• Dylan (10/5): Great host and fantastic location - Phillip was a great host and kindly accommodated our change of check out dates. The apartments had everything needed for a longer stay with covered car parking. The location of the resort is fantastic, nestled between the heart of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach and a few hundred metres from the beach. The resort and street is also pleasantly quiet.

• Lisa (9/5): - PERFECT spot. Everything about my apartment was comfortable, everything worked well and was a pleasure to stay. If there was anything I had to say I 'didnt' like it was the smoke alarm was a little sensitive outside of the bathroom door and in the morning after a shower it went off.

• Ian (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a value for money room in a good location. - Good location within easy walking distance to beachfront, between the Broadbeach Restaurant/Shopping area and Surfers Paradise. The host, Phillip, was very helpful and friendly. He helped me check in early, which is always appreciated after a day of travel. The room had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. We only cooked a meal once but we had everything needed. We had our own washer/dryer which was useful. The building seems to consist of holiday and longer term rentals or owners, which gave a sense of security. Very little. The bed squeaked but hey. Visitors need to be aware there is, understandably, a lot of re/construction/maintenance going on in the area and there are roadworks everywhere.

The apartment we were in was quite old. The couch was dirty. Curtains were filthy and the upstairs bedroom had dust stuck to the walls. The mattresses also had a smell to them

The apartment was equipped with many essentials that made our transition to Australia smooth and comfortable. • Pritesh (7/5): Great location but needs a little love - The hotel's location was excellent, just a short walk from the beach. The nearest shopping complex which had Aldi Woolworths and Coles was a 15 mins drive from the accomodation. We appreciated the spacious balcony, which was perfect for relaxing and drying clothes (there was a tumble dryer available). We also liked the fact that the bedroom was separate from the kitchen and living area. The pool was clean and well maintained, and we enjoyed that it wasn't crowded. Checking in (getting the key.to the apartment )process was simple, and there is a visitors parking spot where you can park the car for 10 mins whilst you're getting the key. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, making it a relaxed stay. There was no lift, which made carrying luggage up to the top floor quite difficult. The kitchen was poorly equipped, lacking basic cooking utensils. There was no cloth to wipe surfaces, so we had to take paper towels from the BBQ area to keep the kitchen worktops clean. The bed was extremely firm, which might suit some guests, but unfortunately, it left us with shoulder and neck pain. The property itself could use some maintenance, as there were visible cracks, peeling paint and the fly screen door with patched up holes that still had gaps. Additionally, accessing the garage required a key rather than a wireless button, which was inconvenient. While the agent Phil is aware of these issues, any improvements would be up to the building owner.

Everything you could want for a three night stay at a low price. Excellent service and communication from Phillip he made the difference as his instructions were clear and we always felt if we had a problem he was there to help. • Brough-smyth (8/5): Very good - The location was quiet and close to the Broadbeach. The nights were getting cooler but the aircon was enough to heat the rooms. Has a microwave and fridge with milk. Lovely hot water showers. A roof leak in the kitchen above the sink appeared due to heavy rain on the day we arrived. The host informed us and we checked it out. We took a risk and stayed. Only had some leaking and dripping for about 45mins one night when the heavy rain came.

• Domenic (9/5): Exceptional value and grest location, close to the sea.. - The location was excellent and quiet ..The apartment was clean and had all that you needed ...I would definitely stay here again .Special mention to Phillip, the manager , who was helpful ..I asked for red wine glasses and sure thing it was delivered promptly..I also asked for a hair dryer . Because there wasnt one in the room . ..And a new hair dryer in packet was in the room , next morning ....prompt service to satisfy the guest ..impressive .. .
• Adil (1/5): Bad, Very bad, Worse & hell - Nothing This property is overpriced. The rooms are very small. Toilets and bathroom are small, old fashio, not clean and there is not ventilation for fresh air. There is no main gate in the property so security is a concern. There are cockroaches in the room. We have seen homeless people entering in the hotel premise at middle of the night. Please avoid booking your stay this hotel. We made a big mistake booking this hotel.
• Kerri (7/5): Good - The location was very close to where I needed to be, and the unit was a good size, very clean with a comfortable couch and excellent TV with netflix. There were a few things that could be improved. The oven didn't work, or I just couldn't get it to work, so that was disappointing when I wanted to cook something. The door to the balcony was very hard to lock and the bed was very squeaky.

• Robinson (8/5): Had a great stay at Surfers Beach Resort One - It is a lovely little unit. Very clean and comfortable. Phillip is a great host and dealt with my queries very quickly. There was nothing about the unit I didn't like. My only dislike was the complex itself. It needs some maintenace and the stairs and hallway up to the apartment was smelly.
