• Emily (10/5): - Great (and very well maintained) outdoor area ideal for families, with a playground, pool and barbecue facilities. Fun outdoor games scattered around the yard too. The kids loved it and spent lots of time outside. Very friendly helpful staff.

• Julie (10/5): - Woodbyne Cottages is a fabulous place to stay The manager was so welcoming and helpful The 3 bedroom cottage was so spacious clean and private with a large grassed space outside The toilet is through the laundry not in the bathroom which was great for privacy The pool was beautifully maintained and the bbq area spotless We strolled into Cowes twice which took about 15 minutes We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back
• Mark (8/5): Nice stay but wifi was woefull - The cabin was comfy and everything worked fine except the wifi. The pool was not available on time one morning as it was still being cleaned, the cleaner didn’t speak English so couldn’t find out when it would be open. I had arranged my morning for a run then a swim so was annoyed at this delay.

• S (10/5): Great spot for a holiday. - What a great little spot to stay. Just out of Cowes and so peaceful. We could sit on the balcony and watch the wallabies next door in the evening. Only six cottages, all with covered space for your car, and lots of room inside. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was great. Everything we needed for the stay was included, we would definitely stay here again. Oh, and lovely hosts too.
• Lotus (10/5): - really enjoyed our stay! Rooms are nice. Pool is clean. We saw so many different birds on site. Ponies and kangaroo are seen on the farm nearby. Kids love this place so much!

• Bernice (10/5): A lovely place to stay - This is a lovely site. Ignore the word ‘resort’ if that conjures up large numbers of people and cabins. There are only 6 cabins in a well maintained landscaped park. It’s handy for all attractions on the island

• Grace (8/5): NYE stay - Stayed for two nights over NYE, accommodation was basic but very clean and comfortable.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - The property is in a good location on the island and we enjoyed seeing the kangaroos in the open field as well as the koalas in the reserve nearby. It is a simple cabin/cottage which was cold for us because there is no heating and the weather was cool. I repeat my complaint about the instant coffee offered in the majority of rentals in Australia! What a shock not to have a simple coffee machine available. I hope that changes because instant coffee is dreadful. There is a lovely restaurant on the property which added a very nice touch for a one night stay. I wish them success.

Full-sized refrigerator with fully equipped kitchen. Seemed recently renovated with new carpeting. Air conditioning & heating unit only in main sitting area. No electric blankets on beds. Toilet was separate from main bathroom/shower/sink. Bathroom was cold -- no heating lamp & far away from heating unit in sitting area.
• Joy (10/5): Nice cottages close to beaches and Cowes and shops - . The place was clean and the staff very friendly. It is child friendly and the pool was clean and warm. The restaurant was great and the staff there were great. Close to everything you need. I will be going back there again.

• Lisa (10/5): Fabulous place to stay - We had a wonderful long weekend away staying in the 3 bedroom cottage unit 1. The cottage was spotless clean and very spacious with everything you need. Comfortable beds and a nice shower. We met Jenny on arrival and she made us feel very welcome. The restaurant on the property was also excellent serving delicious food and only a 1 minute walk back to unit. Close to town and other attractions. Definitely will be staying here again.
• Philip (10/5): Island Hideaway - We used our cottage as a base for our motor racing weekend and it was perfect for our needs. Even though it was very cold outside, the reverse cycle aircon kept the place warm. It was conveniently located near the town and walking distance to the shops. Place was clean had had everything you would need for an extended stay with the added bonus of being able to cook for yourself. Highly recommended.

• Joanie (8/5): Lovely and spacious cottage - We stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage for one night. Next time will plan to stay longer. It was really comfortable and very quiet. Woke up to see ponies in the paddock across the driveway. Really nice place.
• Kellin (4/5): - Luxurious space and pretty clean. However, a dryer will make laundry less challenging especially when the weather in the island is always cold and wet. And it is certainly not welcoming to impose a fine of AUD30 on guests for not drying up cutleries after wash, and keeping in the cabinet on the last day of stay!!! No where in Australia in my 3wk road trip has any host done that!

• unhappy mum (2/5): Very basic accommodation - These cottages were unclean and in need of repair, the pool was filthy with rubbish floating in it and there were no towels in our room, speaking to others staying there were some rooms that had towels, others didn't and some people who asked for them and were told they would have to pay extra to have towels

• Natalie (10/5): Relaxing Weekend - Freezing weekend on the island but had a lovely stay at Woodbyne. Staff were lovely, super close to town and excellent price. Only downfall no bedroom heating, just in main living area. Would still highly recommend!
