PETA was a very caring and thoughtful host. Baked us a lovely fresh loaf of bread as well as homemade jams, local honey, fresh eggs from her hens, tomatoes, cucumber and capsicum for our salad dinner, fresh orange juice and plenty of milk. From the farm fresh eggs, to the home made sour dough bread, blueberry jam and freshly picked cherry tomatoes. It was the perfect stay from the moment we arrived, until we left. . - Karolina (9/5): Quiet and homey place - This place had all we needed for a short stay (well equipped, but a really tiny kitchen, very spacious bedroom, bathroom with both shower and a bathtub, cosy living room). It's conveniently located between Richmond and Seven Miles Beach (approx. 10-15mins drive to both) and also not far from Hobart and the airport which makes it a perfect base for day trips. On top of that the host, Peta, was absolutely amazing - she greeted us with home made bread, raspberry jam, fresh eggs, strawberries...she gave us some recommendations as well.

- Ros (10/5): The perfect place to make your base when you visit Hobart and the surrounds. - This is a beautiful stay with delightful hosts. It's just the right distance from Hobart - close enough to get there in 15 minutes, but without being in the middle of the busy area. We did day trips from here to Richmond, Port Arthur, and Bruny Island, all of which were an easy drive away. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had all the conveniences. We would stay here again in future and recommend to others.

Our host, Peta went out of her way to make us feel welcome with lots of personal touches- home made bread and raspberry jam, fresh farm eggs, heated towel rail and night light, charging station for phones etc. Right in the middle of a wine trail and close to historic Richmond.

The host was lovely, and provided us with several unexpected treats. We were impressed to be asked whether we preferred full cream or light milk! (Reading the visitor book, they vary the “treats” - we were lucky to stay near Easter!) Great location when arriving at Hobart airport (not too close - no plane noise!)

- Lee (10/5): - The cottage was spacious and clean. It was on a high elevation with fantastic view . There are horses sheeps and other animals . Feeding of chickens were interesting . There was a vineyard behind the cottage . We spotted a few kangaroos in the night. Will recommend friends to stay
