• pierre (7/5): préférez un hotel plus proche du centre - vue depuis la chambre pas de vrai parking , travaux. vis à vis sur la terrasse , aucune intimité .feuilles dans la piscine dont la vue mer est bouchée par des arbres. petit déjeuner minimaliste .fruits pas accessibles au buffet mais offerts dans une assiette de la taille d'une soucoupe de tasse à café ...aucunes viennoiseries ou muffin , seulement des toasts et de la confiture.
• Ollie (8/5): We had a lovely stay at Baan Krating. Beautiful views and lovely staff. - Staff were lovely, we had a fantastic view from our room. Loved the cats at the hotel especially the ginger one! Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Liked the animals you’d come across around the jungle. Walk to the Sandy beach was pleasant. Location was beautiful but you have to get a taxi anywhere you wanted to go. Room was a bit dark.
• Storme (9/5): Fantastic and will be back!! - Relaxing and beautiful view of the sea and loved walking to the beach. Loved the cats around, they were super cute and friendly. Lovely staff and pool as well! The old shower, but wasnt bad. Just some more modern improvements would be nice

Le lobby assez impersonnel et pas convivial. Pas trop envie de dîner ou prendre un verre au bar restaurant.

• Cathy (8/5): Stunning location and cabins - Really lovely cabin which had everything we needed and an amazing view. Short walk to the beach. Nice little pool to cool off in. Had a nice lunch in the restaurant. Be prepared for very steep stairs down to the cabins. Breakfast was a little disappointing.

• Michael (9/5): Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen, absolut erholsamer Aufenthalt - Traumhafte Lage, Zugang zu 2 schönen Stränden (einer davon- nach links- etwas versteckt zu einer tollen einsamen Bucht) Der Zugang zum großen Strand war nach 19.00 Uhr abgesperrt und man musste an der Straße entlang laufen, aber wir haben uns ein Moped gemietet, deshalb war es kein Problem

• Alicia (6/5): Décevant… - La vue des cabanes les plus proches de la mer est incroyable. Le personnel est très réactif par whatssap pour réserver n’importe quel excursion et transfert depuis et vers l’hôtel même après 22h30. L’hôtel vous met à disposition gratuitement dans la chambre 4 petites bouteilles d’eau, 2 cannettes de coca, 2 cannettes de sprite et une corbeille de fruits chaque jours c’est appréciable (faudrait-il penser à changer les couverts mis à disposition également car ce n’est pas très hygiénique d’avoir les mêmes pendant 3 jours…). La piscine étant située sous de grands arbres, celle-ci étais toujours sale, même si elle semblait avoir été nettoyée, il y avait toujours pleins de feuilles et de dépôt de fleurs/pollen. Ce qui est également le cas sur les terrasses, ne laissez pas sécher vos vêtements ils seront recouverts de pollen. Le petit déjeuner est un peu décevant, trop de spécialités américaines ou françaises mais pas assez de produits thaï…. les jus de fruits proposés, si on peu appeler ça comme ça, sont vraiment imbuvables, hyper chimiques…. même pas un simple jus d’orange frais… Un peu hallucinant vu le prix des chambres…. Attention l’hôtel demande un dépôt de 1500 bath en cash uniquement mais ne vous prévient pas en amont donc pensez à aller retirer l’argent en amont.
• Lynn (8/5): Ruhiger Aufenthalt in Khao Lak - Die Bungalows liegen mitten im Grünen. Die Anlage ist sehr schön. Vom Bungalow hat man eine Aussicht auf das Meer. Es war sehr ruhig und man konnte ungestört schlafen. Wir konnten uns problemlos ein Scooter für die Dauer unseres Aufenthalts ausleihen. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns hat das Essen im Hotel nicht so zugesagt. Es war im Verhältniss zu den Restaurants außerhalb teuer. Wenn man Abends ins Zentrum möchte muss man entweder ein Taxi bestellen ider selbst mit dem Scooter fahren.
• Andreea Gabriela (9/5): - The location is fabulous, loved the view! the pool is better and bigger in reality than it looks in the pictures. There is access to 2 beaches - a small one with stones, that is right in front of the resort, and a sandy beach (10 minutes walk on stairs). On the way to the sandy beach there is also a cafe with stunning views. The food at the restaurant is good and so is the breakfast. Staff is really nice! They also carry the luggage from reception to the room. The room is actually small, it got hot during the night, so we waked up more times to switch on & off the AC. There was not enough light in the room. The chairs on the balcony of the room were not confortable. There are a lot of STAIRS that you have to climb up and down to get anywhere.
• Jan (9/5): Fuldstændig rolig og afslappende. - Stiheden, og den ustressede måde personalet var på - dette er det bedste grundlag for en afslappende ferie. Stedet kunne trænge til en lidt mindre opdatering, men fremstår så autentisk og hyggeligt, at vi foretrækker det som det er. Det eneste jeg kunne komme i tanke om er, at vandtemperaturen i brusebadet var svær at justere - det var enten for varmt eller for koldt. I det store hele er det dog mindre betydende.
• Kim (9/5): Lovely little rustic hote,l jungle feel and near the beach - The location, the view, the nature, small and intimate and best Cardio work out going up and down the steps to the beach. Rooms were clean, coffee machine great, every day fruit and drinks fantastic. Staff were lovely if sometimes their English was not so great. Breakfast was very nice not extensive but absolutely good enough to start the day, we liked the guy who made our omelettes every morning. Nothing really bad maybe if we knew when they were coming to clean the room every day it would have been nice. Apart from that all was good.

• David (8/5): - Das Personal war super nett und hilfreich! Frühstücks-Buffet war auch sehr gut und das Bett war Riesig und sehr gemütlich! Wegen der Lage am Hang gilt es in alle Richtungen viiiiiele Stufen zu erklimmen. Rauf zur Straße 3 Stöcke, runter zum Strand auch 3 Stöcke. Die Abkürzung durch das Nebenhotel wird um 19 Uhr geschlossen. Die Dusche strahlt nur waagerecht ab, muss also immer ausgeschaltet werden, um sich einzuseifen. Alles in allem jammern auf SEHR hohem Niveau, für Menschen, die in ihrer Mobilität eingeschränkt sind ist es aber sicher nichts.
• Clare (8/5): Nice stay, but does have shortcomings. - Situated right next to the sea. Quiet and calm. We left our windows open at night to hear waves crashing. Comfy beds and helpful staff. Breakfast was decent. Property in the trees, pool lovely and cool in the shade which was perfect for us in March. I am not sure some reviewers have actually been here? It’s nice but right next to a road with limited access to swimmable sandy beach. Dinner was not at all good - so need to get to beach for better restaurants- this is awkward. There is no lift so it’s many steps up and down, using taxis or walking along busy road. Shower also not great and kettle in bathroom felt unhygienic.

• bruno (10/5): Un côté boutique hôtel qui mériterait un étoile de plus - Il faut choisir la chambre « luxury pavillon » La situation de la chambre, surplombant la végétation et la mer, la proximité de la plage pour le coucher de soleil, la décoration sobre et élégante de la chambre, la gentillesse du personnel. Pas d’espresso au petit déjeuner!

• Lauri (9/5): - Upea paikka viidakon keskellä ja hyvät näköalat merelle. Rauhallista, tiemelu ei havaittavasti kuulu vaikka onkin lähellä. Erittäin hyvä aamiainen ja tarjolla paljon erilaisia hedelmiä. Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park on todella lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä ja siellä on myös todella hyvä ranta. Myös helppo mennä Khao Lakin rannalle, mieluummin kävin siellä illallisella. Deluxe-bungaloweissa väliseinä jonka läpi kuului naapureiden äänet. Jos tulisin uudestaan niin ottaisin suosiolla pavilion-bungalowin.

• Bianca (9/5): Bis auf den Fauxpas mit dem Frühstück to Go, haben wir uns in dem tollen Hotel rundum wohlgefühlt. - Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, viele Ablagemöglichkeiten, Platz für Koffer, schöne Aussicht vom Balkon, Stühle und Tisch auf dem Balkon, schöner schattiger Pool, sehr nettes Personal, sauber, wir waren total begeistert. Das Frühstück war mega reichhaltig und sehr lecker - aber nur, wenn man morgens Zeit zum Frühstücken hatte - selbst für uns, die wir keine Tierprodukte essen. Leider hat der Service, das Frühstück mitzunehmen (zB weil man früh einen Ausflug gemacht oder zum Flughafen abgeholt wurde) nicht so besonders gut geklappt. Obwohl wir gesagt haben, dass wir veganes Frühstück wollten, gab es Ei und Croissant - zudem war das Frühstück to Go sehr übersichtlich. Beim zweiten Mal, gab es 3 Stückchen Melone, 5 Gurkenscheiben und ein paar Gramm geraspelte (!) Möhre und eine Clementine zum Mitnehmen. Also das war echt krass!! Auch das Abendessen im Restaurant hatte - nicht nur vegantechnisch gesehen - keine gute Qualität. Da kann man sicherlich dran arbeiten.

• Mirella (8/5): Little hidden paradise - We found the place to be amazing. Nestled away on a cliff with beautiful views. The steps to and from the beach were helpful and we found them not to be too much as you read in some of the reviews. We met the assistant manager (Ms. Amorn) to be the shining star of them all. She is well spoken, funny and has great insiders information. Always friendly and honest. The other special mention should be the older security guard. He went above and beyond to carry heavy suitcases up and down all these stairs in the heat. We thought overall the place was kept and clean. We did see quite the insect on breakfast foods, which would be easily avoided perhaps with some covers. Also the bread was old and stale and had tiny insects all over it.
• Edward (10/5): Loved this property, so beautiful - Fantastic hotel, beautiful property. The villa was clean and well appointed. The view from the deck was stunning. It's a short walk down to the beach, which was clean, beautiful, and uncrowded. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend this resort and would stay there again. A great value for the price point. The property is built into a hillside, so being able to walk up and down stairs is required.

• Vio20B (10/5): Immersion dans la jungle - Le cadre ,demi jungle, demi mer. Vue époustouflante, calme , verdoyant, relaxant. Le personnel d'une gentillesse comme il se fait rare aujourd'hui. Une petite crique sauvage , qui a beaucoup de charme et la ou il n'y a personne en abondance..juste vous et la nature. Chambre spacieuse , très bien équipée, bonne literie. Petit déjeuner pour tous les goûts, salés, sucrés, en buffet...nous avons dîner aussi plusieurs fois au restaurant, semi gastro, une déco digne d'un chef , nous nous sommes régales.. tv connecté donc parfait pour Netflix. Ras..mais petite suggestion, un balai sur les terrasses seraient pas encombrant, cela permettrais d'enlever le sable dans les chambres et les feuilles sur la terrasse le matin..et du fait d'être excentré , une navette via l'hôtel toute les deux heure a partir de 10h a 17h serait top..

• Andreas (9/5): Wir koennen das Hotel empfehlen und wuerden wieder dort übernachten - Die Lage des Hotels hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war ruhig und wir hatten einen schönen Blick auf das Meer. Es war alles sehr gut gepflegt, ueberall tolle tropische Pflanzen. Fruehstueck hat noch Luft nach oben,das Essen im Restaurant war nicht ganz so gut und teuer.

• Antonia (6/5): - Der Pavillion ist nett eingerichtet und das Bett ist bequem. Beim Frühstück hat man einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. Für uns war die Auswahl am Frühstück ausreichend. Unser Pavillion hat etwas gemüffelt und auf unserer Terrasse roch es zu manchen Tageszeiten sehr unangenehm. Der Strand unten am Hotel ist nicht zum Baden geeignet. Es ist zu felsig und es gibt auch ein Verbotsschild. Zum nächsten Strand muss man entweder ein Taxi nehmen oder sich einen Roller ausleihen.

• Narjes (10/5): - Traumhaftes Resort, eingebettet in die Natur. Die Bungalows waren schön und gemütlich und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Frühstück war auch gut. So schön das Resort selbst ist, so habe ich leider ein paar Kritikpunkte, die meiner Meinung nach wichtig sind. In unmittelbarer Umgebung also fußläufig gibt es keine Möglichkeit kleinere Besorgungen wie Wasser o.ä. zu kaufen. Man muss immer in den nächstgelegenen Ort fahren. Das war etwas mühselig. Auch kann man den nächstgelegenen wunderschönen Sunsetbeach nur bedingt genießen, da es keine Liegen gibt, die man mieten kann. Es gibt auch kaum Schatten. Der Strandabschnitt direkt am Resort war zu steinig um dort unbeschwert schwimmen zu können. Dies hat unseren Aufenthalt etwas getrübt. Das Resort ist für einen eher kurzen Aufenthalt geeignet um z.B. den nahegelegenen Nationalpark zu erkunden und sich im Resort aufzuhalten und weniger am Strand.

• LAETITIA (10/5): Quel beau établissement !!! - L extreme gentillesse et disponibilité du personnel. La cuisine du restaurant. Le cadre est au top La literie au top. De plus pour mon anniversaire sans que je le dise j ai eu droit a un gâteau au petit déjeuner et une déco d enfer sur mon lit en forme de gâteau..voir photos Encore merci Pour dire quelque-chose... juste un petit effort a faire sur le petit déjeuner pour les français.

L endroit est idealement situe pour se rendre a une plage magnifique a 5 mn a pied du resort. Un endroit depaysant. Le service est impeccable avec un staff souriant et tres reactif.
• Tara (10/5): Unmissable!!! - Such a beautiful place, kind of integrated into the rainforest, with the loveliest staff ever. The manager is so lovely. There’s lots to do including an amazing national park next door (I came across a rat catching snake) and the pristine beaches nearby as well as a couple of nice cafes. I did a yoga class at the hotel and a surf class locally and there is access to all kinds of tours - so something for everyone.

• Sandra (8/5): Site superbe , restauration à revoir . - L’originalité du site avec ces cabanes dans la falaise. L accès à la plage qui est juste superbe toute de sable . La chambre avec son lit très très grand ! Une mention spéciale au Monsieur qui fait la sécurité à l entrée et sui nous a amené nos gros bagages valises jusqu’à notre chambre ! Il faudrait penser à quelqu’un d autre pour ce genre de prestations. Il est un peu âgé ce Monsieur, c est presque gênant pour nous touristes . Nous l avons bien entendu remercier avec un bon pourboire , la moindre des choses. L’accueil du Check in : reçu par une hôtesse peu aimable pas souriante ce qui n est pas été le cas pour le check out avec une autre hôtesse très agréable. Pour information, l hôtel demande une caution en cash de 1500 Baths… à prévoir . Le restaurant de l hôtel est très moyen …. Le personnel est agréable mais les plats sont moyens, le restaurant est assez sombre , et quelques chats se promènent sous votre table … pas très agréable. On mange vite pour rejoindre sa chambre .
