• Adrienne (10/5): - I am very happy to make a brief comment. I wasn’t there for pleasure as I only visit St Andrew’s Nursing Home several times a year. I don’t take photos of places I stay in . The staff were absolutely wonderful so very helpful (I’m elderly but have always appreciated stand out staff. They made my stay much easier and were always cheerful when I was coming and going!!!!!!!!

Based on the score could be better, just a few things were not OK, room light was low, bathroom door didn't work well. Trash bin lid of bathroom was not working well. Hope in the next visit everything goes OK.

• Lynne (10/5): Bed & pillows easy to sleep on, esp the thin doona, very light weight but warm and cosy. - I liked everything about the room, from the lovely fragrance when we walked in to the hand rail in the shower (really helpful for someone like me who gets giddy in the shower) (only thing would have been nice to have a soapdish in the shower so I've left one suctioncapped to the glass) The shower was the same as ours at home and the hot/cold water was easy to balance. By the way I liked the towels, I find that the big fluffy white ones are hard for me to handle with my sore shoulders and thumbs - not so heavy. Will definitely stay there again if we visit our friend in Ballina again.

Nous sommes extrêmement déçus. On avait choisi cet hôtel parce que il y avait une piscine. On a payé plus cher pour avoir un hôtel avec piscine et grosse déception. Elle était inutilisable. Elle était très sale avec beaucoup de feuilles mortes et une espèce de pellicule grasse à la surface.
• Beth (8/5): Overall a wonderful place to stay and would definitely book here again! Thankyou to your team 😊 - Property was very clean which we loved, having a small baby. Whilst the buildings are old, it didn’t feel it as they have updated all the finishings and kitchen and it has a fancy feel. Customer service was lovely as were the beds! We liked that we could walk down the road to the river where the boys fished and only a short stroll to dinner at the Bowls club which was perfect for families. You can tell the owners take great pride in their Motel and we appreciated it very much! My only complaint was that the floors had an oily feel after being mopped.

• Trishy (5/5): Despite staying here a few times - customer service was nonexistent - We couldn't locate any staff on arrival despite ring the number on the office window - noticed another couple had the same problem a day or so later - the office was definitely not manned The room was ok and the pool was nice but there were no staff around when we wanted more towels.
• Maureen (10/5): A wonderful experience overall - This place is often booked out and for good reason! The cleanliness is next level, staff are super friendly and the environment of the entire motel is warm and relaxing. We stayed here to and from our trip interstate and stayed in a twin room both times, which has plenty of space, all the facilities you need and very comfortable beds. The location is very central to town, restaurants, shops, cafes, the river, marina and beaches. I had previously stayed at Ballina Palms Motel about 10 years ago and it was fantastic then. It’s so pleasing to see the excellent standard of service and comfort here is still the same.

• Miriam (10/5): Quiet little spot and a nice surprise. The room was perfect thank you. Very quiet area. Excellebt - A very quaint place indeed and just room was perfect. Sparkling clean and a delight thsnk you. Not wishing to offend but the first thing I did when I went into my room was look for a bottle of iced cold water in the fridge. Seems many places now don’t offer such a thing. Not a huge issue at all but it would have been appreciated. I had a bit of trouble with the wifi but no idea why. Loved the space - just perfect and only eight minutes from Ballina airport. Thank you everyone.

• Theresa (8/5): Litte Bali in Ballina - Beautiful, clean, secluded and easy to access Shower floor was slippery husband almost fell due to this and bed was on the smaller side queen size could’ve been bigger and tv was in awkward position.
• Isey (10/5): Charming and comfortable. - This is a lovely motel. It is quite different, with a Balinese type style and is very charming. Our room was huge (corner room) with a table and chairs, a lounge area, kitchen facilities and a moderate size bathroom. It had windows with shutters that overlooked greenery and was very private. It is very clean and comfortable, even has towels for the pool. It is well equipped with crockery and microwave etc so you can do your own (non cooking) breakfast or set yourselves up with takeaway. The bed was a large double (we think) but was fine, with good linen. There were blankets as an alternative to the doona. The bathroom had places for all your bits and bobs, and the shower had plenty of hot water. It even sported a magnifying mirror which is well appreciated, and there were very nice toiletries including make-up removal sachets. The pool was lovely. I don't usually go in motel pools but did so in this one as it was big, absolutely clean, private and resort like. There is a room near it that is open at its sides where you can lounge around with a drink, or even have a bbq. There are also loungers around the pool. Each room has space for parking but if there are big 4WD's, it could be a bit of a squeeze. The plastic kettle needs replacing with a stainless steel one, given the concerns about micro-plastics.
