- Peter (8/5): Great location, with some TLC the apartments could be greatly improved. - The location was excellent being only a 15 min walk to Byron centre and easy access to the beach and the lighthouse. We had 3 apartments for the week for our family. 4, 5 & 6. Number 4 was the best. 5 and 6 gave the impression of being un-loved, purely utilitarian where it appeared the managing agents had been missing. In 5 several door handles were loose and in apartment 6 we had three pop-up plugs fail. Two we managed to release, but the main en-suite basin plug remained locked down; both basins also had dripping taps. As a result our ensuite basin remained full of water for our stay and we were forced to use the main bathroom for our stay. I accept that we stayed over a weekend and getting a plumber was difficult.
One final issue was that the dryer didn't dry. We discovered that the filter was absolutely clogged with months of washing fluff!

Nice layout and beautiful view from balcony. Maybe some curtains so the noise doesn’t carry throughout the house when someone is up and the other is still sleeping.

- Erika Arts (8/5): - De grootte van het appartement en dat elke slaapkamer een eigen badkamer heeft Dat de vaatwasser kapot was en we geen bericht kregen na melding. Ook een paar keer bij de receptie geweest maar die is bijna nooit open dus ook daar konden we niet terecht. Uiteindelijk hebben we dus betaald voor een service die er niet was.
Ook was het hele appartement vrij vettig. Niet goed schoongemaakt dus, dat was jammer.

- Ricci-Marie (3/5): - Great location. Parking etc. The apartment itself was very run down. Air-conditioning leaked while we were there in the bedroom. There was also a leak from the fridge that happened overnight and randomly during the day resulting in a few slips and near falls with the kids. Washing machine and dryer had no knobs and hard to use and put on cycles. Very difficult to use and made for a difficult holiday with kids and minimal access to washing facilities that were a selling point for us. Conditions of things were not in line with cost of the apartment... very disappointing. Wouldn't stay there again for the price.

- Abasin (5/5): - location was great they took more than was agreed to at checkout, I approved a checkout price, then they added 1.5% fee on top which wasnt approved. i checked out on booking.com but they billed from a different merchant account, so it took me ages to figure out if it was a fraudulent transaction as it wasnt what I approved and was a different merchant name on bank statement. responses took a long time from management. and they left only small amounts of stuff in the apartment, ie 2 coffee capsules for 8 days, 1 toilet roll per toilet for 8 days, 2 small satchels of dish liquid for 8 days, no laundry detergent, the washing machine didnt work and wasnt serviced, we fixed with the maintenance guy, he was great. for the price, it felt like there wasnt good service and they skimped on courtesy products.

The tumble drier, at time of writing, was'nt working, the washing machine had seen better days. I think the programmes are messed up. It did'nt seem to rinse. Cups and roasting tiin dirty. No oven glove and t-towels. Clothes airer was a joke. Very unstable and could'nt take a lot of washing. BBQ was'nt working and not clean. Furniture very tired, grubby and random. Office chair in bedroom ( what's that all about).
Overall, needs money spent, to modernize apartment.

- Megan (7/5): Lovely stay inspite of the accommodation - Mostly well equipped apartment. Big, spacious, and nice view from the balcony. There was a strong mouldy smell and mould in bathroom and on the blinds. We didn't get a remote for the garage. Called and was told they would sort it out the next day, but then never heard back from them. The BBQ was out of gas. Unresponsive when trying to call to sort it out.
- Penelope (8/5): Great price, fab location, perfect for family holiday, and will be returning for sure! - Amazing location, very clean, air cond in all rooms, very spacious, clean, comfy beds, and the balcony gets the sun all day. Lacked a few kitchen supplies (steak knifes, pasta strainer, etc), and extra blankets. And blinds in one of the rooms were a bit old and broken. Otherwise excellent property.
- ILark (6/5): Great location and very comfortable place, the mould was a surprise - In my opinion you can't get a better location in Byron Bay. Easy stroll into town, pretty much across the road to The Pass, and out the back garden to Tallows. Perfect apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, more than comfy living area and a deck big enough to sit out on. Unit 4 was a bit dated but was fine. Only complaint was the levels of mould, particularly in the master bedroom on the ceiling and the blinds, and the washing machine (front loader) rubber was completely black. Expect more from a relatively nice apartment block. Cleaners need to up their game or replace.

- Andrew (9/5): Spacious top floor apartment, drenched in sun and well equipped for your stay. - So spacious.! For a 2-bedroom apartment it felt enormous with a large kitchen, dining and lounge room area, two separate bathrooms and two large bedrooms. All the kitchen utensils were there with a large bench, good electric stove and massive fridge. The beds were soft and comfy, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the afternoon as the sunset. The apartment was on the top floor at the height of the tree canopy looking off into the mountains in the distance. The beach is across the road with close access to The Pass and Lighthouse and our kids loved walking and skating into the city center each day. Having underground parking helped on the busier days when street parking was full. The apartment was great, yet the owners need to fix the broken door handle on the bathroom, replace the coffee machine and fix the sliding door handle which jams on the side balcony.. Extra toilet paper and baking paper would be helpful for those there on longer stays. The BBQ on the balcony also isn't working properly and likely needs a better clean or replacement. We worked around these issues while staying there and didn't have a major impact on our stay.

They failed to provide information regarding the aftermath of a cyclone that had pasted through. They failed to provide what was advertised. It did not have a working air conditioner. They failed to respond to fair-trade NSW and to the bookings team.

The size is good We stayed in apartment 3 in feb 2025. it is a Tired and run down property in general.
The furniture is old and worn.
None of the showers worked properly, old and run down need replacement
One of the toilets was broken (ensuite) and ran continuously

Hot water out of the taps is scalding hot, and burnt my partners hand
Only aircon in the main living area, Bedroom temp in main bed reached 27c overnight

Coffee pods provided (3) didn’t fit the coffee machine 🤣

We were on the ground floor which in July felt a bit dingy and cold at night however the air conditioner provided excellent heat. Ground floor would be great over the summer and was also good for access with surfboards etc.

- Fiona (8/5): Overall a great stay loved Bayron Bay. - Great location, very comfortable beds and sitting area. Only one key, it would have been great to have an outside lock box especially when there are a few people of differing ages.
Lids for the pots, also more delph and cutlery as had to keep washing things rather than filling the dishwasher.
It also would be good to have cleaning products available so that guests are encouraged to clean as products already there.

Well equipt unit, very large/spacious for a 2br unit. Comfy king bed. Was quiet It is a very dark and cold unit so prob great in summer, not so much winter. The unit we stayed in was ground floor. Can hear guests above but fairly minimally.

Also clothes dryer didn't seem to work either. There was very little dishwasher powder. So we had to buy in a supply, also dishwashing liquid.
It would be helpful to have a few basic food items too.

- Adam (10/5): Love the place. - Great location and the size of the apartment was great with 2 kids. Access to a great bush walk or access to the beach. Parking was easy also. Washing machine needs a little attention.
- Natalie (8/5): Very good - The apartment was large and spacious with 2 bathrooms. We loved the location, directly opposite the beach and walkable to town and the lighthouse (you can't see the beach because of trees).
We enjoyed barbecues on the balcony. Having a washing machine was handy and parking in the garage below. There was plenty of wardrobe space with lots of hangars.
Not cheap but good value when comparing size of property and location with similar places in Byron. We were initially only given one key to the apartment (collected from a keybox) and arriving over Easter it was hard to find anyone to speak to. When we were eventually able to find a staff member they were very helpful but it was a couple of days into our stay.
Bathrooms are quite dated but shower pressure was good.

Spacious apartment with fenced garage under the building. The kitchenware was far from clean, we had to dish everything before we used it.
The place was very dusty (roof, wardrobes, woodwork, air extraction valves etc). Also the balcony was also very unclean and we had to clean it ourselves. The balcony on ground floor had very narrow balcony with oversized table.
The housing manager had little understanding when he asked if everything was to our satisfaction and then got some negative feedback.
Also the pictures on Booking from the apartment was wrong. This lead us to believe we had rented a apartment on 2nd floor meanwhile we ended up on ground floor (the house have 3 floors).

Beds were comfortable but pillows were too hard. The apartment was very tired, and needs an update. Tiled floors were not clean and needed a mop. Kitchen is old, needs a renovation , it also lacked basic amenities like a strainer .
The balcony lacked some comfortable seating to relax .
