 mins away by boat. One thing that bothered me as an animal lover and horse owner was seeing how high and unevenly they stacked the used oxygen tanks on the horse cart, so much so that the back of the cart was tipping quite far back and pulling heavily up on the horses chest and belly who was clearly in discomfort. That upset me that the dive shop would not require greater care to animals and not let carts be overloaded.

• Amanda (10/5): Great location for turtle snorkeling! - Awesome location in the middle of the main strip and close to good spots to snorkel with turtles! Our room was nice but the AC was leaking and had flooded the bathroom when we walked in. However, the staff very quickly cleaned it up and fixed it. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Gili T.
• Owen (10/5): New rooms and well organised staff - Booked into Tranwangan Dive for 3 days last minute with very little research, and extended our stay for a fourth night. This was the first time we had been to Gili Trawangan and I was a bit worried it might be too loud staying there on the main street, but noise was no problem at all - the rooms are set behind the dive shops and so it it very quiet there. The room was very new, clean, well equipped, and comfortable. My one recommendation for the managers would be to consider using some smaller thickness pillows, I sleep on my stomach and the pillows they have are too big to use to sleep like that. Staff were really friendly and the omelettes for breakfast were excellent! Bonus points for providing drinking water in a refillable glass bottle in the rooms - saves throwing out lots of plastic bottles!
• Verity (10/5): Friendly staff, right on the beach! - Had an excellent 5 night stay at Trawangan Dive. The staff were all exceedingly friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable. The location was excellent, right on the main strip with a great stretch of beach but also removed from the "doof doof" of the nightlife. We had planned to try some diving and the dive instructors were fantastic. Clear, thorough and reassuring! We had a great time, cannot recommend this place highly enough.
• Larry (8/5): Really nice hotel close to everything in Gili T - We had a lovely 3 day stay and were really impressed with the local staff but felt a little outcast by the expat dive staff who totally ignored us for the whole 3 days. I tried wearing a dive T shirt to get something in common but this did not work. The breakfast was awesome and the location right on the beach was amazing, staff were good. Our room had a daybed and nice garden in front but we soon discovered the chilli bush in the garden attracted random locals who wandered in ignoring the Do not disturb sign. In fact my daughter found this quite disturbing when we found a guy picking chilli's early one morning when we went out for breakfast as he was kind of hiding behind the bush, a bit creepy she said.
